I love the sprees story. I just read DH yours and Rachaels replies and guess what? DH knew what babydoll was!?!?

He is a great man. When my friend and I go shopping, he will sometimes come along and hold both of our items. And, although he did watch some of the football game earlier, he is now watching Lord of the Rings on TNT. That is, of course, after making our rootbeer floats. I guess I am a bit spoiled here.

I don't know why this site keeps maknig me post 2 or 3 times!!!

I am going to look at Aiden's room now...

Night Susan. The only way I had success was just to start doing the wardrobe shopping for DH. And, to tell him everytime he wears anything I buy just how good he looks. I started slowly... flat front khakis. Still haven't been able to talk him into cordoruys yet....

Jen - I still don't think my DH understands what a babydoll is even after I returned it with a huge frown. Oh, and it was sheer and a clingy one. At least give me some room to breathe in there and not be all popping out!

I'm headed to bed too! Long day tomorrow with a closing (hopefully). Thinking positive thoughts but it's going to be an agonizing closing I can tell. Plus, my buyer is one sandwich short of a picnic as we say down South! She showed up to her final inspection today in scrub bottoms, a white tiny tank top, and no bra. I really hope she dresses a little more appropriate for tomorrow... I'll report back!

I love the room with that bay window!!! So cute! I can't wait to see pics when it is done.

Good luck with your buyer tomorrow. Sounds like she is a card short of a full deck! The elevator doesn't go up to the top. An egg short of a dozen.

Sunny, I know the bills suck. I just keep my focus on the end goal.

Alana I just KNEW it would be!!!

I know what you mean goob. I have not been motivated at all to exercise. I decided I like the extra 5 lbs. okay, not really, but I like it better than the idea of the work involved in taking it off! Goob I was laughing out loud when I read about your DH and his 'sprees'!

Ronni, yeah for the end of bcps and the beginning of stims. I am so excited with all the action around here. I will pray for bif fat follies!!!

Rachel, I agree. The ins. thing is quite overwhelming. I see no end to it. I gave up trying to figure it out.

Jen, your DH definitely sounds ideal. Though mine is a keeper too.

Good morning ladies. Thought I'd drop in quickly before I head off to work. I'm glad to hear you are all doing well. I'm excited Jen to watch this 2ww with you...my guess is we'll be reading about your crazy poas adventures any day now. Rachael, did you post a picture of your nursery and I missed it? I must have read a post wrong...I'll have to go back later and see what I was reading.

Ronni...yay for your baseline u/s! Guess that means this cycle is really on its way. We will see a tonne of BFP's in no time.

Heidi, Brenna, Susan, thanks for the cheers girls. My beta is tomorrow (tues) and I guess that will be the official result. The lines are still not that dark overall, not compared to my last pregnancy anyway. But considering how well that went I guess anything different is a good thing!

Anyway, DH has arrived to drive me to work. I'll post again in evening and see what you have all been up to.

Morning ladies. I do need a cup of coffee and this board in order to get going in the morning. I am having a lazy day today, not much structure these days until next week when school starts again full time. I spend an hour commuting to school each way, sometimes an hour and a hlf on the way home in traffic, then three hours there. The rest of my day is spent at the coffee shop helping mom, then home to do my studies. DH is never home before 7pm, so needless to say we don't eat together that often. I love, love, love to cook. I got up this morning and made a yummy pureed, cream of chicken and mushroom soup. I will serve it tonight in a sourdough bread bowl with a salad. Easy enough. I am sure DH will complain. He has to eat rice with every meal(it's an Asian thing). He eats it for breakfast and lunch and his waistline is still smaller than mine!

Ok, i am off to find something to do in my last week of freedom. Maybe a good beach day today. I am so bored!!!!

Susan, Lucky you to be bored! Reading your post makes me miss school. I was looking at the adult ed book last night. I really do miss it. I llove learning now that I do not need too!
I too, need my cup of joe and this bored before I get moving. Today is my turn to go get my 93yr old neighbor up and fed. She really is sweet. I usually like to, but with my MIL staying with me and no DH, it has been challenging to take care of both. It has been interesting being a caregiver for her. We did find someone to help most days though.
So off I go...........

Grits,
You are a saint for what you are doing, especially the MIL thing. My MIL is not allaowed to stay in this house. She is an absolute nightmare.
I do love school as well. I feel that I just need to keep learning. I like being well rounded.
It keeps me distracted during all of the IF stuff.
I need more coffee.

