heidi, i think it's a combonation of both of those. around my due date i was pretty emotional. add the hormones and yuckiness of birth control pills and it's bound to just make those feelings even stronger. sorry hun. it is a hard time...we're here for you, so if you need to talk about it, we'll listen.

Thanks Amy. I think I feel conflicted right now. I still feel messed up about the miscarriage, guilty I can't give DD a sibling, wondering if I'm mad putting my family through this tense time with another IVF with an unknown result, like I'm not being a good mother by not focusing on the one I have because I'm putting energy into something I don't have and have no control over. I generally feel like someone I don't like very much right now. Uptight, high strung, emotional, weak, obsessed and unfocused. What a stink-soup of emotions.

Heidi, I really think that this is a part of the "mental game" of doing ivf. it's funny that you posted this, because I've been sitting here at the computer thinking the same thoughts. I think I am getting overwhelmed this week. Work has been really busy and there is so much on my mind. Part of me thanks God that Dh and I are able to do ivf and part of me still can't believe that it has come to this. I think this weekend I am going to try and brainstorm something that will help me beat the mental part of this cycle. I got my calendar and couldn't believe the amount of work I am going to miss. I still haven't sat down with my principal to tell him that I will be out 7 mornings within 2 weeks. And when you are a teacher it is so stressful to plan your classes for a sub. AGHHH!!! I am being such a Negative Nancy, I hate it. Gotta think of some way to kick the negativity to the curb. Let's blame the BCP's!!!

I'm just really glad that I have a cycle buddy here!

HI girls. Boy do I miss you all. This week is our inspection, finally it will be over soon. I'm home now trying to figure out somethin for dinner. I was going to run to the store but, I'm in sweats and so don't feel like it anymore. Now I'm watching some morgue show on TLC, nuts.

Dang, Alana and Shawna if it weren't for this inspection I'd be right there with you on your daily chats. Stupid work. I've skimmed the pages for the most part but still may be a little out of the loop on status.

Shawna great u/s today! Yippee. Sorry about the 830 "morning sickness" but I think I may be right there with you. Every night this week at 8pm I'm spent, I feel horrible and nausea. Then I just go to sleep and it is all over. Like you, I'm happy and love it because it lets me know something is going on in there still.

Amy and Heidi I'm thinking of you right now. I so know where you are, RUT's stink in my opinion. We are all here for you no matter what, the good and the bad. Hope you feel better soon. Both of your IVF's are going to be great. And you've got the best cheerleaders on your team ever!

Heidi- Coming up on yoru due date is hell. I'm coming up on my second. And it's rough, it's beyond rough. We can only hope that we no longer have to suffer through another more fertility treatments. You have every right ot want a sibling for your daughter and you do what you need to do, to be able to do so. We're here for you no matter what!
