working on a cd for lily..."lily's lullaby's" read these words to celine dions song "a new day has come" it is so beautiful.

A new day has...come
I was waiting for so long
For a miracle to come
Everyone told me to be strong
Hold on and don't shed a tear

Through the darkness and good times
I knew I'd make it through
And the world thought I had it all
But I was waiting for you

Hush, love
I see a light in the sky
Oh, it's almost blinding me
I can't believe
I've been touched by an angel with love
Let the rain come down and wash away my tears
Let it fill my soul and drown my fears
Let it shatter the walls for a new, new sun
A new day has...come

Where it was dark now there's light
Where there was pain now there's joy
Where there was weakness, I found my strength
All in the eyes of a boy

Hush, love
I see a light in the sky
Oh, it's almost blinding me
I can't believe
I've been touched by an angel with love
Let the rain come down and wash away my tears
Let it fill my soul and drown my fears
Let it shatter the walls for a new, new sun
A new day has...come

A new day has...come
Ohhh, a light... OOh

DH came home from work tonight with flowers and chocolates. He said he felt guilty for making me watch that horror movie last night because I got so upset. The poor guy, my emotions are all over the place.

Amy, sorry you are sick again. Yucky.

Jen, what are dippin' dots... maybe I'll google. Sorry, not sure about the furniture question? MIL got us a gift cert for a crib so that's how that went down and we got DD a mis-matched dresser not long ago from Ikea.

Kelly, thinking of you too!

Alana, all the best for tomorrow, how exciting. Wow, I hope the hospital doesn't get busy and that you can continue as planned. I cannot wait to see little Reed's face.

I've had a sore belly and gas all day? TMI. Any chance that's a sign of pregnancy?

Okay one more DD story that may not translate as funny to you guys but just wanted to write about it. So in preparing DD for preschool I've been telling her that when she goes potty to try not to pull down her undies until she's in the bathroom. Usually they come down in the living room and she does a bare naked bottom run to the bathroom and when she comes out she's still dishelved and half naked. I told her to try and take care of it all in the bathroom and she wanted to know why and what the big deal was? I told her because not everyone should see your bottom, and not everyone wants you to see theirs, that we all need privacy in the bathroom. She like "I don't want privacy, I want them to see my bottom and I wanna see theirs". So today I was getting out of the bath and was roaming around trying to find clothes and she's like "uh, mum, I can see your bum" and I said, "well, it's okay for us to see each other's bums, just not strangers". She says "oh, so it's okay for you to see my bum still?" and I say "of course" so she pulls down her knickers and moons me, then wiggles it a bit in a mocking way (with as Ronni would say, a ****ake eating grin) and then walks away. It was the sort of moment you which you could capture on tape. I hope she doesn't pull that stint at school. I'm sure I'd get a phonecall.

Heidi, Stella is hilarious. Little rump shaker! How are you feeling?

Amy, your cold is still buggin' you? I hope you can sleep it off. How about something from Indigo Girls? Lullaby by Dixie Chicks.

Kelly, Congrats.

Heidi- I love it!! Stella cracks me up! She is so beautiful in so many ways!!!!

Kelly- That is fantastic news Sweetie!!!

Amy- How about "Lullaby" and "God speed" by the Dixie Chicks. Those are both beautiful songs!! Great now DH is playing them and I am going to cry!

Jen- I had to LOL when you said Canadian comps have the best ratings. Which comps are they? Please do not say Graco. lol

I feel like total ****ake. I thought you were supposed to feel better as pregnancy progresses. Not so. TMI alert. I went to go #2 and I had such severe pain on my right ovary (the over achiever) I almost passed out or puked...maybe both, I was just sitting there willing the pain to go away. Do you think it's because righty was the soul producer for all this and last u/s they said it was huge. I would almost describe the pain as bad as when I had my ectopic and peeing and pooping doubled me over, only I could breath through this pain.... Not fun! i have my u/s monday at 12:30 so at least I can find out if we're dealing with a cyst or just a crowded ovary because of my uterus or something.

Some days I jsut cannot believe it, I have made it to ten weeks. I'm so sappy today. God has truly listened and guided me this far. I am so amazed every day. We have truly been blessed and I know that we all will be!!!

No notepad for cheat sheet notes so I better type fast!

Heidi - Stella really is just the cutest thing out there! I'm sure her butt is adorable too!! By the way, Aiden's been wearing his outfit lots and it is so cute.

Kelly - Yay for 2nd lines!! It's a good sign. Only 36 more hours right?

Martie- too funny about the cats. I've heard they tend to love cribs! I'm so excited you and dh would try again in January.

Liza - Small world it is! Guess we've both been to many of the same jersey places! Our stroller had a bassinett attachment and I used it lots. We didn't convert to the seat option till Aiden was 5 months. Until then, he basically used the moses basket part of the stroller and if he fell asleep you could take the basket off and carry him around the house like that. It was handy!

Jess - Glad you are getting some r&r time over there.

Jen - 45 degrees really?? We have a cold front right now so our high is only 89! I bought the Canada company baby furniture. Very expensive but it was a treat for Aiden from my parents. The name of the line is Capretti. I do love it. I had actually picked out Stanley but my Mom also didn't like the made in China idea.

Josee - How did the garage project go today?

Amy - Can't wait to see the pics! While your pregnant, your nasal passages swell too which makes you extra vulnerabe to colds. I had way too many while pregnant. I swear if anyone in the mall sneezed than I caught it!

