alana, i'm not giving up yet. either way, we are here for you. i'm keeping you in my prayers!

thanks for the advice. you are right, it's just frustrating. i do care about her, but to me a true friendship doesn't entail walking on eggshells around each other. you know? but i guess if she did open up and tell me what the deal is, we could figure things out. like when she said we can talk about it tomorrow, i was thinking "talk about what???" that may sound rude, it just seems silly and catty and i try to avoid those things these days.

how is everyone else? what's for dinner tonight? we may order pizza. i've been cooking alot lately and i am not in the mood tonight.

Rachel, I almost forgot again. Fennel is the herb used for treating low milk supply that has the best record of success.

Rachael- congratulations to you and DH!!!! That new job sounds great! Glad you are getting more rest too

Alana-what CD are you now? Or how long ago did you ovulate? I am not giving up and am going to work this out logically.

Amy-your friend is a hard one. I would definitely talk to her about what is going on. It would suck to have to put boundaries on a close friendship like that. Maybe she doesn't realize what she is doing? I hope you guys can work something out tomorrow...

Susan-sorry about your ob/gyn appt. No one can make you do testing that you don't want done. What a jerk of a nurse!

It is about 15 F outside. It rarely gets that cold here. Shawna and Alana, I don't know how you do it in Canada! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. When the sun was out it wasn't too bad for a few minutes with a nice warm jacket, but my face froze!

Went to give my blood for the HLA matching today. They tapped my good vein in my left arm above all the scar tissue (where I have had numerous idiotic techs draw from that vein for various IF testing), but it dried up so they had to tap the other arm. Ouchie...

Is it weird to start collecting Beanie Babies when you are 35 and it's 2008? I've been telling myself that they're DD's, but who am I kidding? Also, I watch American Idol.

Amy, could it be a slight misunderstanding? Could she have read something into your comments, and took it as an insult? Otherwise she does sound a tad touchy. I wouldn't know though, I'm pretty non-committal with friends and find myself drifting whent they get too close. A little lonely sometimes. I don't get myself . It's totally hereditary or learned behavior from my mother.

Rachael, so glad your DH got the new job? How exciting, and so helpful to have some extra $$ to pay off things or invest.

Susan, there's nothing worse than medical staff treating you poorly. When I went in for my medical workup for the trial study, everything had to be precise or I wouldn't quality. Well they gave me a trainee nurse and she did everything wrong. Wrong, height, weight and blood pressure, etc... I usually have no problems at all with trainees, they need to learn somehow, but for this, I was a bit PO'd. I could have missed out on the study if the trial nurse hadn't gone back and done everything over.

Alana, hope you get some answers soon. Really hope it's not ectopic and hope they are closely monitoring you.

Shelly, glad your appointment went well.

Shelly...glad the OB appt. went well and can't wait till you get the "anatomical survey" done!

Alana...I'm so sorry this is happening. I really hope you get some answers soon. Hang in there!

Amy..That's too bad about the problem with your friend. I agree with the advice you've already been given..talk to her and see what she has to say. Good luck!

Susan..Bummer about your 1st OB appt. What is it with those people? I can't stand it when Dr's and/or their staff act like we have to do whatever they say..and if we don't they act like we are dummies or something. Hello..it's our bodies. And of course I didn't take offense!

Jen..Try and stay warm over there!

I'm waiting for Mel to get home..She promised to take some friends to Disneyland today..so she's been hanging out with Mickey Mouse all day. I'm getting better every day..still a bit sore..but that's to be expected. Tomorrow I am going out to lunch with a friend..so I have that to look forward to..I'm starting to get pretty bored.

Shelly-glad your ob appt went well! So with the anatomical survey, will you find out the gender? If not, can you have your Dr PM all of us the info

April-why didn't you go to Disney? Granted, Land is nowhere as cool as World (not that I have ever been to Land), but Mel could have pushed you in a wheelchair and you could have gotten on rides w/o waiting in line!

but you could have napped during the wheelchair ride between the fun rides. I'm a big kid. I love Disney.

Heidi-yes, you are a bit strange (hello pot, kettle calling ), but we love you. And how could you ever be lonely with this great group of girls here? We love you Heidi!
