Alana,

Congrats on the great numbers...I have been lurking here to see how Grits and Susan are doing but have been watching your little story as well. I will keep you in my prayers. Also, check out my signiture...my numbers started out a lot lower than yours and I am having twins.

Grits and Susan, just wanted to let you know that we found out that we are having two girls! I posted some pictures on the Jan/Feb due date buddies pages if you are interested.

Still hoping and praying for you two. I MISS YOU!

Hannahhander, you can lurk anytime you want hun! Thanks for the well-wishes, and we can promise you we are looking after the wonderful Susan and Brenna (Grits) as we love those girls and they are now part of our kooky little family over here. Plus, I think they are both heading towards their very own BFP's very soon so we will be cheering so loudly on this thread when that happens you'll hear it all the way at the due dates!

Thanks everyone else for the warm words. I wish you were all in Toronto and we could all head out and grab ourselves some decaf lattes and sit and chat. We will have to throw some sort of gathering oneday won't we? Somewhere central we can all get to relatively easily. Hey, we could make a pact that once we have all had our babies, no matter how long it takes, although I'm betting it won't take that long at all, (I'll still be here you can count on that!) we should meet up and introduce them all. They will, after all, be kindred spirits of a sort won't they?

hannah my love!!! Congrats on the two girls! That's so adorable. I love it.

Alana, I am totally up for a meeting of kindred spirits, either with or without our little ones... I think when we all do have our little ones though, they will be soul sisters/brothers. Hmmm.. Where could we all meet?
What a great time that would be!

i just wrote a check to the window man for replacement windows and boy did that hurt! Ouch. Oh well, little by little we will get this house to have some curb appeal so when/if the market gets back to semi-normal we can sell.

Rachel- My sister is a realtor as well and she has been having a tough year. She has just started selling again in the last two months thank goodness.
Do you or DH know anything about jumbo loans/mortgage? I am told that is what we have to get when we buy our new house because our range is over a certain amount?? The interest is higher?

Alana - I just posted two pics of the nursery in the January thread when you're bored tonight. Page 191 I think.

Susan - Ronni's DH can probably answer this question the best. Jumbo loans are typically any loan amount over $475,000. So, if you're planning on putting 20% down on your house, then any house over about $590,000. The rates are running higher right now than a smaller loan b/c the risk is higher for the banks. That being said, I've heard lots of stories about local banks offering great rates on jumbo loans as compared to the national companies. The local banks would love to make these higher bracket home buyers new customers of theirs It's definitely an interesting market right now. Very unpredictable.

Ronni - How did the baseline u/s go? Did I miss your post in my sniffles induced fog?

Hanna - I love the two girls too! Don't worry, we'll keep all your buddies good company over here. Can't wait to see all those cute dresses you get to buy!

Hey Rachael!

My baseline u/s was good! No cysts and I had 3 follies on the right and 2 on the left. It was a beautiful thing compared to the last IVF baseline with ZERO follicles! I got the go-ahead to start stims tomorrow. Grits and I will be thinking of one another as we begin the process of making swiss cheese out of ourselves.

Hope you're starting to feel a little better. Summer colds are really a drag. I took a peek at your new nursery pics and it looks great!!! Love the hat racks! How did you decide how far down from the cieling to put the stripe? I've always been curious what's right when doing stripes...

thanks Shawna for the crossed fingers.

My boys finally came home last night! Absence does make the heart grow fonder. Well for most of us. My mil is already *****ing at my fil!

Alana that is a great 2nd beta! You are right we can only do what we can and then hope and pray for the best. I start my Lupron tomorrow. And then I will be on my way to a ! AT least when I do it myself there is no surprise, I know exactly when it is going in.

Jen I am with Alana I cannot wait for you to start piac! And nope it is fully leaded!! I will not cut it until I have to. Usually I will start to wean 2 weeks before I need to be off. For an FET I decided that is not until transfer. If anyone has a different thought on it I am open to being educated. And my DH cannot wait for the most pleasant side effect of hormones, big bb's!!!

Rachel, wait until your milk comes in!! well I guess I should ask if you are breastfeeding? If you are they will be even bigger! I went from a 34 tiny B to a 36 D when I was nursing.

Hannah, that is so sweet of you! That is so awesome you are having two girls!! Thank you for the prayers.

I too would love a forum reunion!

I think I have to wander over to Jan due dates to check out everything. I will have more time soon when the in-laws leave on Sun

Go Goob!!! SHots tomorrow!

I also wanted to take a moment to tell all of you girls; Shawna, Ronnie, Rachel, Susan, Jencat, Shelly, Alana, and Martie.........how very great it is to have your support. It definitely makes this process less stressful. And I love your company.

Hello. Have been out of town but back home now. Ah, home.

