Thank you girls for being so supportive of my downer self yesterday.
I had a big chat with DH and we are just going to have to take it day by day. I think I was feeling especially sad because we spent the day/evening with my cousin, his wife and their 8 month old, who is adorable. But who made me feel upset that maybe I will never actually have one of my own. So I think thats what got me so wound up. I know this pregnancy could go either way, (my clinic REFUSES to do anymore tests until week 8!!) so I guess I just need to wait and see.Jen, the pictures look great. I think your place looks really inviting, and I think the plates look good on the mantel. If you want more joojing (is that how you spell it??) get some white candles of different sizes and put them on top too. That always looks great. As for the PIAC results...it aint over yet hun. I'm still pulling for you. You are quite a fertile young lassy and if its not meant to be this cycle, the next one definately will be! Rachael, thats great you and Havanajims are spending time still. Say hi to her from me, she was so sweet when I had the miscarraige, posting ultrasound pics etc so I could see what stage she was at and I would have been. It was very therapeutic. Shawna...YAY for the test results!! I don't blame you with the clomid either. Maybe you should try the letrozole? It wasn't great for me, but I was a tiny percentage of women who get headaches etc. And hey, it did still work so definately ask you RE about it. Susan, 'A Few Good Eggs' is also a infertility blog. Is it the same person? I wonder. I will definately have to read it. Does the writer have a successful pregnancy eventually? Michelle, I'm sorry about your BFN hun. I was really hoping I would see you on the grads list this cycle. Thank you also for your understanding on what I'm going through. I guess when you get your next BFP you'll probably feel the same way...but reading you have had two losses and are still so wonderfully positive makes me realize that I too can find the strength to get through this, whatever way it goes. Especially with you girls here. Brenna, when will you finish up stabbing yourself? I had three injections for my cycle and my stomach was already purple. I bruise sooooo easily. Its funny though, I have always hated the fact I have a piece of flab I can pull out easily there, but when I had to have the injectibles I was so greatful for it! lol Ronni hun, Yippee for starting your stims!! This cycle has really started and you are on your way to that sticky BFP. How are you feeling? Excited? ![]()

Alana , I guess I took to long typing! Yes, mood swings are here to stay with you fro a while.....
If all goes well I will be stabbing myself through Oct. . Lupron for now until transfer then with PIO. the week of and after. I do not bruise, so I am good with it all. I just 'get it done' and move on. I do not like shots, but I do not spend time thinking about them anymore. Jen I still have my fingers crossed for you too! And yes, I still pray!! How about you? Has one slipped out with your relics ? LOL

Morning girls... no I didn't PIAC this AM cause I peed a lot during the night. Sigh. No more spotting so that is good. Maybe if I can hold it for a few hours I will do it later. Definitely tomorrow AM.
Brenna-yes, scarily enough I find myself saying a little prayer now and then. Nothing official, since I don't really know any of them- well, I think I have most of the Our Father one down but that is cause I went to mass with DH a few times and read it in the prayer book (bible? I don't know there were 2 books behind the pew thingy). Alana-oh no, 8 weeks! Don't they know that is an eternity for a IF person!!! Are you still POAS? It is strange, I have read lots of people here had BFN on an HPT, but then go for their betas and have betas in the 100s or 200s...seems to me that some people just have too dilute urine. I believe I am one of them. With my first pg I didn't register on a HPT for 2 weeks! Then my next one it was always faint. Even so with the ectopic when I knew my beta was in the 3000s!!!

I was going to poas until week 8 but I decided if it did start to get fainter that wasn't going to help my current frame of mind.
I've also decided to tell them I will NOT be having an ultrasound then until they pull their fingers out of their bottoms and check my levels first. I keep stressing this to the nurse, that I don't want any surprises this time...but does she listen?? Honestly, these clinics only want you around when you are paying for treatments. Get a BFP and you are kicked to the curb.Jen, you could definately have a metabolism that doesn't hold the hormone long in your body. I know I process hormones strangely. I hold them in too much! Guess we are the opposite in that way. So when will you be having your beta then? What day are you on? Too much excitement here...I'm waiting for you BFP!

Hey Shawna hun. We must have posted at the same time! No, letrozole is a tablet and it suppresses the estrogen so the other hormones pick up and work harder to create follicles. It doesn't thin the lining like clomid either and its pretty inexpensive too which is why we tried it before the injectibles. Hope that helps.

Alana- thanks for the info...hmmmmm....I wonder how that works with PCOS and my hormones being so out of wack as it is....hmmmm. LOL I'll ask the nurse when she calls sometimes this week! Thanks Hun!!
On the whole no u/s thing, perhaps you should let them go ahead so that you will know that your pregnancy is in the right place! Especially with fertility drugs, they need to check this...don't be too stubborn Sweetie...it's still your health they are checking on too! ![]()

I don't think the ultrasound will be necessary after. It looks like AF is starting to show her horrible head and DH just picked up a HPT as he didn't accept it was happening...and it is almost a BFN.
So it looks like we are back to square one girls. I do want to ask you all what tests I should be doing now that this seems to have happened again. My clinic is pretty slack with this kind of thing so I'd like to go in prepared with a list.

Alana---Oh no Honey!! I'm so so sorry!!
I don't want to jump into all the medical mumbo jumbo, but they have ruled out any and all infertility problems for you...thyroid, PCOS, etc? I think I'd question them on that for sure. As far as tests...I believe they did a Lupus test, blood clotting, genetics testing, etc. Oh no, Alana...oh how I hope it's not true...I'm so so so sorry! I am so upset for you!!! I'm so sorry Sweet Heart!

Oh Alana No! I can't believe that's happening to you! The only thing I can say is that HPTs are qualitative, not quantitative tests. They really aren't meant to tell you "how" pregnant you are. But I completely understand what you're doing and where you are. I did the same thing to try to figure out if my hCG was increasing or decreasing. I hope the best for you - is there any way you can get in to see a regular physician or OB if your RE won't take you? I'm so sorry you're having to go trough this.

Jen - I like the paintings! And I don't think the one above the fireplace makes it look too busy. It think it looks very warm - I even like the plates. Are you available to commission to make glass plates? I absolutely love glass art and your pieces look so pretty.
Grits - So sorry about the Lupron mood swings! That really sucks. Hopefully DH will understand and not end up to beaten and bruised. ![]() Hey Shawna! Hope you're having a good holiday weekend!!! I've been keeping busy. Visiting with my grandfather Saturday, out to the lake with friends yesterday, trimming shrubs and painting my dining room today.

Thanks girls. It really isn't looking too good. DH is going to take me into the clinic tomorrow and demand a beta test. Hes pretty mad they make us wait so long. AF seems to be still just light spotting, but its the pregnancy tests that are slightly upsetting. You'll laugh at this though, I ran out and started peeing on all the OPK's! Now thats desperation! Of course the First Response ovulation test is negative, which means I guess that my levels have dropped pretty low. I now just keep wondering why this keeps happening. I am definately going to ask for those tests Shawna. I haven't had any of that done yet. I guess I wish I could go in, do the test and have it come back good. But I'm pretty sad right now.

But I'm not giving up yet. I've decided I'm PUPO (pregnant until proven otherwise)...I mean, spotting and light HPT's aren't conclusive are they? Anyway, enough about this. I think I'll just lurk the rest of the night and let you girls talk about happier topics. I'm kinda tired and a bit out of it so I'll try to catch up with you all later.
