LOL well let's see. Dh originally had the dakota when we first started dating. Then we decided my festiva was going to give up the ghost and we should get rid of it (FYI it's still running for my parents! LOL) so I sold it to my parents. Then DH and I found out about his vericocele and were prodded to start trying. We bought the 04 VW because we thought it would make a fine family car, that didn't happen and the car was crud! It always had something wrong with it and we bought it brand new. So then we sold it and got the 1500 for DH and bought the used Durango for me, agian a fine family vehicle. The durango started crapping out and we needed a big truck to pull our holiday trailer that we lived in last year. So off went the half ton (thankfully we leased a few of these cars!! LOL) and into the 3500 we went. Then we got to where we're at now, realized we'd never own a house with a $900 truck payment, sold our holiday trailer and then didn't need the truck. Bought the jeep so that DH could get ot work on the farm, then DH"s parents started pulling faces and being rude. (ALWAYS telling us we didn't matter because we don't have kids! That we don't need a house...etc...guess they want us to live in a cardboard box because we are INFERTILE???) Sold the Jeep and got the ranger and the Avenger! I told DH, no more and he agreed! LOL.

Oh did I mention we also had a 68 Ford mustang a few years back? we sold that so we could afford furniture! LOL

As you can see, we've had way too many life changing events!! LOL

Alana-
I was in California for a few weeks and then I started taking sculling lessons, so I practice a lot during the week. I want to be able to kick butt. I am a little person with not a lot of muscle! I need all the help I can get.

LOL yeah, I loved the big old one ton!! It was red, leather, a cummins diesel, it purred and I got an emotional attachment to it because it was the only truck I got to ride in when I was pregnant, it took me to our ultra sounds and then it took me to the hospital when I miscarried. It's sad and how stupid it was that I got an attachment to it. I think I called it BIG RED! LOL. I loved that truck!!

Susan, you might be a little person...but I'm a tall person (5'9) with no muscle so trust me...size is irrevelant! Sounds like you have been taking care of yourself though, which is great news. Thats whats most important.

As for the car, no unfortunately its not a hybrid. I know they now have one in this model and I wish it was ours. But its just the regular old oil guzzler...which will make George W. so proud.

I've heard those Hybrids aren't much better for gas guzzling though either...unless things have changed since we last looked at them. LOL

Probably not...I wouldn't be surprised if Texaco or one of those monster oil companies is secretly tampering with the hybrids. The only way to be sure is to buy an electric car. Oh...thats right...they KILLED it!!