Great 2nd Beta Alana. Hopefully that puts your mind at ease a little. Looking good!!!
I didn't end up putting my order in to aunt, but I'm hoping she'll bring a stash of Milo. Darn, I just remembered Toffee Pops. Then again last time I was home they seemed so much smaller and not as much caramel.

Shelly, before I forget, I checked my voicemail message again and the center does thaws twice a day not month..duh. I guess they just had to slot me in somewhere hence CD1 being today officially.

Jen, mine are small B's and even when breastfeeding was never bigger than a C!! That's pretty pathetic. Still seemed to work effectively. I've always been envious of those with curves in the right places. Only curve I have is my butt. Do you get sore ones before AF or is this a interesting development??

Great news on the baseline Goob!! Yay!

I'm trying to watch a horror movie while typing this so my consentration isn't good. Maybe I should log off before DH gets really frustrated.

The site was on the fritz again.

Rachael- I love the nursery! So cute.

Count me in for the reunion tour. And if any of you come to Colorado- you are more than welcome at mi casa...

Okay, todays news. So about 3pm at work today I noticed a little tiny bit of spotting- pink on the tissue. First, let me start by saying that it was supposed to be an easy day at work- catching up on my lab notebook and paperwork crap. Well, I made the mistake of calling in the tech. lead and another person on my project to review my western blot results. Then we all decided that we needed more data, so 5 more blots- today!!! I couldn't finish them so I am back at work this weekend, but only for a couple of hours. Lesson here- don't tell anyone results until AFTER a long weekend!!!

Okay, back to the spotting. Well I am on CD24. I don't get AF that early. I am a 28-30 day girl. I am pretty sure I am 8 or 9 days post ovulation. Anyway, I called the nurse at the RE's office cause in case this is AF I told her I wanted the full work up and going in with drugs and IUI. She told me that they would want to see me on Day 5 (if I got full AF by 5pm, that would be Tues, if tomorrow, then Wed). But I asked about implantation bleeding and she said that I am at the time for it. So, she also told me that I could have mild cramps with implantation bleeding. I don't know. I am not crampy. Don't feel like AF is coming. And I haven't had any real blood, just a little pink, but nothing the last time I went (and very very faint the time before that- I am full of pee, apparently). So, as always, it is a wait and see game. I probably will POAS or PIAC in my case, this weekend, but even if it isn't AF, I don't expect it to show until early next week. Uggg the wait. In the meantime, I gotta go find some ice cream.

Urgh... I couldn't get on the site at all last night! It was making me very grumpy.... had to clean instead. Yuck.

I officially did not win the lottery so sorry but no free for all reunion tour. We'll had to figure it out on our own dime. But, I've always got room to spare here! Plus, we have a family 5 bdrm. farm house so all the nature girls can admire the wildlife

Ronni - I am thrilled to hear about your baseline u/s!! Yeah! Positive vibes all the way through. Hmmm... I'm trying to count on my fingers but it's not working well. Can we still get you out of fasting for the holiday this year? I don't know how I chose where to put the stripe. I know it would up being 15 inches down from the ceiling and it seems to work good. We have some tall furniture going in there and I didn't want all the stripe work to get covered up.

Grits - Thanks for the bbs advice. I can only imagine and yes I plan on breastfeeding. Geez. I'll have to stock up on 40D before heading to the hospital! Some of these changes are a little overwhelming. My butt better go back to a normal size after delivery. Way too many curves going on here. I am so excited you started back on the road for the FET too. We are all here for the support. You just take it nice and easy this month and let everyone around you take great care of you for a change.

Jen - I'm thinking good thoughts too. Implant away over there and get that stash of HPTs ready. And, stay out of the lab! Holiday weekend applies to all of us from the States here. Go get yourself some more ice cream.

The sniffles are slowly disappearing over here. Hate summer colds. Only went through three boxes of tissues with this one. Off to run an errand over here. I'm on a mission to find a rug for the nursery but having no luck. Tried all the obvious options and even ventured to IKEA this morning with the back to school crowd. Big mistake

Rachel- Awww no way! Well we will all need to play and every chance we get....we are all playing the infertility/fertility lottery as it is, but hopefully we'll all win both?! lol I guess we'll just have to pay for our own tickies? lol

Well I just got a call from the fertility clinic, I have been spotting on and off for the whole month of August and it's not stopping now. Anyways, the nurse didn't know too much so she said our file is going on the doctor's desk and I will get a call next week sometime. However, I asked her about our Reoccurent m/c blood work...she said the doctor signed off on it all! No blood clotting issues, no genetic problems...I literally started to shake uncontrollably when she said it...It was all I could do to fight back tears because as always I was thinking the worst! She did say however the my Free Androgen Index is a bit high but again that DR S signed off on it. I figure that is a bit high due to the PCOS?! Anyone have experience? Anyways, I'm still shaking!! Thank you God, no genetic issues for our losses, no lupus, no blood clotting issues...thank you thank you!! This is such a huge relief!
