Wow, tonnes to catch up on. I had a very busy day at work and school (big school assignment, we are designing a doggy spa & hotel...lots of fun) but I didn't get home until 9pm!

So because I'm exhausted I'll save my chatting to just a couple of the topics. Firstly, a HUGE thanks to Jo. You are a sweetie for checking up on me, so please stay and chat to us won't you? Its not an exclusive club, the more the merrier. Are you on facebook? If so, request us as friends so we can throw sheep at you from afar.

Brenna, I'll be dreaming and thinking about your healthy little bean all night and day. I just know there will be a strong little heartbeat and all will be fine. But we won't rest in the prayer/positive thinking department until then!

Rachael, good luck with your u/s too hun. I can't wait to hear how big and healthy little Aiden is in there.

Jen, I used one of your cups to test if my HCG levels were back to zero yet and they weren't! Theres a very dark line still. So now I'm mad as it means my levels are still in the hundreds. So I'm sending my positive cups over to you, I want the negatives now okay? Lets do a trade!! lol

Everyone else, I'm hoping to get home at a decent time tomorrow so I can catch up. Worst case scenario I'm off work on Friday so I will definately be back on properly then. I MISS you girls!!

Shawna - Thanks for the well-wishes... and the chats with God... that's really all prayer is... just a more formal name for it. When you pray without ceasing, it's hard to be on your knees every minute of every day... chats with God is all He asks for. Yours are so precious to me... so again, I thank you. When do you close on your new home?

Jen - Okay, so that's TWO of us for the Major League... vs. the National League... hope you're not transferring your 2ww delusions onto me! I may be two grapes shy of a fruit salad sometimes... but not when it comes to my Sox. Haha... there was a news reporter from Colorado at Fenway for the first time today, to report on tomorrow night's game... and she remarked how hard it was to look like she "belonged" at the series because she was so starry eyed about Fenway and the Sox... then she called Sox fans "rabid". I think that is the PERFECT word to describe us... its deeper than in the blood. Every fiber of our genetic makeup pulses for the Sox. The Rockies can try to keep up.

Robin - Woah! 8+ lbs! (3.6 kg for you kiwis/canadians ) So happy to hear he's thriving. You and Irina have a name for him yet?

Jo - Hey, there! How's Georgia? And yes, what are your foster kids like?

So far I have Susan and Rachael's reunion plans... keep 'em coming!

My Boston buddies...here is the story. I am a true MARLINS fan. I am still attached to my home state teams. If I could have gone to the Rockies vs Marlins game this year, I would have worn my Marlins World Series Champs shirt. I did it last year and DH and I almost got our butts kicked (DH was NOT in Marlins gear, but I don't think those drunk guys really wanted to hit a girl -and apparently I am a bit obnoxous, especially since the Marlins won that game!).
But I just started to cheer for my new state's team and was happy to see them win in the NL. But really, the way I see it, I like to root for the team in the series lead- that way if they win out there will be less games played, and less sports on my TV. Except when they have day games and my coworkers ditch work for an hour or 2 to go watch the game

But it is so much fun to smack talk. GO ROCKIES!!!

Ronni- are you talking to CCRM next week?

I am jealous of all the hook ups that are going on around here. Anyone coming to CO anytime soon? You will have your own suite with a new bathroom! (actually, it is the entire basement-it has a bedroom, a NEW bath as of this Thurs or Friday, and a living room area-oh, yeah and the wine cellar).

You can always change your settings as well...put certain people on limited profile viewing as well...plenty of things you can do...like the other girls were saying. Oh also, DH and I just love Stella and her alter egos!! We were saying how cute that is! And having a giggle or two.