Shawna - The drive thru sounds like lots of fun...especially the fried food part!

Alana - Tomorrow is the big day! Are you going to be able to text any of us updates from the hospital?

Crazy day. Let's see, Aiden's antibiotic has now caused diarrhea and we went through FOUR outfits today, I have no idea how many diapers, and now he has diaper rash too for the first time. Lovely week, isn't it?! He started screaming bloody murder tonight when you even just laid him down for a diaper change. Cried for about the last 20 mins of the night straight...all the way through his bath just about. Poor Aiden. His butt is bright red I slathered on the butt cream tonight and put him in the next size up diaper so it wouldn't be too tight. I gave him 1/2 a banana tonight to hopefully alleviate some of the diarrhea and I'll just keep giving bananas till I see a difference! Now I'm just hoping he makes it through the night. He pooped during all 3 naps today which is highly unusual. Fun times over here!

Oh, and dh is of course going to watch football all day tomorrow with the guys! What else is new. I'll be home with a crying baby... trying to wait till 5pm to open my bottle of wine (half joking there)

Off to bed for me. Night everyone! Hope that line darkens tomorrow Kelly!!

Shawna-we were looking at Natart. But I found a bunch of Amish stuff/USA made wood stuff that we really like.

Heidi-I meant to tell you that Stella is a knockout. She has beautiful hair. Also, I do that butt wiggle trick around here too And I am totally with her. I walk in the door at home, and it is pants free living all the way baby!

Rach-poor Aiden! So I wanted to ask you, how do you keep from getting peed on when you change him? I am freaking about that. I saw these little pee guards from a upscale baby store. Do you use those? Walt wants to get a high boy dresser/changer table which I told him great, then you will change ALL the diapers cause I won't be able to reach If we get it, peeing and pooping won't be my issue!

Jen - I was scared to death too about the peeing-on with a boy. I tried those pee-wee cover things but they wouldn't stay on his small "equipment" when we started. So, I just put a wipe on top of him while I'm changing him. As long as they are "covered", then you'll have very few accidents. Someone I know used those disposable breast pads for boy coverage and it worked too. We bought a desk with a hutch and are using it now for a changing stations. It's a good heights, has drawers for supplies, and we won't have to buy another piece of furniture down the road. Just an idea....

covered...got ya. I was thinking of investing in one of those welder's face masks, or getting a glove box with acrylic sheilding (for example, see Image:Glovebox.jpg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) for the changings!

Actually Rach, I remember you have a fantastic lay out for Aiden's room. If you can dig those pics up, can you post them again? I would have to search forever to find them here.
Amy-yours is great too, but very girly.

LOL Jen. When changing Tristan but I did as Peachy did, use a wipe on top on his woo-hoo. When I bathed him I use another washcloth on it too. Warm water made him pee.
I would love to see nursery pics. Weather here In NY is bad so I have been lounging around. I took a nap, ate dinner in bed while watching TV, and did some shopping (online) for my Lovebug. I got him some fall clothes (he's already 2T) cause old navy is having a sale. I got him some new bedding in blue and brown from target (Dwell School book) and more bins/hangers from babies r us (still had gift cards from one of my showers) to finish his closet. I already have a storage bin full of clothes to put away in the attic. This kid is a weed, he better stop growing cause I'll need to get a third job lol.

Peachy..if I lived closer I'd offer to come keep you company. I don't mind screaming babies especially cute one!

Alana....ooohhhh your time is soooo close. I hope you don't get bumped.

Sunny...dd sounds like such a ham.

Amy...how about 'somewhere over the rainbow" not sure who sings it there are so many versions. How about "butterfly Kisses" and my personal fav "I knew I loved you before I met you" Savage garden. In the video hubby made me he used that song. There is a link in my sig for the video.

Kelly...I agree with AMY 100%. This is it!!

Shawna...I didn't feel better until week 15 but at the end it's all worth it. I was just remembering my morning sickness/gas/metal taste in my mouth/pre-term labor/cerclage...and despite all of that I am soooo prepared to do it all again. The end result is beyond worth it.

Sunny....Yes! Sadly not a pretty one like the glow you get but it is a sign.

April....flying?? In this weather??

Sorry if I missed anyone. Hope everyone is having a nice evening.

April-we'll miss you Bring your computer! You can type and fly at the same time, can't you

Amy-I think you should add You Know I Love You, Don't You, by Howard Jones. And I have about a million other Howard Jones songs that you should add that don't apply to babies, but since they are HoJo...

Jess-ugg, so the baby is gonna pee in his bath water? And pools?

So my mom bought a bunch of baby clothes and there were some stuff for 18 months and 2T! I told her to stop that (had her return the 2T because it still had the security tag on it, and when we took it back to have it removed-it never set off the security alarms-it had put a nice large hole in the outfit). Anyway, it is crazy to have 2 year old clothes 5 months before I am about to give birth! Besides, I just don't want to store a bunch of stuff not being used. I think asking her to only buy up to a year is reasonable, right?

So what do you think about this crib? Amish Mission Collection Crib
our bed set is mission style too and it is so simple. If you go back a page to the cribs, I also liked the Manhattan and the Sleigh cribs. Will I need a crib that drops down so I can reach in? I am not exactly tall. What if I can't reach the baby?
