Amy-sorry you are having a bad day Stupid AF. She doesn't show when we want her to, and when we don't want her to...

Shelly-glad you got to hear the hb again.

Heidi-so you will be starting your next cycle soon, huh? That is great. Don't worry about you being part of a Phase II trial. Phase I is safety. Phase II is efficacy and tolerability. Phase III efficacy in a particular population. At least this is so for drug trials.

Shelly..Yay on the heartbeat!

Jen..I'm having the test just to cover all the bases. I guess people who elevated NK cells can have problems with implantation and miscarriage. I hope your headache goes away soon.

Amy, so sorry AF is taking her sweet time. Is this unusual for you or do you have long cycles usually??

Susan, I'm so happy for you. I really like the all the names so far ... you're going to have a lot of fun making lists for the next 9 months, that's unless you're busy shopping. Sophia has always been on my short list? If I'm blessed with another girl one day and you have a Sofia, can I still have a Sophia??
Boys names are tough. DH and I could never ever agree. He thought all my choices were sissy names.

Grits, that was funny. he he.

Man, TV stinks lately. I'm watching the absolute worst reality show. It's awful but I can't find anything else and I want to just zone out tonight.
OMG Heidi! That article is so Alana!!! She would die laughing as she talks about her house being a "crack" house!!!! Where are you Alana?

Of course you can have Sophia. I have not decided which way I would spell it. My mom says that Sofia looks like Sofa. So maybe not. Maybe I can steal Stella????

God know I am frightened of boys so maybe these will be girls If not I will need a lot of help from my sister!
Yesterday when DH was watching the u/s with me he says "There's Hobbes on the screen". The RE looked at him like he was an idiot and I said "I don't think so, you can pick the middle name". He did not like that. He told me I would be asleep while he was signing the forms. I told him I would call security and not allow him in the hospital!

Amy- Feeling better today sweets?

Shawna- mucus/spotting sounds like implantation??? Have you POAS yet?

Rach- Thanks for the tips about the twin pregnancies. I am always so sad that you lost your twin. I am sorry if I brought up bad memories .

Where's Martie been?

Jen- What are you cooking for the holidays?

Oh, Rach is it ok to cook with alcohol? It burns off right? I am making Irish beef stew and it calls for beer. Also I put lots of red wine in my tomato sauce and meatball mix... I guess you could call me Julia Child. I went to see her once with Emeril. It was a hoot! She was drunk the whole time!!! He had to help her walk b/c she was falling down.

I have not really seen DH for more than 30 minutes this whole week.

Devan- Are you going to give in or what?

April- What is NK testing? I am dumb I know.

Shelly- You are tired. Poor thing.

ok, for Brenna, Rach, Martie, Shelly- Any of you gals have terrible nightmares since becoming preg?

HI girls, Shelly that is wonderfu l news about the heartbeat. I bet that sound is amazing and to know it is coming from "your" baby. Congrads again.

Okay, Derrick and I talked AGAIN, and we are going with our original plan, beta on the 26th. I'm pretending (well trying) as if we never got a call from my nurse about testing early. I told Derrick last night that the 26th was it and the I didn't want to talk about it anymore, the anxiety is killing me. He said okay and then that was the end of it. I think I'll request the 26th off from wor so that Derrick and I can be together and then afterwards maybe I can hit some good sales after Christmas. I'm hoping all is well CM is still there and other than that I don't feel much of anything other than the lumps in my arse from PIO. They itch like crazy - *scratch scratch, awww, relief*

Off to another long day at work, Ugh, this inspection is literally draining. I've been in bed at 9pm all week. The good news is the weekend is right behind us so I'm happy (I can sleep in).

Shawna I got your card in the mail, Thanks so much, you truly are a sweetheart. Okay I hope you all have a great day today. Chat later. Hugs!

Shelly - Aiden's heartrate has been right around 135bpm this whole time. I know it's just an old wives tale but you never know! They say the girls' rates are higher.

