Rach..It would probably be a 2 or 3 day hospital stay..and yes, I think Mel would be able to get some time off to pamper me!

All this food talk has me ready for dessert! We had CPK for dinner...maybe some ice cream is in order.

I think I'll skip second dessert because I need to turn in early. Have appointment with new RE tomorrow and it'll take up a couple of hours to get there with current conditions. I have some horrible poking and proding first with the nurse practioner while DH babysits DD in the car until I'm ready for him to come in and sign paperwork if we get the go ahead.

Heidi-where do you put all that food? Good luck tomorrow!

Susan-glad your tests were okay today. I can not wait until tomorrow's u/s results! You better text me! My work's holiday party is tomorrow, 12-4:30pm (just the company, no spouses) so I can't check until I get home.

Rachael-OMG Aiden is almost here! Your feet worry me. Please please please take it easy.

April-I know surgery is a big decision. If you don't do it, will Mel try to carry? When would she do the FET? And what is CPK?

It's all sitting heavy still in my belly and yet I can't stop. I think it's the nerves about tomorrow. Don't like the prodding and meeting new RE. Social anxiety I think. I haven't been to a dentist in over a year because I can't stand the invasion of personal space. At least with RE, they're nowhere near my face. Also, if they're doing u/s.... well you know... last time I had a ton of those it wasn't for a happy thing.

Heidi - I hate the dentist too! I will go to the gyn weekly before the dentist. I don't know why. Good luck tomorrow. I hope the RE is a kind person and can explain lots about the study so you don't just feel like a guinea pig.

Jen - I promise to take it easy on the feet. I really don't have many plans left and dh is off tomorrow and Thurs. I guess no labs for you tomorrow if the party is in the middle of the day! Oh, and CPK is California Pizza Kitchen.

April - I'm glad Mel could spend some time with you if you decide to do the surgery. Does the fibroid cause you pain now or it's just the peeing inconvinence?

Dear Santa,

Dear Santa,
For Christmas I really, really want the new Infertility Barbie. She is really cool. She comes with her own Follistim pen, 6 ovulation test strips, a calendar and a very small pocketbook. Her figure is a perfect 34-0-36 for half the month and a slightly-bloated 38-34-36 for the other half of the month. As her figure returns to normal size at the end of the month, Infertility Barbie produces a margarita and a Vicodin tablet. How cool is that?
And Santa, I want my Infertility Barbie so much that I am willing to give up the handsome Ken doll accessory. Infertility Barbie doesn’t really need him, and on those rare occasions when she needs him she doesn’t actually want him.
Other accessories I would like to have, if you aren’t too busy, include the tax-evading RE doll with subpoena in one hand and a turkey baster in the other. He comes with a surly nurse and a computerized telephone answering service. There is also the hybrid car for IB to drive to all her zillion appointments. Waterproof mascara would also be nice, and perhaps a xanax or two.
I realized that I have asked for an awful lot, but Santa there is one present that I think my Infertility Barbie MUST have. Please be sure to send me an internet connection and Infertility Barbie’s internet forum. She needs her friends!
XOXO
Jo
PS I hope you like the chocolate cookies and chocolate milk I left you. I sampled them myself and thought they were great.

Jo..Hahaha! That is too funny! I want Infertility Barbie too!

Jen..Yes, if I decide against the surgery then Mel would try and carry..I guess the FET would be in Feb. I hate all these decisions..what does a girl have to do to get preggo?! CPK is California Pizza Kitchen.

Rach..No, I don't have any pain..but at night I find that I sometimes pee often, like 3 or 4 times a night. Not fun..lately it has been better though..so I really don't know if it is the fibroid or not..kind of weird actually.

Jo I'm dying over here, that was awesome. I'll have to print that out. That would have been great for the Christmas cards!

Jen your appointment sounds like a wonderful plan. I'm happy you guys are getting somewhere with someone that cares about you and not your $$$.

Rachael I'm so happy that Aidan will be here soon, Can't wait to see his handsome face. Sorry about the ouchies, hope you can stay off your piggys for a little bit.

OKAY-- WHAT DO I DO? My nurse called to see if I wanted to test on the 24th. My RE doesn't want me to be eating alive with worry, waiting for the 26th (How nice is he - I HEART him). So do I test on the 24th or not? I could have a good Christmas or a maybe not so good one. Oh and I don't feel anything, that worries me although I'm trying not to let it. OKAY -- WHAT DO I DO?

I picked Tommy up tonight and Frasier sniffed him and rubbbed against the urn, it was as if he knew it was brother. I had a mini breakdown at the vet though. Ugh, I'd love wine.
