Lots of pizza going on over here. So I guess peeing my pants is something that i need to get used too...
Lovely!

On a more painful note. I was petting Riley and she did the strangest thing. Reached out and bit my nipple through my shirt as hard as she could.
Jo? Any thought on this? She does not usually bite, just love nibbles while playing. It friggin hurt!
I screamed and then hit her. I could not help it. It was so painful. Dh just sat there and yelled at me fro screaming, then I screamed at him and he said, "Let's see it!"
So I just ate my second dinner, leftover eggplant parm and now I am sulking with ice on my nipple.

Your all welcome on the April update. I was not even expecting her to text! I am glad she is doing well. She will probably be more sore tomorrow though when the anesthesia wears off and just the morphine is running. Go pain pump!!

Alana, did you hear that Sir Edmund Hillary died today.
For those that hadn't heard of him, he was a New Zealander and the first man to reach the top of Mt Everest and without all the breathing gadgets they use these days. He's kind of our local legend.

April is resting comfortably....

Hi FFF (Fabulous Fertility Friends)
This is Mel Saunders...April's girlfriend. I just wanted to write and tell you that she is doing well...resting comfortably. April went to the hospital at 6:30 this morning and went into surgery at 8:30. The surgery took about an hour and a half and then another hour for her to come out of her groggy state.
The doctor was able to take out 3 fibroids (one was the big one we had been concerned about, one was very tiny). She had minimal blood loss and the doctor did a great job in keeping her incision small (he went in abdominally). So now the hard part for April will be the next two weeks...moving around and trying to ignore the uncomfortableness.
She wanted to make sure you all knew how much she appreciated your thoughts and good wishes. Also, a special thank you to Jen for her necklace. She LOVED it ....it really is beautiful.
Will write again tomorrow after I see her and fill you all in on the details...

Best wishes,

Mel