Susan - You're cracking me up with all the questions Absolutely no hard feelings about the twin questions. I just didn't want you to worry. Our twins were a day apart at the 6wk u/s but the doctor didn't think anything of it. The date measurements on those u/s are so dependant on where that particular tech put the little crossbars to measure by. Absolutely, you can cook with alcohol b/c the alcohol part will cook off with the higher temps. My dh is crazy busy right now too. Not fun.

Devan - I think the 26th sounds perfect! Even better if you and Derrick can both take the day off to be together. A nice extended holiday.

So, after many family phone calls last night, we finally figured out that my Dad is named after my great grandfather. That is the person we were planning on using for Aiden's middle name. It really shouldn't be this complicated but my grandparents are holocaust survivors and don't like to talk about the family they lost in the war. My grandpa lost 11 siblings in the war but no one knows any of their names b/c he won't talk about it. I am going to force them to make a family tree when they come to visit Atlanta next! So, Aiden's middle name looks like it's coming from my mom's side. DH doesn't have anyone he wants to honor. How does Aiden Maxwell sound?

Thanks Devan My Grandparents are the most wonderful supportive people whom I just love being around. They've been through a lot but are very kind and just want the best for all of us. My dad is an only child so we are the only grandchildren.

Good Morning!

Rach..I really like the name Aiden Maxwell! It sounds very distinguished. It makes me so sad when I hear or see stories about the holocaust. I am so sorry your family went through that. They must be very strong.

Susan..I think dh needs to start thinking of some other names. NK cells are natural killer cells..I only know a little about them..some people have a larger than normal amount and may have immune issues. The NK cells may attack the embryo/fetus and cause a miscarriage..I think they may cause implantation problems as well..So I am going to have a test to see if I have normal levels.

How is everyone today? I think I have all my shopping done..now I have to clean house. My sister arrives from Dallas on Saturday and I am hosting a get together for Sunday morning breakfast.

Morning all!

Rach- I love the name Aiden Maxwell! Sounds very distinguished! I'm sorry that your family has had such terriable hardships in the past, but I agree, you need for your grandfather to make a family tree. It's only fitting and he needs to honor them.

Susan- I laughed about Julia and Emiril. LOL. Love it! Ha ha

Devan- you're most certainly welcome!

DId I ever tell you guys that a few weeks ago, I stopped to talking to BOTH my parents? I actually ended up hanging the phone up on my father. They both think that this whole IF thing is BS and that I just need to move on and adopt. That I can't talk about what I'm dealing with in our lives while my stupid mother can babble about her stupid work every time I talk to her? (how is that fair? I don't want to hear about her work either, but I don't tell her her work is BS and to just get over it!) I thought my parents would understand as it took them two years to concieve me after my brother, so ya know, I thought maybe somewhere they'd relate....they don't. I haven't spoken to them since the beginning of December and theymust be as pissed at me as I am at them! They haven't even sent a Christmas card!!! Whatever. YOu know those people you lose along the way because of IF....those people would be my whole side of the family!!!!!

Got an OB GYN appt this afternoon, but I think AF has officially shown up. OH well, keeping the appointment because its been sohard to get in the first place that I know he'll beable to work me in again soon in a week and a half and then we can get things figured out!

had to come home because when I went to the bathroom at work the button from my pants popped off! So, now I am in jeans.

Rach-about About Aiden Alex...That way he could be AAA!!! Just kidding. I really like Aiden Maxwell. Glad you liked the card. I know I am lame, but I figured it looked like fun to make (I saw a girl at work design some) and since it has preprinted names, no need to sign!!!

I can answer some NK questions if anyone wants. All part of the immune system...

Shelly-oh, guess I was confused. Well that is wonderful that you could hear the heart!

okay, I gotta get back to work

Hi Jen..sorry about the button episode..jeans are better anyway! So about the NK cells..have you heard if it can prevent implantation, or is it more related to miscarriages?

Shawna..I'm sorry you and your parents aren't speaking right now. Family is so important, I hope you all can make amends soon.
