Too funny- people are actually posting on that thread.
Alana, hun...second beta results today??? I am wishing you so much !!! I know they will be great So I heard that song 'One night in Bangkok' yesterday and all I want to do is have an opporunity to use the line "I get my kicks above the wasteline, sunshine!" to someone. I am going to do my best to fit it in my day. Maybe to one of my co-workers... Hope everyone has a great day today. I have 11 western blots calling my name so I am gonna haul outta here. Long day. Need to fit another taco in my day some how. Here is a giggle for you: So, since my first pg last August my boobs got ginormous! Same with my second and my ectopic. Unfortunately they have not gone down to my prepregnant (from August) size. But I made DH do a 'boob check' to see if they are getting bigger. Well, of course DH likes this chore. But this morning he was smiling and said my right boob was definitely larger than yesterday . I guess I can live with the girls being uneven. Maybe lefty will catch up...

Jen, my husband works in the Abbott in Sturgis, MI, not the one in Chicago. We have a friend who works at that one, he moved from the sturgis location. Abbott has a bunch of facilities around the country.
I like to read lots of books too. Sometimes when I am at the end of the book and I cannot wait to finish I will stay up at night til I finish (even when I have to work the next day) one time I was up til 3:00 in the morning trying to finish a book. Martie

THAT"S NOT LOW!!! It just means it was a later implantation... that's all. As for the in-laws? I can't complain about them... I love them. My mil is uninvolved, which is fine now... kind of hoping she'll put in efforts later when we finally DO have children... but for now, I appreciate her uninvolvement... of course, she's always talking about what I need to be eating and how I shouldn't use teflon coated pots and pans, etc... even bought us a really nice pots and pans set a couple weeks ago so we would stop using the teflon ones... she's funny that way... but that's how she shows she cares... and i dig that. My fil is so unfunny it's hilarious... he makes the corniest "humeisms" you've ever heard and laughs histerically when he makes a pun... he's the best dork in the whole world. He's just a great dad. My husband's mil, on the other hand... yeah... we won't go there. 80) But he loves her none the less.

Goodmorning Girls.
I am being soooo lazy. I woke up, brushed teeth, got coffee, and now I am back in bed drinking coffee, surfing, and watching T.V.......... It feels good! Yesterday was very busy I took Ms. Ruth (93yr old neighbor) to the hosp. for her epidural for her back......took all day, but she was a trooper! Rachel my MIL is easy. she stays in bed til noon (watching T.V.), doesn't eat all day, fixes her own food in the evening, and does not like to go anywhere. And she is very easy to get along with. Very low maintanance. I do wish she would get up and do more. It is weird having her here and hardly seeing her.......Yep, if I had not seen a hb, I would have been better off.......oh well...I would still want to know.......but I am going forward now! Goob, I am so excited to stick in needle in me anyone would think I was phsycho if they knew!! I am scared too though. I have kind of decided if this does not work this time we will not go any further.... I am not getting younger. We are blessed with two fabulous kids already.........I have prayed and prayed about it, and I feel like if God had wanted me to have more, he would give them to me. I know it sounds silly to some of you, but in a way sometimes praying over and over also helps you to figure out what direction to go in. So anyway.........I am scared it will not work, and I will not get to give my DH another child. He always wanted more, and I talked him into the big V..... So I will keep praying for my thaaw to go well and for it to work this time. Heidi, Alana, 90 is a great beta #! quit worrying...... So how about a 2nd #?I too have guilty thoughts for being here while I have two already. Jen you are so funny, I can always count on you to put a smile on my face! I think we are so excited to have you in the tww we are having more trouble with it than you! ![]() Shelly I am glad for you that your in-laws are good. It does make life easier.

Good Morning Ladies-
Jen- So did you watch the show? What did you think about it? Enjoy? Yes? No? LOL I'm full of questions. Almost finished HP...I think I'll finish up today this afternoon while my DH is at his first Police Interview !! Oh how I hope everything goes well, we can use one thing working out in our life!!! Alana- Here's hoping for beautiful fantastic ddoubling beta numbers!!! Can't wait to hear those gorgeous numbers!Brenna- I am hoping and keeping my fingers crossed that this cycle works for you!!! Good luck!!Rachel-Don't you hate it when you get that schedule all mixed up and then you're sitting there with extra food or whatever? I used to make DH meals when we were on the farm and it was pretty well that same way...he'd say expect me at this time...and he'd come home earlier or later...it was pretty annoying..lol.

