Martie- I read somewhere that the kids don't like Nicole or Keith Urban...and that they choose to stay with Tom and Katie...so perhaps it's a matter of the whole family dynamics?

Alana- I had to laugh....painter boy! hee hee.

I'm still not motivated to go grocery shopping...Dh will be so disapointed in me! But I just can't get it together today...and he needs food for his lunch for tomorrow. *sigh* At least I"m dressed now.

Shawna thank goodness its not just me whos being slack. I've been so distracted with all the banging and crashing upstairs (thats for you Susan ) that I didn't get out to the store or anything. Plus my stupid throat hurts like crazy. I had all these plans to make dinner for him etc, but I feel so lousy I'm not even hungry. I think I'll tell him to just grab a burger or something on the way home. Yikes...I'm a lazy, lazy wifey!!

April, you are going to be fine hun. I'll be thinking about you all day tomorrow until you post and let us know you are okay. Actually, tell Mel to post as I'm thinking you will be too groggy.

Alana...I think it's funny that painter boy is upstairs painting away and doesn't know all the things we have been saying about him! Hee Hee! We are so naughty!

I have to go to the grocery store too and have no motivation either..but I want to stock up now so Mel has stuff to eat while I am in my morphine induced haze. I guess I'd better get my lazy butt in gear.

Martie- I know when I saw that in the article I flinched a bit too. I did also read that the kids don't like Nicole and Keith...
Anyway hooray for her for acomplishing pregnancy.
Tom Crusie is a whackjob. I am sure katie can't be that bright either.

Alana- you poor thing. you have had a busy day with all that banging up there.

Shawna- How are kitties?

I just made an awesom Indian recipe. I had to get about firty different spices(Thank Goodness we have an Indian market 1 block over), but it came out delicious! I can't wait to eat- I am starving. Do any of y'all eat before Dh's come home if you are hungry? Do you guys always sit down and have dinner together?
Just curious!

April-Happy Anesthesia!!!! I am sure you will be nicely loaded before you enter the OR! Have them give you some versed or something before you go in!!! YEEEHAWWWW! I love Versed! Morphine's not so bad either.

She'll probably just assume its all the hormones meds making you call her April...the receptionist at my clinic always just has this smug look on her face. Like she thinks its funny I have to have daily 'dildo-cam' appointments, or that my DH has to use the 'special' room to do his business. Luckily she likes us and always sneaks us in to see the RE even when shes busy.

Shawna, I know a way to get around your DH wanting you to cook...be really bad at it like me! hehe. Seriously, I must be the worst cook out. I have absolutely no imagination in that department. However, I've made a new year resolution to try a new recipe at least twice a week. I've even joined up with this great website that gives suggestions etc. If this doesn't help me...then theres absolutely NO HOPE!! Susan, do you give lessons? Even online ones??

Okay, so painter boy just left, hes not back until Friday. I'm actually glad hes gone...I have a huge headache and I just want the place to myself. Yay, I can hop back in my bed now!!

Susan- We usually eat together but now that he's in training, I've been instructed to eat without him ifhe isn't home by 6.30 or something. LOL i can't remember. What did you make? Mmm I love Indian food.

Alana- Big problem there...the only thing I can't do, is bake! Like seriously. I'm lucky not to burn downt he house when I do bake...my cakes are always nasty....burnt or whatever. LOL Poor DH. My FIL thinks I"m pathetic but at least I cook better meals then his wife does. I hate to say it, but I'm sick of my MIL's cooking. It's always the same thign every time and it all tastes the same. So sad. She's a really good cook though...just ordinary. anyways, I can't be a bad cook, he'll think I'm pregnant or something! lol. Cause when I was, I avoided the kitchen like the plague and cooked things out of boxes...and I don't want him thinking that. LOL Cause then he'll start asking.

Oh did I tell y'all, that I did get a temp spike and I'm hoping it wasn't from all my crying last night but because I'm lating in ovulating? i can't remember who I tell what to anymore...sorry if I'm repeating myself. I feel somewhat hopeful...so that's something, btu still of course very negative.

Susan, today I received my huge order of indian food that I ordered from Tastybite.com. I got it because DD was loving the gross looking spinach ones I was getting and now that the huge box arrived she won't so much as taste it. Guess I'll be eating a lot of spicey foods. Also got some of the Thai curry ones so hope they're not gross. I ordered $50 worth so I could get free shipping and then had a 30% coupon. Should last a few months and will stink out the office with the strange concoctions.

Also, we eat before DH gets home because his never truly knows how late he'll be. Fridays he works until 10PM so no way I'm waiting on that night, and on weekends he's usually home after 7PM. Again, too late and if I waited, he come home to a ravenous angry wife with no capacity to be rational. Sometimes I feel bad that there's not a nice hearty meal wanting for him, but the times I have cooked something, I almost see an "oh no" in his eyes. I'm not the best cook, and he'd rather throw something tasty together himself. Well, at least I get his clothes ready so he just needs to jump into them in the mornings. Sometimes.

Lol...thats the look I get. Seriously, my DH loves to cook and prefers too. That way, in his mind anyway, he doesn't have to do ANYTHING else! Although, I have never ironed for him and I absolutely refuse to start. My mother slaved away over an iron for the better part of her life...theres no way I'm getting into that...its just too depressing.

April- How long will you be in the hospital?
BTW- I was going to bed b/c I have a killer headache and got no sleep last night worrying about this u/s.

Has anyone looke at the the news today on cnn or nytimes? Some psycho father threw his four small children over a bridge in Alabama into the Intracoastal.
They were like 4 mos, 1 y/o 2 y/o and 3 y/o. OMG I cannot image what drives people to do this.

Then some other lady was hiding four dead children in her house.
What is happening? Between the strage weather and the sick people I think the world is turning against itself. Sorry I am having and existential moment.

holy crap! I am actually at work- done a half hour ago, but been sitting at my desk trying to catch up!

Now you will just have to wait until I get home. I was waiting for the traffic to die down anyway. You know those 3 mile drives to and from work and be very nerve wracking when sitting in traffic

see you in about 15 minutes...
