Hi Ladies!
Quick update....my test results JUST got to Boston IVF - talk about close call. My appt is tomorrow afternoon at 430pm. I am sooooo NERVOUS!!!

I am also having a colonoscopy tomorrow - what fun!

Anyway, today was great! I had a meeting in Shelly's town at a company and then we met for a chat. I got to meet Danny - he is ADORABLE and such a good baby. Shelly looks amazing. I took photos with my blackberry. Will hopefully try to post later or email them to Shelly for her to post.

Heidi - hang in there hun.
April - YAY for your u/s! TOOLOO!!!

Shawna - sorry about your funk. And your lil kittie being sick. thats not fun.

Amy - glad to see your post. I am thinking about you! Did we ever get to see the pics of your shower? I tried once logging on and it didn't work.

I have not caught up ....but will later on tonight while I am running back and forth to the bathroom

Jen - I do about 4.6 mph (on a treadmill walking) ...but I am having to stop and train a dog on a leash. So it takes A LOT longer to walk 5 1/2 miles. We have to stop, sit, etc. When I ran 5K's...I was running that in under 29 minutes.

Rach - forgot to mention how happy I am that you had such a lovely day yesterday!! the shower sounds perfect. i remember you telling me about your friend. tell her to save the clothes so you can mail them my way hee hee. DH spent the rest of the afternoon watching sports. Patriots then the sox. I was in bed by 8pm.

Thank you Jen, I'm just hoping for the best. The saying expecting the worst hoping for the best is really how it is right now. I don't want to get my heart broken again. Unfortunately I recall every detail from the misssed m/c last year and draw comparisions constantly.
On a bright note, I am wearing the tightest bra I own today and the girls do hurt a little now. I'm forcing the symptoms now.

Kelly, sorry you have to deal with another colonoscopy. Are they just monitoring you from your last one? Or are you having more symptoms? Glad you enjoyed your visit with Shelly.

Shelly, Kelly reminds me that I peeked at your website recently and you're looking really great.

Shawna, sorry for the grumpy DH. That's a bummer. Maybe he has SAD. I truly believe it affects people although you canadians are tougher than most.

Thank you everyone for being supportive and patient with me and my freakouts.

Gotta type fast over here! Have a bday dinner for the annoying SIL with the even more annoying strict schedule so dinner is at 6pm so her daughter will be in bed by their exact time. We have become early bird specials in our 30s!

Heidi - Everything will be wonderful and Thursday and your little bean will have grown so much. Add me to the list of people with no symptoms. I never once puked my entire pregnancy. I know this first trimester is the worst of the worries so we are happy to hold you hand everyday

April!! Yay!!! Too and Loo are doing perfect! We all just couldn't be more excited for you two. What a wonderful scenario - one baby for each Momma!

Kelly - I'm guessing you have to drink that nasty liquid tonight? Yuck. I've had to do that before each of my endo surgeries and I'm not a fan. Hope tomorrow is an easy day.

Jen - All is quiet on your end. Guess you really did make it back to work!

Amy - I hope to hell you didn't have to go to work today. You know Aiden was only 2 days older than Lily right now when I delivered. But, it would definitely be nice to only deal with one pain at a time. Just know Lily is in the clear!

Shawna - Sorry your dh is having such a stinky day. Rainy days can do that to a person. Hopefully, your kitty has stopped puking by now.

Shelly - Sounds like you and Kelly had a fun reunion today!!

Susan - Lots of trips there! I say practice with Phoebe in the pack n play a lot. That's probably one of the few regrets I have that Aiden hates them. You will have so much fun. Maybe you can find a babysitter in Vail... I'm sure there are some great spas!

Gotta run and get dressed. DH is going straight from work and I have to pick up my little bro along the way. Have to make sure I get there on time so I don't have to sit next to the annoying SIL

Just like to tell the world, I love Kelly. To pieces.

Heidi, I did go through RSC for my ER and ET, but I did all my bloodwork and u/s at UMASS in Worcester with Brian Clark. I know RSC only offered one ultrasound but I was with my RE in Worcester. He did one at 6, 7, an 8 weeks. I was with my OB by week 9 or 10. I got an u/s at 13 weeks for the Nuchal Testing with my OB. I'm sure if you told the OB that you're an IVF patient, they will be more than willing to monitor you closely, like mine did with me. You're not any old pregnant Joe Schmoe that they don't have to worry about because you have no history. Tell the OB flat out, you've been trying for a very long time for this wee one and are going to need an OB willing and ready to deal with a little justifiable neuroticism. That's what I had to tell mine. She even wrote at the top of my chart "IVF Patient" to remind her just what she was dealing with. Tell them what you want from them and give them an opportunity to tell you what they can offer you. Hope this helps, love. You deserve the best they have to offer. Good luck!

