Hurray!I think someone asked yesteray when my surgery was scheduled..I am having Mr. Fibroid evicted on Jan. 10th..too late to give him his 1 month notice, but oh well!

Hello all!! So much exciting stuff has happened and so much as been written that it has taken me 2 hours to read it all. Well we did go to the store for like 15 minutes.
Anyway I wanted to say Congrats to Devan and Christine this is so exiting what a great Christmas present and start to a new year!!   I am so happy to be home and cannot wait to tell you all about my christmas time but DH wants me to spend sometime with him now. What is he thinking!!

And I guess if this is really twins I am going to fly past that size!!! Feel better soon! April- Glad Mel is home. DH is on call and I am making dinner but I don't know if he will be home.  ME: 36 (low ovarian reserve, poor egg quality, endo) DH: 37 (inconsistent counts, low motility) TTC 4 years IUIx5 IVFx5 BFP on final IVF! 12/19 First U/S(5w6d) TWINS!! saw two sacs, one heartbeat, baby b a little behind we hope he/she catches up!  beta 26,000.Second U/S 1/2 Lost baby B. One healthy baby now measuring exactly on target with HR of 155. 3rd u/s baby b still there but getting smaller  baby A is perfect, moving around and has a HR of 172.1/24 OB appt-baby measuring ahead-HR 173. 3/19 it's a girl!!!!  Do I get my kiss now?? OH yeah, have to buy dinner too! Ok, I just got freaked out...Mel just called me on her drive home from the Burbank airport..So we are talking and all of a sudden I hear her say.."there is a dog in the road." The next thing I hear is what sounds like a car crash and Mel saying " S H I T, I just hit the dog..So she drops the phone, but it is still connected so I can sort of hear what's happening, but really choppy. I hear the dog yelping in the background and Mel saying we have to get the dog to the vet. Mel drove over the poor dogs foot. What I don't know is that the dog belonged to what Mel described as these "gang banger" types and she is going over to the apt. where they live..keep in mind this is not a good neighborhood. So while she is trying to figure out who the dog belongs to, she sees a 9mm gun on the chair outside the apartment. At this point she figures she'd better get out of there..but the owner did say he would take the dog to the vet. I hope he does, poor dog. I hope he will be ok..and I am glad Mel got out of there ok too.

Oh my gosh April- that is scary. I guess at some point you have to make a decision, your life or the dog. I am glad she got out of there and I hope they do take care of the dog. Where the heck is the neighborhood?
I hope you don't live there!!! here are some flowers for you after that .yikes. Hi jen- Sure I will take a kiss. DH has not come near me since we found out I was pregnant, maybe once. As a matter of fact. I just got a a call from my sister telling me how much she dislikes her husband today. Mine just called to say he is on his way home and that he loves life. What is he on crack?

Susan...thank you for the flowers..I needed them! While I was listening..my heart was beating so fast..and I wasn't even there! The area is up near Burbank Airport..It's about an hour's drive from here..so thank goodness, we don't live near there!
Mel said the dog was out in the street near the center divider..WTH were those guys thinking letting there dog out into the street??! It was a little chihauha mix..poor thing.

April-I am easy, and cheap-you can buy me Baja Fresh
I am glad that Mel got out of that situation okay. How crazy. Poor doggie...I hope he is okay.PMS has really set in. I almost went to town on some biotch at Macy's. DH went over earlier to check out wool coats and found one, so I went over at lunch to a. get free lunch from DH (he got a kiss for that) and b. check out the coats. There was a sign that said $129.99. So, the coat looked great and we decided to buy it. Went up to the cashier, and it rung up as $147.50, which was 50% off. There were signs that said 50% off of wool/leather/suede coats. The one that said $129.99 was cashmere blends, which is what the coat we wanted was. Anyway, we told the woman the price and she snapped at us that it was 50% off, not the $129.99. We told her about the sign, and she said where was the sign? We told her it was on the floor, with the coats that were on the floor. She gave us the most evil glare-like she was blaming us for the coats being on the floor. Look sweetheart, they were on the floor when we got there, and if you took care of your department, you would have picked them up biotch! Anyway, she goes over to get the sign, and comes back showing us that it says 50% off. Walt picks up the sign, flips it over and shows her the $129.99-which was facing the customers. The coat rack was not on the floor when Walt first went over and the sign $129.99 was facing out, which is what attacted my always hunting for a bargain husband So, she gets all snotty (btw, her name is Susan-go figure ) and insists on calling the 'sign person' (her term). He isn't in, and the person on the other end of the phone apparently didn't want to come down and deal with her crap. So, she starts pulling apart the sign. Behind the $129.99 was a sign that said $149.99, and behind that was a 40% off sign. All of the signs said valid between 3/2007 and 2/2/2008. So apparently they just change it whenever the mood hits. She gave me a look like we changed the sign. AT this point, I almost slapped the s hit out of her. But I held my hands behind my back and bit my lip. Biotch. She said, well I'll just remove this sign. The other cashier said, no just leave it. Then Susan turns to us and says that she will give it to us, but this shouldn't have happened. Oh, and before that I was staring at her and she gave me the evil eye for like 8 seconds. I was so close to giving her a black eye. So, she puts the coat in a bag, then walks over to hand it to DH. She says, Have a nice New Year. I mumbled, as I was walking away, Bite me b itch! Now-I could have gone to her manager. I didn't. Probably because I was boiling so bad that I wasn't sure what would come out of my mouth...what happened, yes, but probably with a string of nasty words. Oh, and yes, I would have walked away for that stupid $18 just on principle (the coat at Dillards was $159 and we almost got it, but DH liked this one better). I am not paying more for something when there is a sign next to what I am going to buy. And it is not like the money was coming out of her pocket. I couldn't believe that this woman had the power to override the price all along, but insisted on calling the 'sign person' over? She is lucky I didn't rip her a new one. I was so irked that I even braved a call to my dad to complain (trust me, one doesn't call my dad unless you have several hours to waste, but I told him to shut up and listen to me complain, which he mostly did, but interjected here and there...). Well, I feel better after rehashing that story again. Sometimes sales people are so stupid. But DH really looks hot in this coat so I guess it was worth it in the end...

Jen - Love your Christmas pics. Looks like the kids had a great time!
April - So glad Mel is okay! How scary. I heard DH during a car accident on the cell phone at 3:00 a.m. after poker night with his buddies. Scariest time of my life. Really, really glad Mel is okay. Final dinner prep is done. It's been quite a day. We never did Christmas/Hannukah with my family and we did it today at our house. So...lunch and gits and shuffle everyone out then get ready for dinner. All this with my cold. I know I have a fever but I'm trying to really hydrate so I can drinky winky tonight!! Happy New Year to everyone...I'm hoping for a great 2008 for all of us!

Yeah, it was a fun day. We gave the cats catnip and Maggie got some cheese, so everyone sat around the tree while we all opened gifts.
So I just got the mail and there was a package from FIL for the both of us, so of course I had to open it while calling DH to let him know , but there were all these coin sets from the years we were born, including a uncirculated Eisenhower silver dollar from the year I was born. Pretty cool, but still I sit with a question on my face. What is one supposed to do with all this?
