as for the ultrasounds I also would not miss one minute of being able to see our baby. The first time I had an ectopic, so I was so worried with this last pregnancy that it was also ectopic finding out that it was not was wonderful. We actually saw our baby 3 days before the miscarriage and the doctor was talking about how big the fetus was and how great everything was going. I have the pictures in a photo album but have not brought myself to look at them since we saw the ultrasound with no heart beat. With all of that said I still would want to see the baby no matter what the out come. The first time with the ectopic my DH kept saying it was not real because we did not see the baby (I still feel that it was) this time we saw the baby so he could not say that.

I hope we can stay on this posting I really enjoy it and I do no think that it will be bad for people who just had one because they can read it and find some comfort in the fact that one can move on after a miscarriage.

Well said Martie!!!

Ronni- I have everything for your sono tomorrow! Can't wait til you get to poke yourself again! Yay!!! I love that you have a end of BCP dance. We have a dance- I will only tell this to my girls here, but it is called the Poo dance. Yes, I have been constipated 1 or 2 (or a thousand) times in my life. The first time with DH I was so miserable that he came up with a little dance for me. And what do you know? It worked! So now I have to invoke the Poo dance when necessary. Maybe it is like that NZ dance you were talking about last week Susan? Actually, it kinda looks like this -->

Did I mention that DH is ticking me off cause he was at work late (on his way home now) cause his protein was eluting slowly off his column (I know that means nothing to you all) and I am starving for some tacos!!!!

His protein was eluting slowly off his column?!? That sounds like a personal problem to me. It's probably best that it's happening at work so you don't have to clean up whatever mess that makes.

tee hee - giggle snort

You have a poo dance?! We have Pookie songs! But it's has nothing to do with bowel movements. Pookie is a pet name for eachother and we make up songs with the work Pookie in it. I know...it's disgustingly sweet. Even I get cavities when I think about it.

Jen, my husband is a chemist and talks all that important talk that makes no since to me. He works at Abbott in the Ross products division, they test all kinds of baby formula (which is great when we do have a baby because he gets a great discount, not free but about 1/2) he is always talking about tests he has to do to make sure the formula is within specs. I try to understand but I really cannot.

So it's all agreed - WE ARE ALL STAYING PUT!!

We haven't exactly held the thread hostage so we'll just consider this our own little forum for all of our buddies. Oh, and while we're on the subject, whenever I log onto the pregnancy loss group, I hate Jen that the thread after ours is about you venting about DH. We all know what a wonderful DH you have but no one else has posted over there to move your post out of the limelight. Can we fix that?? I feel sorry for your DH...

Well just met with my client, wrote up a contract for the condo I showed him today, and faxed it over. Fingers crossed. I am behaving. I was on my feet for 5 hours today but that included me going to the grocery store so I didn't starve. The buyer works for my hubby so he came over to our house tonight to sign all the paperwork.

Shelly & Heidi - I'm sorry for mixing up the FIL stories... See that's what happens when you take Sudafed and read several pages of posts without your handy notepad beside you!

Heidi - I love the story of the feet charm. Awww... I have dreams about my hubby actually listening to my little hints one of these days! What a great surprise. And, it could always represent all the little feet in your life. We love hearing dd stories so keep them coming!

Shawna - I think it's very sweet what you did with your u/s. It's a nice reminder that all these treatments do work and will be good encouragement when you and DH are ready to try again.

Jen - Ok, I'll stop bugging you about POAS. But, I do like the sore bb's and taco cravings! My DH is working late tonight too and I cooked an entire whole chicken with rosemary and apples in some moment of starving on my part earlier.

Ronni - I hope I don't see you on To Catch a Predator! I don't think anyone is going to be hitting on me and my tummy anytime soon either! Yay for the bcp dance and for DH complimenting you on your well behaved emotions during this hormonally imbalanced trial. I can't wait to hear about your u/s tomorrow. Lots of fingers crossed!

Hi Girls,
i am just feeling boring and lazy. Please forgive me for not contributing tonight and not corresponding. I feel like I am blah...

I am enjoying reading all of your wonderfully funny posts. I am in good company with you all. I feel like you are my soul sisters

I will say one thing. I got 'A Few Good Eggs" in the mail today(I wish I meant the real ones, but I mean the book). It is fabulous so far. It is brand new and I found it on Amazon for $1.00.

Susan- I have that book waiting for me too...just got to finish up with Harry Potter and his fight to save the wizarding world! LOL. I'm thinking I'm onto that one next...I really should read the PCOS diet book I've got but I can't get my head wrapped around it...anyone got any suggestions?

And hey Ladies, if we ever want to move, we'll move our butts into the IF support forum and have a "Group" support thread there for us!! That's how I forsee getting around that.

I honestly don't fit into any forums as of now, but some day I will...but I don't want to ever get away from you ladies. I want to chat with you and watch you all get PG and have your babies and I hope I can join you all too, very soon.....No matter what anyone says, we've had terriable losses in our lives and those losses will stick with us forever, so we have just as much right to be in this forum as anyone...

Loving all the stories...y'all are bringing me out of my funk from the last couple of days...thank you!!

Rachael- problem solved. But if you actually read my post (yes, I didn't like seeing my name under that thread) I was just responding to meremere who posted that thread. I wasn't complaining about my wonderful DH, who even though did come home late, took me for tacos!!!

Ronni-too funny. But I will let you know that he got a lot of protein from his prep so he was happy

Martie-Abbot in Chicago? My DH and I are both chemists from undergrad. In grad DH was in the chemistry dept and I was in the Molecular Biology dept but we both wound up doing x-ray crystallography (protein biochemistry).

Susan- I gotta get that book. I have a $25 gift cert. for Barnes and Noble- wonder if they have it there. If not, I will order it on Amazon.

Shawna-that picture was so sweet. I am glad that it brings you happiness. Let me know what you think about HP. I am done with the book. I have read the first 6 like 10+ times (the first 4 at least 15). I can't bring myself to read the 7th again... Yes, I reread all my books. I read very fast.

Funny you mention that Shawna- I am taping it tonight for my mom. She is a survivor. Although, she just had her 2 year bladder exam and they found small nodules in her bladder-too small to do anything yet, but she will have to have them removed. She is a 5 year survivor of colorectal cancer. Bladder cancer sucks, but it is one that can be treated by surgery. It does reoccur, but again, treatment is surgery. They may 'paint' chemo on her bladder to try to stop the reoccurance.

My wonderful Auntie fought and won the battle by accepting her death in 2003. Her determination and the Documentary's narrator is uplifting. My husband really enjoyed it as well, as his dad is a Lymphnode Cancer survivor.

Are you going to watch it as well Jen? It is simpley uplifting...a really good watch!!

If I can pry myself away from the computer. We normally tape Monk for mom on Fridays. I have Monk taped before this show, then will tape Monk this Friday. Usually we don't do much Friday night so I will probably watch the Monks and this show. It might be hard to get DH to watch (he thougth the title was kooky-he set up the VCR) but he will if I offer to rub his head. But if he makes me rub his feet you will owe me Shawna- it better be good!!! I am not a feet person. I don't like walking outside barefoot and I won't even put lotion on my feet- well, I won't rub it in with my hands. I put the lotion on my feet, then rub my feet together. Yes, I am crazy. we have established that. But I have a good reason. I have a foot cream that smells kinda gross (I am sure it smells normal to you, but I don't like scents on my hands). If I rub it in myself, then I have to get up and wash my hands. When I did that I got lotion all over my carpet. So I just did this method, then use a non scented hand lotion. Being me is sometimes quite difficult!!!