Martie- Hey Girly Girl! How are you feeling? Doh DH...lol. I must confess that's me in this relationship...DH loves the calendar, repeatedly tells me dates to remember and I promptly forget. Hehe... I just told DH that I was looking into what a plane ticket would cost to go to Canada for a bit... he said, "Ooh, a vacation... how much?" $550 PER TICKET! He said, hmm, $2 a mile... we could drive for less. Then I told him that I was hoping to meet up with some forum girls and he said, "Oh, so I'm not even invited!" I replied, "No, DHs are welcome to travel with us!" "DH?" he asks. "What does that mean? Dumb husbands?" I got a chuckle out of that... he automatically thinks we bash our Darling Husbands when we get on here and talk... little does he know how much we all love our husbands and the support they give us... so I made him wiser by reporting that he is my Darling Husband... with the same initials.

Okay, real quick ... What does your DH/DP think about our online chatting and friendships? Since I've been on this forum for over a yr or so I've meet some extremely great gals (HaHa that is you all) and I've even swapped phone numbers, personal emails, and I've mailed some things to some. DH thinks I'm crazy and he just doesn't understand why I need to be online all the time and why we talk like we do. Hello! You gals are my life, you keep me sane when he doesn't want to hear about my hot flashes anymore. There are a lot of people that I may be able to meet up with Brenna, Rachael, Elsa, Jen and the reunion of course and DH just thinks that is silly. He is so nervous for me to meet anyone in person that I've met on the internet. He says that I'm just too nice and vulnerable and he doesn't want anything to happen i.e. he doesn't want me to go and meet up with someone that I've been chatting with and then all of the sudden that person I was chatting with and building a relationship with turns out to be a serial killer or a pregnant girl baby stealer (you know, we've heard of those crazy people that kidnap a pregnant girl and then ...). So that is the take DH has on my whole online friendships and such. I reassure him that this weekend I doubt Brenna is going to kill me, heck her daughter will be there too ya know? Ugh, I guess I'm just wondering if my hubby is the only one like this. I love the idea of a reunion (Shelly I'll PM you sometime today), but as soon as I mention it DH will laugh or make fun, then I'll have to cry (because that is what I do these days). Sorry for the rant, just curious. I feel DH could give two craps about how important you gals and this forum and friendships mean to me.

Devan- I get the feeling that my DH secretly feels the same way but just says nothing about it. I get, "Oh that's nice", or "a reunion sounds fun", but he seems totally disinterested when I am talking about it and I can almost sense he is laughing inside. men just don't get these kinds of connections. They don't bond like we do.
I say tell him how importnant this forum is and how much we all mean to you and if he laughs again then ignore him. When he asks what you are doing all of the time say "nothing". he'll begin to feel left out and want to know more...

Well Devan on one hand it must be nice that your husband is worried about you. I think that is their instinct. At first my husband thought I was loonie too because I would have to be on the internet all the time but now I think he has figured out that this really is helping me mentally so I do not go crazy. He actually told me when we got our 1st beta and it was so low that I should talk to the ladies on my website to see what they thought. I can totally understand where your husband is coming from with all the weirdos out there but like you said Brenna is going to a Hannah Montana concert with her daughter I doubt she is going to be caring around an axe or anything. Does he know anything about online forums? Maybe because he doesn't know how this works he is concerned. Plus you do know some sort of self defense don't you, what with your job and all.

Hey Devan! It's sweet that your DH is worried. But Martie and Susan are right. DHs just don't get it. My DH goes from being sensitive to how much time I spend on this forum (saying; "What are you doing in there all the time?") to referring to it as a place to turn for answers or support (saying; "I don't know - why don't you ask your girls on the computer?") When he saw that Jen had sent the necklace he kinda looked at me like a dog looks in the mirror. Couldn't seem to figure out how an on-line forum could build real friendships or connections.

If he's really concerned you can invite him to join you when meeting up with others. I know my DH's concern would suddenly vaporize once he realizes that acting on that concern would interfere with a tee time at the golf course or a Cowboy game!

Gawd! I hate the company we rent from. They call EARLy this morning to announce they have a viewing for our rental THIS afteroon...ummm where's the 24 hour notice???? ARG! talk about peeing me off!
