Rachael, I'm so glad you have all this info. I'm feeling completely in the dark here. I've decided to assume this might be the trigger shot until I see another test tomorrow thats darker not lighter. If its lighter I guess we know what it was. If its not I have a real reason to get excited. Until then...you girls are the only thing keeping me sane!!

I have a loan closing for a buyer on Monday. It is now 4:15pm and the bank is yet to finish the paperwork and send it over to the attorney's office for review. I begged my buyer not to use this bank for exactly this reason and now we've already postponed closing once. Very frustrating. I think I've earned another ice cream sandwich

Yum, I love those ice-cream sandwiches! As for loan closings...been there, done that, got the t-shirt! Honestly, our last purchase I was frightened for a moment it wasn't going to go through. Our bank was being a complete idiot and messing things unnecessarily up. I dont envy you right now...that can be very stressful.

Thanks Alana. You're right. Lots of stress for no reason. Just wish people didn't wait till 5pm on a Friday to send over documents for a Monday. Oh, and then avoid the realtors calls too and act like nothing was wrong!

You know what, I've realized that if this does end up being the real deal and not just trigger remnants, I think I'm gonna be very very cautious at getting too excited. I just have this sinking feeling that my first miscarriage wasn't a one off. I know I shouldn't think that way, but many of you girls have suffered more than one so I know its common. Its times like this I wish I was religious...I'd then put my faith in God or something. Hey, maybe you girls can do that for me?

But if you want them, I could ship them out tomorrow AM to get to you as quick as possible (don't know the time of shipping from here to Canada...wish it was yesterday- I could have FedEx'ed it from work!!!).

Okay, the trigger is DEFINITELY out of your system. I had 10,000 units and it was gone 9 days post trigger. What you are seeing is NOT trigger!!! Holy Cow!!! I've got all my rose quartz, turtle, moonstone, beads of life necklace (got it at the SCI concert- I like the 'beads of life' name-makes me think of life growing inside us), plus my St. Gerard stuff working over time for you!!!

Ohhhhh then can I complain to you about how I think Clear Blue is a waste of money?? I have never gotten a proper positive on that test BOTH times I was pregnant. My beta was more then enough for the clear blue the first time and it still sucked! LOL.

First Response is the bomb though!! If it weren't for FR, I'd probably have not known I was PG the second time! LOL

Well, I can tell you that all of those types of tests are called lateral flow. And they all work on the same principle. I would definitely check the expiration date on the boxes. But, that being said, I have some OPK tests with expired dates and they work fine. Companies actually put the expiration date way before these things actually expire.
Just so you know, my parent company makes the tests. My division doesn't. I still get them free. But they are the type used in Drs offices...ones where you pee in a cup, then use a pipet to add a drop of pee to a depression on the cartridge. I kinda like it better cause I feel that I am sure the pee is going in the right place and I get the right amount on the cartridge, BUT it is much more fun to POAS!

I still say CB sucks...lol...sorry. I had bought them that day and I'm sure they weren't expired. Maybe CB canada just sucks! LOL. Anywhich way, I stick to FR now. First Response is my friend...but not the nice kind of friend, she is the one who spits and jeers in my face and makes me cry all afternoon, until the next time I want her to come over and then it's the same thing again! lol. (ok I'm losing it...it's official...I"VE LOST IT!! LOL)

Thanks Jen! I'm not cheering yet...this trigger thing is still puzzling me. However I wish I'd been able to get those POACups off you...lol. If you still want to send them that would be great...I'm not home free yet! I really do hope its not still the trigger shot, but its just so early I am going to be cautiously optimistic. With all our histories I'm positive you girls know what I mean.
Oh, and my beta is on Tuesday, but if things are going well still I'll try to go in on Monday instead. It will all depend on how things are in the morning. I do think all your charms etc are working though Jen...so keep them close...they might just work!

Shawna, I'm a fan of first response too. When I was preggers the first time around CB was complete rubbish and barely showed a positive, yet the FR was really strong. I mean my beta then was in the 300's and the CB line was faint...like hello?? Now, because I'm a fully fledged poas addict I just buy in bulk via the US the cheapy ones as they do the trick just as well. I'll give you the web link if you like? (hehe I'm a poas pusher!!)
