I still have the odd kiwi lingo word pop out occasionally. Hubby laughs when I say "aye". My hair only looked like that because I had it cut the day that was taken. Otherwise, it's fuzzy and full, which play havoc on a bob!!

Susan, I haven't worn a bikini since I was 8, so you are already my hero, schnoz or no schnoz.

Heidi, I think I may have to give that bikini to my 11 year old neice! That was last year's Costa Rica trip. This year's trip- no bikini pics. I wore a lovely cover up over it the whole time. Oh, and you would never know I was baking in 90 degree weather. I am as pale as can be.

Alana- I agree with you. IF girls are hot!

I am hoping I will still be able to fit into my clothes due to all the clam chowder and 'Boston' food I have eaten in the past 4 days. hey, you gotta do something to keep yourself awake during those conference talks!

Okay, so I talked to Shelly tonight (cute photo!) and she thinks she can meet about 5:30pm. SO...

Let's just say 5:30pm at the Cheers in Faneuil Hall. Meet outside? I will try and have my flaming red hair down, but the humidity is attacking hard and it might have to go into a ponytail. I can't say what I will be wearing. Depends on the weather and wether I can get a sweatshirt beforehand. If not, I have a purple fleece that I have been wearing- who would have thought I would need warm clothes in Boston in July???? The only reason I have 2 pairs of pants is because I am at a conference- I haven't had the opportunity to wear my shorts yet!

If anyone is going to be late, can't find the others, whatever, call me.

Auburn, would love to see you there! Heidi-what a great photo. You do look like you could be a Sunny. And you look Irish.

The last time I wore a bikini I was in grad school-the year I met my DH. DH can really cook well so I gained 10 lbs that first year. I bounced around 5-10 lbs until last year when I bounced it up with IF treatments. My bikini is so embarassed it has now gone into permanent hiding-well, at least until I can get away from the clam chowder and back into the gym!
Oh yeah, DH asked if you girls were going to call him 'DH'. I told him, of course, and so will I!

Alana- can't ya catch a plane to Boston tomorrow?

Peachy-I was almost Rachael. I like that name. Hey, if Gweneth Paltrow could name her daughter Apple, you can name yours Peachy!!!

We have some real hotties on here!! Watch out Cheers tomorrow night! I think we've got every shade of hair color covered too. I hope you make DH squirm at least once during the night... brave man you've got there JenCat

Alana - Just you and me tomorrow night babe. My DH is half French so all of his friends call me Rochelle. His name is Laurend which no one gets right with the southern accents down here Poor guy. I'm doing good. Baby is staying active and I'm always spying on him with my heartbeat monitor. I'm still on my modified bedrest/restricted activities b/c of the placenta issues but I'm keeping my sanity.

JenCat - You're right. If Apple is a "normal" name then Peachy is much cuter! I had a boyfriend growing up whose mom's name was Twinkie. Now that's cruel...

Oh, and no bikini sightings here for a long time. Although I am getting desperate for a little sun on this pale skin....

Oh wow... bikinis... hmm. None for me, thanks.

Back in my even younger days (because, let's face it, I'm still a youngin') I would rock that suit... haha... I saw this bumper sticker... laughed my arse off... "When I was younger I used to skinny dip... now I just chunky dunk." Tee Hee.

Senior year in HS my darling father passed after many years battle with diabetes (He's in a better place now, for sure.)... well, I didn't take it all that well... in 6 years I'd gained about 60 lbs... heaviest I have been was 210 back in December... I decided that that was just not the life I wanted to lead... so, I joined weight watchers and six months later I'm down 40 lbs. WW saved my life in more ways than one. 20 lbs to go and I'll be as thin as I was in High School... woopah! I am determined that people will KNOW I'm pregnant and not just think I'm fat. 80) Cute-pregnant-chick-to-be right here. 80)

Peachy, it is just you and me hun. I hope they all managed to meet up okay and are having lots of drinks and fun on our behalf. In fact, I've poured myself a glass of wine to pretend I'm enjoying it all with them so I'll make sure to have a couple of sips for you too. (Jencat, if I didn't have to work and I had the money I would be on the first plane outta here!)

In the meantime...I guess we will just have to sit tight and wait for the goss/updates/pictures that we will hopefully get tomorrow. I can't wait to hear all about it. Don't forget about us girls!

Fantastic time... absolutely fantastic... just as soon as Jen's DH picked up my camera, though... the batteries died. (figures! I was busy wasting battery life gossiping about a pregnant coworker!) Anyways, I believe Jen got some pictures... but she'll show them.

I believe it would only be fair to have an "all call" posted for a date and time when all of us on here can meet... I've never been so happy to meet new people as I was tonight... kindered spirits... I tell ya.

Alright... well now that it's officially past bedtime... *sigh* I suppose I'll hit the hay. Adios! And thank you for a wonderful evening girls!

We need lots more gossip and pictures tomorrow! What kind of fun girlie things did you talk about and scare JenCat's DH with?? And, I expect to see bachlorettish photos tomorrow! Maybe no veils but we could use some fun feather boahs (sp?)!

Sorry I wasn't great company tonight Alana and Grits. DH was off from work so we did dinner and a movie. He drank wine... I stuck to my cranberry juice. Extra sips from all of you for my drinking memories!

I'm so glad everyone had a great time meeting up!

Actually, it was quite tame... had it been a weekend night, perhaps... but where I had to take that subway back, I'm all set with having my reaction time impaired. 80) And just for the record, Jen's DH kept up with the conversation just fine...

Hi guys, I'm at work, so can't stay long. Stupid work!!

I'll pop back later when I'm home, but just wanted to say I had a great time, you are both lovely and very smart ladies that's for sure!!! Jen's "DH" is the nicest guy and they definately seem like they are each other's best friends. So sweet.

There won't be any crazy pics I don't think as we only drank, pink lemonades, ginger ales and diet cokes!!

Shelly, so sorry I had to bolt mid conversation. I was afraid I'd miss the 9:05. I ran like I'd never ran before. But it was worth it to hang with you chickadees.

Talk soon.

No no... no bolting... glad to see you made it home safely! Hahaha... I got on the T and realized I had stepped on the outbound one that would have taken me clear to oak ridge station before making its way back... well, I turned to hop back off and they shut the doors!!! So I went to the next station over, hopped off the outbound and onto the inbound to alewife... aye carumba! Got home at 11ish. Haha! Boss called this morning (after I woke up at 5:30) to say she didn't need me to come in until 11 today... bah! Back to bed!
