April-that would be a smart thing. You would think the kiln would put out a little more heat! The best part is when I get to flash cool the glass. I have to open the lid for a minute and I stand there warming up. We talked about getting one before- they make whole room heaters. Maybe we'll go get one today.

Tia-I would like to know what it is like to have sex without the BD...It is hard. Just don't have the energy for it anymore. That is why IVF is so appealing. Isn't that sad? Are you worried about pg because of genetic issues? Can I still hope you get pg and have a very healthy and chubby little baby (they are the cutest )?

Wow!! It's like a party down there! I wish I could hang around instead of going to the evil SIL's house for this overly expensive birthday party for a 1 year old

Jen - Should we chip in and get you a space heater? You need something. I'm sure they'll all be on sale in the South come January!

Alana - Welcome back from the dungeons of school!! Congratulations on your project. I want to see the doggie spa & hotel! You're right. IF can take over your life... so can a complicated pregnancy but no complaining here. Take it slow over there and try to enjoy the time with dh before everything gets back to a timed bd'ing.

Heidi - Sex just for fun?? What's that?? It's going to be a while to get back to the groove over here too. We spent way too long timing everything. I think we're going to need a second honeymoon to remember what used to be fun. I feel so old when I realize we have no spotanity anymore.

April - Have a great time with your sister!!

Ronni - Good luck with the ILs. Have some eggnog for me! I'm sure you'll have some good stories for us tonight. So fun about the new camera!

Shawna - I can't even imagine going near shopping this weekend. I say anyone left on the list gets a gift card at this point! Those are easy enough for the sloppy elf to wrap.

Urgh. Got to drag my butt to the party....

Heidi - I forgot to say they were running a very similar study at my RE's in the spring. It was testing the effect of a long lasting release of Follistim versus the once daily injections. I didn't qualify b/c of my thyroid but I know someone else that did the study at my clinic. The good news is that the nurses will do all of your injections so you don't know if you are getting the daily dose or the one time dose. My friend was 39 and she still had I think 14 eggs retrieved. The only complication is if you were the type that was slow to stim the doctors can't adjust the dosage but that's never been an issue with you. I think it looks good from the non-scientific finance major over here! Oh, and I know at our clinic all the meds, u/s, and even the icsi was included so it was completely free.

Heidi- My DH just started to smile upon seeing the pic, I think he's thinking it's a better job then I do most years! lol. At least he's trying, instead of going the nice CHristmas bag way! LOL.

Rach- Yeah, I don't think DH really wants gift certificates so we'll just call it good. He got a $500 suit for his interview anyways and wants that to count towards Christmas. LOL. Although he was saying he should get something for his neice/nephew, but I don't think so. I would not want to brave toys r us at this moment!

They're so long it's really hard to get shoes that fit. Maybe she'll be a good swimmer.

Peachy, the RE said that ICSI wasn't covered with this and made us decide on the stop whether or not to pay for it. We asked if he could tell us whether or not it would give us a substantially higher chance of it working and he said that DH's sperm count wasn't awful (his words) and so we should be okay without it. I believe it would have been $2,500 and I'm still conflicted about whether we should have said yes.
