I left DH upstairs in the kitchen for 50 minutes and he has made a 4 course meal, including tilapia, scallops, lentil and potato soup, and some rice dish. I should leave him up there more.
He does keep muttering...crazy pregnant woman Susan...making me want scallops...$3.60... Yes, he is nuts

LMAO!!! Jen you have me in complete hysterics here!! I wish I could show this to my RE, I wonder what she would say.
Anyway, I'm really glad to have you girls here cheering this touch and go pregnancy on. I'm definately not going to doubt your calculations there Jen, you are too smart to get that stuff wrong. I think my RE is just very concerned its seems to be slowing down. My other m/c's did the same thing. But hey, I'm all for lots of cheering and yelling. I won't promise the hot-tub though...but I'll hold off until I know Fridays numbers okay?  By the way, how do you work out those percentage amounts??Shawna...did you ever poas? I can't remember, somebody mentioned the word 'bills' and my head fogged over in numbness. I HATE bills.

Jen..I am watching Nat. Geographic's show Taboo and they are having a segment on pets..Right now they are showing a lady with her iguana in the cart being wheeled around Petsmart. The iguana is dressed up in a little outfit.

Heidi - My mom collected beanie babies for years and had them on display in her den. We finally convinced her to at least pack them up - and she's about to be 60!

Amy - Your work friend sounds a lot like my sil. We all have to walk on eggshells around her and it gets old fast. You just never know what you can and can't say. I can't even pick out a humorous b-day card for her w/o being afraid. I'm with you - a friendship just shouldn't be that much work. April - Hope Mel said hi to Mickey for all of us! Brenna - Thanks for the fennel suggestion. I guess it comes in a vitamin form? My ob called in a prescription for me today so I'm going to give that a try too. It's only for 7 days just to jumpstart me. DH and I had a nice date night. Dh picked the restaurant (wasn't my favorite...) but it was nice to be just the two of us without worrying about rushing through a meal to beat out Aiden waking up. He was on his best behavior for my Mom! She just holds him the entire time and he sleeps away. It's still sleeting over here so Atlanta is in chaos. It's all Winter Weather watch on the news and the schools are all annoucing closures. See everyone in the morning...

Rach-I am glad you and DH had a good dinner together. If I send my DH over, I am sending Jake as well. He was going nuts with all that fish being cooked in the kitchen. He kept jumping into a chair whenever one of us got up for something. Little booger. So remember Monday night when I had that crappy experience at Cold Stones (they wouldn't take my gift card-said there wasn't anything on it or it wasn't activated), well I just went on line and there is $20 on it and it is activated. So I sent customer service a email about how this sucked. I wouldn't go to Cold Stones if I didn't have a card and paying $8.85 for ice cream that really isn't that good is just nuts! I was hoping to use this card up in 2 trips. I feel better giving them a piece of my mind. So, just so you girls don't think I am completely useless, I cleaned up the total disaster in the kitchen myself. DH used every freakin' pot and pan in the house (and that is a LOT of pots and pans!). I just emptied the dishwasher this AM, and now it is full and running again. And there is just 2 of us!!! Now he is paying the bills and is happy as a clam.

Alana- I did POAS this morning, after my temp jumped from 36.75 C to 36.87 C. I figured that had to mean something...it just meant another negative test, but I'm not giving up!
 Not by any means. I'm only 8DPO and I usually end up testing positive a bit later because of my longer cycles. However, I'm not giving up. I'll probably POAS again tomorrow morning! (Depending on my temps too)

What the heck kind of scallops can you buy at $3.60???
He must have bought bay scallops not sea scallops... That is super cheap. Tell him he bought the wrong ones. They are usually $14.00 a pound. Did he only buy two?? Tell him I will email him a picture of what a scallop is supposed to look like Quote:

They were sea scallops, and he only bought 3 and he wouldn't let me eat them.
DH says: Listen condesending east coaster, I know what sea scallops are even though I don't live near the Atlantic Ocean. Thanks to you I had to go and buy my own here because no DHL package came in the mail. Jen says: what a . But I gotta love him!