Hey girls. Just got back from another long work day. Argh. I was jealous reading about your morning Brenna, I'm thinking of doing that tomorrow as I'm not in work. Anyway, I got back the second beta and it was 230. So thats good...isn't it?? The nurse seemed to be happy so I guess thats the first hurdle. Now I just have to sit tight for three weeks, maybe going in for one or two more betas over that time. The clinic said anymore than the two betas doesn't really tell them anything, only ultrasound can. So now I just sit tight and let nature do what it will do.
To be honest, I'm feeling a little more calm about all this now. I made some peace last night with everything, and realized this is completely and utterly out of my hands. Shawna, I have also kept my little ultrasound pic of the first bean, which I have stashed with the FR test I did that month. While I definately don't want to have anymore very early ultrasounds, this picture is still very important to me and I will keep it close forever. Your photo by the computer is a lovely idea and it brought tears to my eyes to see. Your little bean was very loved and I'm sure, in some way, they knew that. Anyway, Jen...your lopsided boob sounds very promising. BFP?? Me thinks so!! I can't wait for you to start the obsessive PIAC and telling us all the results. Susan, I was having a bit of a blah day today also. I think its the weather here though. We are definately feeling the end of summer...its just a vibe and everyone seems a little bit more cranky than usual. I am gonna miss the good weather...I don't like winter that much. Martie, I'm glad you don't think we should move either. I guess that makes a unanimous decision to all stay put for as long as we all shall live!! Brenna, how are those injections coming along? I'm such a wimp...no doing it myself here. DH has to...and hes not much better. He drew blood the last time. Ouch!! Rachael...whats this thread you and Jen have started? I hate work, I seem to miss so much. I still haven't seen your nursery pictures yet. Do you know what page on the duedate forum they are? Heidi, any more decisions made on the kiwi products? I was thinking about my days making pois as a kid. Did you ever make them? My sister actually sent me a belated b'day present filled with Tauranga memorabilia. (keychain, earrings, notepads etc). She said shes pretty much trying to brainwash me into going back there. Haha...not gonna happen for a while I'm afraid! But its sweet shes trying. Anyway, this was another long post. Don't worry though Jen, I won't apologize for it...I agree...we keep doing that and we shouldn't. I love reading everything you girls have to say. I'm going to go eat some Indian curry now. DH is british so its a favourite take-away food for him. I'll check back later to see how you all are. ![]()

Oh how I wish I was a 36C again!!! No, I didn't know about the websters thing. Kinda cool
Actually, I went from a 36C to a 36DD (although I can wear a 38D)!!! DD stands for Double ****!!! Yes, DH gets this huge smile on his face when he sees them. He does like to grope. But this is so cute... He knows how sore they are so he is now treating them with kid gloves. Still, back off the goods when they hurt!Alana- I saw you there...you must of posted after I started this. 230 is amazing!!!! More than doubled! I am so happy for you. Do you go for a 3rd beta? when is the u/s?Martie- reading until 4am is not uncommon for me. I did that 3 nights in a row to finish Harry Potter while I was in Boston for a conference last month. Needless to say, that was a rough conference and I didn't make many of those 8am meetings!!! Shawna- we discussed that show last night, late. No hun, I went to bed, then unlike Brenna (very jealous here) I went to work and slaved in the lab until a half hour ago. What a long day. I will try to watch it this weekend. Shelly- you are just such a happy go lucky person. I love your attitude. You are great. As for my FIL, he is great. He loves music and wine and when he comes here he and DH spend hours moving the speakers centimeters in each direction to find the best sound quality. It is hilarious. As for my MIL.... I have a 3 day limit before I start wanting to strangle her. But even with that, she did come for a week (gulp) to take care of me after my ectopic. That was very kind of her, but she still drove me nuts with pregnancy stories!!! But then she did clean the house. I can't complain, but I can cause she drove me nuts!!! Agggh! Brenna- was it decaf? I had tacos for lunch I am so addicted. We are going to have left over fish tonight...DH is working late again (last night though...he will be done with his protein prep!). I wonder if I can tell him the fish went bad and we need to go out for tacos again. Or I can make them here...Anyway, he told me he would take me to get some sleeper bras- okay, when I was pg I got a comfy bra that you can sleep in cause the girls got so big, ginormous as Websters would say, they were uncomfortable free style. Well, the girls haven't gotten that much smaller since June, and now they are hurting, so DH wants to treat me. Also, I think he is just doing whatever he can to pamper me. And we have buy 1 get 1 free sundae's at Baskin Robbins so he is going to pamper me that way too... Maybe I am babbling- I am so wiped. 11 westerns wore me out. I think I am going to take a short day tomorrow.

Alana,
Congratualtions! It more than doubled my dear! That is fantastic. Enjoy that Indian food. It is my absolute favorite food. I made stuffed peppers tonight with rice, mushrooms, garlic, tomato and a tiny bit of ground beef. Then I added some parmesean to it and broiled it until the tops got nice and crunchy from the cheese. It was yummy. DH wanted to make his own food tonight. It has to be Asian or he does not want to eat much of it. Ughhh... We also just had a fight about finances and taxes. ![]() Anyway, the main purpose of this post was to tell you how happy I am for you! You did it! ![]()

Alana - Great Great News!! I've been thinking of you all day! DH ordered me to a nap due to my sniffles but I couldn't wait to see your post tonight. I'm going to post more pics of the nursery tomorrow so I'll let you know what page. Our crib bedding just showed up today. Very fun.
Jen - I hear you on the bras. I swear I was a 34B for my wedding two years ago. Actually used a big time push up to get some cleavage in my strapless dress. Well, I bought 36D about 6 weeks ago and they are already too tight. Had to buy bra extenders which means I am up to a 38. I bought nightgowns with the built in bras to help out at night. Oh, and my leftie is definitely bigger. Susan - Sorry for the fight about finances tonight. That's usually an end of the month thing around here too. Managed to skip it this month. Grits - I swear I'm having your morning tomorrow. I could use a lazy morning. Alright, off to watch a movie with DH and then early to bed with my sniffles!
