I just heard my baby's heartbeat for the very first time! I got my doppler today, so I have heard it before the doctors have even done it on me!!!
It was so precious.
I can't figure out the recorder though. Rachael???

Shelly- Did you happen to look at your sister’s “husband” like he was fricken mad for making HER sleep on the floor! I probably would have grabbed that kid by his ear and chucked him from my apartment. I hate to say it, but that kid, is a moron. L I mean sure I laughed, but come on….my DH would never let me sleep on the floor while he slept on the couch, pregnant or not.

Shelly I think you should get your sister one of those fancy air mattresses and tell her DH (not meaning dear) that he is not allowed to sleep on it!! What an a**. But he is like 16 so I am sure everything is about him! That is so cool about you graduation I am so excited for you. So many wonderful things are happening for you!

Yeah Jen on the great Follie, this is it I can feel it. Tell Walts little guys how important the next few days are. I did that for our IVF and look at how great they did!!

Susan I have no idea how far I am, I'm guessing 6 wks. I get so confused with that stuff. I can't figure out how to calculate because it was an FET. Can you help? I'm hoping at my u/s my RE can tell me how far we are.

Oh My I just read about your doppler, how exciting. I didn't think an u/s could be heard on the belly so early. Yeah for you. If you figure out the record thing, we'd love to hear and you could post on F/B.

I did that one and it said 6 wks 3 days, due 2 Sept. That was with cleaved embryos and I have no clue what that is. It said that if I had FET then I should enter my last period or ovulation ... well, hmm I didn't have either so I have no clue. Sticking with 6 wks though, sounds about right. *shoulder shrug* I want to start a ticker, but I'll wait until my u/s appt. I'm anxious. Did you see the h/b the first time?

Devan- If you believe you're six weeks-ish...you're gonna see the heart beat(s). It starts to beat somewhere in teh five week mark.

Devan- after your initial ER, how many days after that were the embryos frozen? You take this number and subtract that amount of days from your FET, this will give you the "ovulation date", then you can enter that into those calulators and it should give you the date.
I saw the flicker of a HB on 5w6d. I know how anxious you are. It's going to be so cool for you.

Okay so that way it says 6w4d so my u/s will be exactly 7w. How fun! I'm sure we will see a flicker then, if not hear it?

I thought about getting a doppler but I think if i even bring it up, Derrick will laugh. He will say that I need to relax and let things happen the way they are supposed to. Guys, Ugh.

Devan- Don't panick if you cannot see the heartbeat for the first u/s. My RE was actually surprised to see it at 5w6d. Everything is so small that you can't see ANYTHING!
The heart is developed at week 5 but really does not start beating until week 6. Some people have to go back in a week to re-check.

I am sure you will see it at week 7! My RE does not like to use the sound on the trans vag probe b/c she said it is too high of a frequency and can affect the baby so we opted not to hear it until we go to the OB. BUT the little on the tummy dopplers that the docs use and the ones that we can rent are very low freq and totally safe(so far)

Devan - if you are thinking about getting a doppler, let me know... i am more than willing to "rent" you mine (don't see us using it again anytime soon)... we haven't used it all that much, so it's in a very good shape, clean and all... just let me know...
