Susan try to stay positive, we are all with you 150%. I hear that prego symptoms come and go, I'm sure that is what is going on with you right now. You POAS and your lines are still there, keep smiling and thinking positive thoughts always. I wish I could just give you a huge hug and tell you all will be just fine. I'm sorry you are worrying. We love you bunches ... .

Amy not much is going on over here. I'm supposed to be caching up on laundry and straightening up today but like you, I can't get away from the computer. I'm a JUNKIE! I have my 3rd beta tomorrow, looking forward to that, I'm excited this time unlike the others. I know in my heart that everything is going the way it is supposed to be.

Susan - Ahh, I just heard this great quote on House (I love Hugh Laurie... but only when he's talking in an American accent... hehe)... "Unless worrying has become a new form of treatment, it won't do me any good..." Stop torturing yourself, love... you are, what, eight weeks about, right? Statistically, there is a 10% chance of miscarriage in weeks 3-6, which you've passed, and this number drops to 5% during weeks 6-12. A 5% chance. The percentage drops even lower if you've seen a heartbeat... which you have. The cross-section of women on this forum doesn't help because everyone on here fell in that 5-10% chance at one point or another... unfortunately for some, more than once... so looking at previous experience and all of our collective experiences doesn't really give you a clear view of the likelihood of losing what you've been blessed with. Think positively and keep yourself calm... tomorrow will be great... both babies will start to look more like little people at this stage... you may even get to see them wiggle. My prayers go out to you... that you will be filled with peace. Hugs!

Ronni - I don't think anybody really hates you for being a size 2... hehe... so don't take it personal. Multiply your size by 6 and you've got my size... I was a size 5 in high school... *sigh* phew... time flies when you're mowing down Papa John's pizza for two years... never should have worked there...

Tia - Question... in the adoption autobiography, do they give you a timeline/criteria to follow or is it pretty much just write what you want about your life? Just curious. I wrote an autobiography once... in middle school, though. We had something like 10 chapters, two pages a piece. It was fun to do... took us the last half of seventh and the first half of eighth grade to finish... anyways, just curious.

Ugh, okay, so been on vacation for 10 days... and I'm just now sitting down to write up some reports for the state saying why I've earned my license... bah. And I can't start it with, "I am the queen of all that is procrastination."

wow, tomorrow is a big day for us! devan and christine have betas, susan has her 1st u/s and i finally have my ivf consult. i will be getting my calendar...i cannot wait to see when my e/r and e/t will be!

I've been wondering this for a while, but have y'all had anyone stop being friends with you because you're going through IF? Lately I'm finding more and more people are throwing IF in my face, saying it's changed me, I should stop b i t c h i n g about it, etc. but lately, I've talked so little about my IF to people outside of this forum, that I can't really understand why people would stop liking me due to IF?! It's not as though we choose to be infertile! And yet, people feel like we do?! I really don't get it. If it weren't for y'all I'd feel so alone, it's not even funny. I don't talk about it, unless someone asks me how it's going or where we're at or anything, so I just don't understand.

i think it really sucks that you have some friends telling you that IF has changed you. of course it has. that is what life is about. i say that throughout our struggles with IF i have really learned who my true friends are. my best friend and i really had some friction and tension. she felt uncomfortable around me and never knew what to say (not that i expected her to know what to say) well, she tried for about 4 months for her 1st. (she thinks that was forever!) but then, she unfortunately lost her pregnancy at 12 weeks. that was about 8 weeks ago. ever since then, she has been so apologetic about what i am going through. we have really reconnected, and i believe that she is finally seeing why i have changed over the past 2.5 years.

some people will never know the pain of IF. but i can bet you that sometime in everyone's life, they will endure hardships that will forever change who they are. when that time come for them, it will be easier for them to understand why you have changed. but, i trully think some people just have no clue what it is like to go through such an emotional roller coaster.
