ronni, i am wearing khaki maternity pants and a babydoll type shirt w/ a denim jacket over it. i look ok i guess.

i am in a negative place and can't get out of it. i am terrified. i had cramping lastnight and some more brown discharge this morning. i hate this and i want to be positive but i feel like i could start crying at any moment. still no beta news and i can't handle it.

Amy..I bet you look really cute! I'm sorry you are going through this stupid wait. Will you get the word at work or do you have to wait till you get home? I will be at my nursing job most of the day (it is really getting in the way of my social life..ie checking in with the girls!) but I will be looking for good news later on.

Jen..I wonder if the sleep problem is related to the dexamethasone..I know there are some nights where I wake up at 3am and can't get back to sleep for an hour. Not fun.

I have my RE follow up today at 3. I am kinda nervous to hear what he has to say. I mean, the other second opinions are different. This guy has my BFNs on his stats and hands. I wonder if he'll be positive or try to wash his hands of me.

Amy, sorry you are feeling so anxious. I was going to say, try and not worry, but who am I to say that. I know exactly how you feel. But really, your first beta was so good I think you'll have some great news today.

Jen, are you still taking some benadryl? That stuff keeps me up and I find myself starring at the ceiling a good portion of the night. They also say not to give benadryl to kids unless you know how they react because it can make them bounce off walls. Just a thought? Or maybe you just have a lot on your mind right now.

Shawna, is your DH's job with the family business? Hope he likes it!!

Ronni, unfortunately that was the state of my embryos pre-freezing. I hope they fair well after the frosting experience?? Last time some of my little ones didn't make it. They didn't like being cold. Neither do I come to think of it.

So I talked with my HR person and boy is she pissed (at BCBS). She called our rep, but the rep didn't answer, so she is going to continue calling until she gets somewhere. Cross your fingers for me, okay

i just got a text from my ivf nurse "lab says still pending" wtf is that! how about a phone call and an explanation. then i call and she doesn't answer. i am beyond upset. i just texted my dh and told him he needs to take care of this immediately. more brown discharge and a horrible feeling in my gut. i just wish these first few weeks weren't so difficult. my poor students, i am so preoccupied. thank god they are taking an online assessment and i don't have to teach today.

Good luck today Josee! I know the consult after my 2nd failed IVF with my RE was not pleasant and I knew within seconds that we were done with him. I hope yours goes better!

Heidi - What are your next steps? Have you decided what you'll do or are you taking a break? I understand the disappointment you've felt and know a break did us some good.

Jen - You've got a whole team rallying for you! I hope they can strong arm BCBS for you.