I miss school too. Since my company has this education thing where they pay for your classes/books I was looking into doing an MBA. I would like to take a night law degree, but I haven't found one around here.

Well, I SHOULD drag my butt into work. Once I settle in, I will go to the coffee shop in our complex and grab a decaf.

Guess everyone is off to work. I'm getting ready for my closing over here.

Susan - I could definitely go for an ice coffee and beach day. I hope you have fun enjoying your last week of freedom! And, your dinner sounds delicious too. I love soup bread bowls.

Alana - One more day... and don't worry about the color of the line. A line is a line like Shakespeare would say! Oh, and I did post a picture of the nursery in the Janurary thread. DH worked really hard at painting what was a black room in our house all last week.

Jen - So when do your poasing addictions start up?

I have to say I must be the only one that doesn't miss school! I had to go back last year to take a special course for my real estate exam and I was miserable. Just can't stand being in a classroom all day anymore.

Talk to ya'll tonight!

Wow - everyone's been busy on here this morning!

Rachael - Hope your closing goes well. DH is a mortgage banker (sub-prime) so I understand your stress and frustration. I'm sure you can understand the stress at our house these days given the state of the sub-prime industry. His income is about $0 these days and each day brings worse news and tighter restrictions. There's really no such thing as sub-prime any more - even for the honest, diligent lender/borrower. DH is having to do some soul searching about what he wants to be when he grows up. Not an easy thing at 40 years old!

Grits - I'll be thinking of you taking your Lupron on Saturday as I take my Repronex and Follistim! Misery loves company...but I'm so excited to get underway again. My meds arrived Thursday but they failed to send all my Follistim (only sent enough for 1 injection), they sent the wrong sized needles for the Reronex (22 gauge and 1 1/2 inches? For a sub-q injection? Do they think I'm an elephant?!) and they didn't send a sharps container. I've been on the phone with them daily since Thursday and I REALLY lost it on the phone with the poor guy this morning. I laid the most horrible guilt trip on him and told him that he's' screwing with people's health and lives - not just fulfilling an order of sausage and cheese for Hickory Farms or something! I felt so bad I had to call him back and apologize and then I called his supervisor to let him know that poor Charlie really was a good guy but that the company needed to get their act together - especially when dealing with IF patients. Ugh. I'm such a hag - 2 more nights of BCP. I think it's awesome what you're doing for your neighbor. My grandfather is 90 and we moved him down to a nursing home here from New York so we could help care for him and spoil him as much as possible. He's a grumpy old coot but he loves to flirt with the nurses and always smiles when I bring him his favorite foods. I don't know if anyone will ever love me as much as he does. I'm his baby's baby and he constantly reminds me of that and how much he loves me. I always think about what it would be like for him if there weren't people around who really cared for him and it just breaks my heart. You're doing a great thing for your neighbor - don't ever forget that!!

Alana - Can't wait to hear that healthy beta number tomorrow! I hope you're able to relax just a little and enjoy being pregnant! We all hope to join you very soon!!!

Jen - Good luck with the RSV work today. I'm fascinated by the work you describe. But - I have to admit - I'm even more fascinated by your husband's ability to go shopping with you. Definitely NOT my DHs idea of a good time. Not even his idea of a "tolerable" time. That's okay though - I'm not sure I would enjoy it as much with him tagging along. I like to shop alone - don't even go with girlfriends much.

Susan - Enjoy your "down time" before school starts back up! I'll gladly scarf down a bread bowl of your homemade soup if your DH complains! Just send it down here!!! I have always thought that one of the keys to a good marriage is liking similar foods. My least favorite part of every day is the "What's for dinner" discussion. We don't like the same stuff and I have an hour commute to get home every day so it's typically a small battle each evening. Fortunately, I'm not too picky so I'll just cave in and have whatever he wants.

Wow - Sorry for the long post!

Well, I did not make it to the beach and apparently I did not have enough coffee because I got a major migraine while walking the dogs at the park (wow, that's a long sentence). I just gulped down a huge Kenya french roast from the Coffee Exchange and now I feel better. Still not motivated to do much though.

Ronni, I actually just checked and all of my needles for sub-q were 27-29 gauge and 1/2 inch. They are trying to kill you!!!! Ouch. I have an entire box here if you want them. DH "borrowed" them from the hospital along with an industrial size sharps container and other supplies!

Well, I am going to ponder about what to do. I am trying not to go shopping as DH will kill me. I have shopped a bit too much this month...