Shelly - I just sent the pics to your email.

Susan - bring tissues...I cried SOOO HARD during that movie! so when can i come visit you and phoebes???

Rach - have fun tonight. Yup..drinking the gallon jug. they don't make you buy the phospsoda (sp?) anymore. They give you this HUGE jug with power and you add water and have to drink that within 3 hours. blech.

Heidi - the last one i had was in february before landing in the hospital. i guess for piece of mind i want to see if it has spread any further up since it was and has only been "ONE INCH".

I am more nervous about going to the RE tomorrow!!!

Hey ladies! I had a crap day (nothing horrible, just silly little stuff) so I can't make too many personals but am definitely thinking about everyone!

Kelly - i'll be thinking about you tomorrow! glad the results got back in time. so cool you saw shelley.

Amy - so glad you are home and hope the stone passes quickly and "quietly" sweetie.

Rach - hope dinner went ok!

Susan - have so much fun tomorrow! glad phoebe is sleeping well. you sound good!

Heidi - hope you got some reassurance from the stories of other ladies here. i understand your worries, but am sure you have nothing to fear! hope you can go in earlier for your u/s.

Jen - how was work?

April - yeah on the u/s! Too and Loo are awesome! congrats on passing your test, too. very cool that mel's trip got cancelled.

Shawna - sorry Dh is having a rough day.

Gotta go get stuff ready for tomorrow and hopefully pass out! I always sleep like crap but maybe tonight will be better.

i am on lots of meds, bear w/ me.

kelly~ i know you are nervous, we will all be there in spirit with you. as far as the pics, if you pm me your email address, i can forward you the link. i don't know why it won't work on here. i will be thinking about you tomorrow.

liza~ sorry you had a crappy day.

april~ sounds like too and loo are growing away in there! i am so excited for you!

susan~ have fun tomorrow w/ your mommy movie. that sounds like fun. more pics of little phoebe please!

shelly~ glad you and kelly had fun. wish we all lived closer and could get together. i love little danny's bedtime video...he is so precious!

rach~ how are things going over there? i'm not sure if i ever got to tell you that i am sorry for the way things have been w/ you and dh. i hope he comes around, b/c you are so special and he needs to wake up and realize it. we want our rach to be happy. i agree w/ some of the others, sometimes it takes men a lot more to "snap out of it" and realize what they stand to lose. maybe some counseling will help him come to an understanding of what he needs to do and help you with the resentment.

heidi~ in the beginning my symproms came and went and it drove me mad. i know it's hard to wait between each u/s but i bet your little bean is just thriving and growing away in there.

shawna~ i hate grumpy dh days! is he feeling any better? maybe a good dinner will cheer him up.

jen~ are you back at work today? how did that go? is your back okay?

alana and devan, i miss you girls. i hope you both are doing okay. i can't wait to join you both in mommyhood.

josee, we missed you! it's not the same w/out you around! i hope you are doing good, i think about you often.

girls, i am really nervous about this stone. sorry, tmi...but i can FEEL it up there. every time i pee i push so hard and pray that it comes out. i am determined to collect it so i am having to use a strainer everytime i pee. gross. it it putting lots of pressure on things in there and it hurts. does anyone know what will happen if i am not able to pass it on my own? i don't want to still have it in my body when lily is delivered.

so, since i am a "regular" at the hospital (3 stays w/ kidney stones AND NSTs every Mon./Thurs)...ALL of the nurses and i have becme BFF's. seriously. during my nst's they come in my room, kick of their shoes and gossip w/ me. it's too funny. i am hoping this works to my advantage when i am in labor. one of the nurses teaches the childbirth class. it's every tues. for 2 hours (4 weeks) and i just never had the time to do it. i was telling her i regretted it and she offered to come to our house (she lives 5 min. away) and give chris and i a private class. how cool is that? i am really excited.

i am going to go lay down, i'm not feeling so hot all of a sudden. i miss you all and hope everyone is doing good.

amy - wow, a personal childbirth class! that's awesome, and you deserve it with all the tough stuff you've dealt with this pregnancy. i passed my stones and could feel them (it seemed like) coming through the urethra, and there was a little blood. don't know what will happen if it doesn't pass - can they break it up or do you have to wait til lily arrives? are you working? hope not.

Work is good... I'm enjoying the three days on/four days off aspect of it, for sure! I just wish I got paid what I earn, you know? Teachers should be the highest paid individuals because without us, no other career could exist. So there. On the other hand, however, if teachers were paid what they were worth, we would have the wrong kind of people being teachers. On the other foot, though, because of the lack of monetary compensation, the right kind of people are sometimes forced to choose different careers in order to make ends meet... it's vicious... I shoulda been an architect. It's what I was studying to go into when I felt impressed to go into education... *sigh* Maybe it'll be my second career...

*nite*
