Shawna- I feed my dogs human grade food, it costs me about $160/month for two gos which I guess is not bad. It's actually pretty much the same price as crap dog food!

Thanks for the bump picture comments. Dh just thinks I look the same, which I take as an insult that I had a giant gut before!

I am going to eat some cold sesame noodles that I made!
Yum!

Susan you look great...you have the cutest bump, you look all baby bump...not fat. So give that contractor a kick from me!!

So my hot-tub is finally here, but alas they can't hook it up until the weekend. Something to do with the electrics and levelling out the concrete further. I'm very annoyed...I was planning on never leaving it once we had it here. Shawna, I did ask my RE about using the hot-tub while TTC and she said fine, just not in the 2ww like yours did, but she also said my DH is fine to use it anytime as he has terrible counts anyway that can't be made worse. Which is kinda funny, I'm actually here celebrating the fact my DH has bad counts!! lol. Thankfully though whenever we do IUI they whip them back into shape and his swimmers haven't been too terrible. Hey, they seem to do the job on occasion!

Ugh...my throat is still killing me...I don't think this is ever going to go away. So I'm going to go pour a glass of wine and relax watching some TV. I'll have a sip or two for you Susan.

Oh, and my female dog cost me $550 today because of her little incontinence problem. Turns out she has a UTI. Ouch...I hate those so I'm glad I took her in...poor little thing.

OMG- I am so jealous of your hot tub AND the glass of wine you are having!
Pretty soon you will be drinking that IN the hot tub. But make sure you have plenty of cold water next to you to drink so you don't get super dehydrated!!!

Lol...I've learnt that trick the hard way Susan. I remember getting quite hammered one time in a hot tub after far too much bubbly and no water. I didn't realize how drunk and dehydrated I really was until I FELL out of the tub onto the very cold floor. Not a pretty sight I can tell you!

Oh, and its a NZ wine I'm sipping here...very yummy.

I'll check back on later to see if Mel popped by to update on April.

Hi Amy

Susan! I was SO showing at 9 weeks... that was my baby bump picture from my sister's wedding... and now it's just ba-BAM, out there... I just can't hide it. And now it's big enough where people who don't know officially can make a pretty good assumption.

And yes, IVF patients do get a head start in the showing department... I don't know about you, but I still have lots and lots of juicy follicles/cysts around 4 cm. They make things puffier in there anyways.

as it is, at nine weeks, especially for little miss tiny over there, (yeah, I'm talking about petite Susie over there), skinny ladies tend to look more pregnant than fat... fluffy women, like myself, tend to look more fat than pregnant.

Although, I must brag... the sonographer had to weigh me for my last u/s and her chin dropped the floor when she saw how much I weighed (which kind of made me a little blue in a way, I guess) and she said, I wouldn't have guessed you weighed more than 140... so, I guess that means I wear it well?? *sigh* Guess those pound-watchin days are pretty much over.

I seriously think I could fall asleep at my desk right now. I’m daydreaming about my bed, awww. We just found out that we need to all come into work 30 minutes early tomorrow, poop. I love my sleep. I guess I’ve got to just go to sleep earlier.

Susan, where can I get whatever it is you put on your tush after your pio? I think it was a moist heat pack; the heating pad just isn’t doing the trick any longer. I so need it, the lumps are back with a vengeance.

April we are thinking of you, hope all is well. Mel we are paitently awaiting an update. Hugs!

I have gained thrity IVF pounds in two years.
I was a pole before I started this. I don't look so hot from the front...

I have gained about four pounds. I think I am only supposed to gain three after 12 weeks!
I need to start walking...

Devan- Do you have like a TJ Maxx or Marshalls dept store around you? That is where I got mine. Hmmm. Maybe at some sort of Wellness place?
It works wonders. No bumps yet, no bruises. It's amazing. DH hits the occasional nerve(this time I mean it in the literal sense ) but the pain usually goes away soon after...
Do you use Lido cream on it before? Have DH pull the skin really tight and then pinch together that area and jam it in on an angle like a dart!

I was using lido cream on it but I ran out. Can’t get anymore and now I’m using an ice pack to the numb the area and get frost bite at the same time. It is working except when we are all said and done, I can so feel the PIO and it just doesn’t want to travel throughout my butt. It feels as if is it all in that one lumpy spot. But I massage it and it still it stays. Hmm, I’ll have to check out TJ max and see if I can’t find something. You are lucky to not have bruising; Derrick is not giving my shots in the center of bruises, lovely. Glad I can’t feel it until after wards. J Are you doing PIO without numbing or anything? If so, you are brave women.

Shelly did you graduate from PIO? Looks like I've only got to go until 10 weeks. Not too long you could say?

I had DH call in lido cream for me. Also, are you warming the oil before you draw it up and then again just slightly before you inject? That helps to get the oil moving through the tisse and eliminate bumps! The oil is just sitting there in the injection site. Definitely warm it up a little bit and that should do the trick.

I stopped taking it a little after 9 weeks... we ran out and didn't think ordering more for one more week was really necessary... so we just stopped.

My RE said I can actually start weaning off the PIO now if I want to. I will probably start to decrease my dose over the next few days and then just stop. I did just get two more vials though... I may still have one left over, oh well. I can't wait to stop it!
