Ronni that interpretation sounds spot on. I'll have to remember some of mine and get you to interpret them too.

Jen, I forgot to comment on the bride divulging your personal information situation. I can't believe she did that. No clue obviously. But because she has no clue I guess you just have to overlook her insensitivity and try and enjoy some of the festivities. Otherwise she'll drive you crazy.
And your dream, weird... although I've had dreams to match that. Ones that leave you wondering what the hell? Yours have a scientific twist to them though. I have a lot of dreams about not being able to flush "whatever' down the toilet and the problem gets worse and worse and people are waiting for me to get out of the bathroom and I wake up all anxious and happy it didn't really happen. Ronni, .. no pressure, but we're anxiously awaiting your phonecall today. Yes I'm happy we won't have houseguests, although I am also anxious about them being alone with MIL. MIL has a tendency to dig for info and aunt has a habit of talking alot... that's a dangerous combo. Stella will be here telling me to get up off the couch and attend to her very urgent needs, but like last time, DH was wonderful. He only works weekends anyways, so will be here to take her out on adventures and give me some quality incubation time all the while providing me with nutritious meals. I am very lucky in that respect. Although he has a zero tolerate for any type of "hormonal moods or outbursts", he makes up for it by being a good house-dad. I knew he'd be alright when he used to cook his mother dinners and watch movies with her. Now he just gets annoyed that I want to eat the dinners but can't concentrate on the movies. Too busy on here doing internet therapy, he he. Alana, I too admire how you are handling all this. You're a real trooper. We are here for you as you are for us. Shawna. This is my 4th RE. They all have there pros and cons. What is important to me is feeling like they haven't forgotten me and know what they are doing. If I don't get that feeling, then it wouldnt' work for me. I'm sorry you don't have a lot of options where you are. So frustrating. My Re says that people fly in from all around the world to go there. They must have an extended stay while they complete they IVF cycle. I can't imagine that's an option for many people.

Oh Heidi- I could tell you dreams about going to the bathroom! I get them alot. Usually I am looking for a bathroom but I can't find one with any privacy. And usually there is a huge room of toilets with no lids and funny shaped seats and it is in a locker room with both guys and girls. Oh, and the toliets are about a foot away from each other in the middle of this large room -no doors or anything. They toilets are all connected.
I also dream that I can fly. Not very high, but just skimming roof tops.

Jen - Here's what you need to dream for the next few nights...
You're at work and there are two labs with entry doors that are about 10 feet apart. You've got work going on in each lab but you're taking something very important to the lab on the left. You're very stressed to get that delivery to the lab on the left but you're distracted along the way. You find yourself walking into the wrong one - the door on the right! As you walk in you're concerned that you've gone into the wrong lab but you're not sure you actually did. When you turn on the lights to confirm your mistake there's a huge surprise party there for you! Balloons, streamers, friends, family. Everyone is there and you're not even sure what the big occassion is but you enjoy it just the same! There - hope that works!

OMG Ronni that is fantastic!! Wow, like Jen said, grow little embabies grow!! Phew, now I can relax and start breathing again...I was sooooo nervous for you today. Thats the best news yet!Oh, and thanks girls for the kind words about me being a trooper, but the only reason I'm getting through this at all is because of the support from all of you. Otherwise I'm kinda just going about my life in a dull daze. Although, I found a clinic here in Toronto that specializes in recurrent pregnancy loss so my DH is going to phone up and harass them until they see us. I know its usually after 3 losses, but honestly I don't see how having another one helps us at all. So everyone keep your fingers crossed for us they will help us out. ![]()

Alana, didn't you suspect that you had an early miscarriage some time last year. Perhaps that clinic will take that into consideration even though it's not documented per say??

Ronni - WOW!! WOW!!! WOW!!!! I am so excited for you!! What an amazing report this morning. Guess those docs really do have a good idea of what they're doing?? You must be thrilled. Ok... so now it's super important to keep drinking the fluids and flush those ovulating hormones. Just have DH buy a whole variety so you don't get bored with anything. Gatorade, vitamin water, juice, lemonade... Do you get another report tomorrow on how they're doing? Can't wait. You're doing a 3 day transfer right? My heart just dropped when you said Countrywide. I'll keep my fingers crossed for DH. The buyer I had two weeks ago closed with Countrywide and that loan officer had been there a while too. Considering how many new people they've brought on recently, we'll go with the FIFO accounting principle... first in first out!
Jen - Crazy dream over there. I like Ronni's interpretation. I agree that it sucks about the bridal shower today and the bride spilling your private news to everyone. People are very insensitive. We were talking about crazy pregnancies at the table yesterday and one of my older cousins that is a nurse just starts talking about how weird it is that so many people have frozen babies. Meanwhile, both my SIL and I did IVF. I was totally tempted to bust out and smarta s s her with a remark but Mom gave me one of those "keep your mouth" shut looks. My grandparents don't know about everyone "issues". Urgh. Maybe the clomid crazzies wear off after a while.... Shawna - I have to say maybe there is at least a more responsive doctor/nurse team at your clinic. I purposely chose not to go with the big name doctor at my clinic. I wanted more personalized attention. I too usually get put straight through to one of two nurses that work for this RE and worst case get a same day return call. Alana - very good news that you found a clinic specializing in losses so close to you. I'm sure DH can be convincing enough to get you an appt. If not, totally go for the crying at the receptionist desk! You too deserve some wonderful treatments after everything this year. I think you are doing amazingly and have a great attitude. Enjoy the wine and the long baths.... they won't last long. Heidi - Have a great rainy relaxing day over there. I wish my DH cleaned or cooked. No luck on either end. Right now he's mindlessly watching college football and alternating that with ESPN. Excitement. Oh, and there is messiness all around and it drives me nuts! I finally had a nice relaxing morning over here. It's noon and I still haven't showered But, I do have a few things that have to get done. I think the shower will be calling my name very soon...

Hey Rachael - Don't know yet if I'll have a 3 day or 5 day transfer. The embryologist I spoke to this morning said given my age, they've tentatively set my ET for Monday (3dt) at 11:45 a.m. They don't expect great quality from someone my age. I won't hear anything again until Monday morning when they'll give me an update and we'll decide when to transfer. The embryologist said if I have 2 or more embryos with excellent quality (grade 1) on Monday, they'll wait and do a 5 day transfer. I'd be happy with either scenario.
I've decided to invent the "EmbieCam". I would love nothing more than to be able to watch my embryos over the next 48 hours to see what's happening while they divide. My clinic doesn't change cultures or disturb the embryos on Day 2 at all so wouldn't it be easy just to install a camera in their climate controlled incubator so I can logon with my social security number and watch 'em grow!!?? How cool would that be? Glad you had a restful morning. You need 'em and won't get ANY of them once Aiden makes his grand entrance. I'm off to shop and get a pedicure and stock up on fluids, protiens, fruit and snacks as I prepare for a couple days of bedrest next week. I already have the freezer stocked with 4 types of ice cream - some of which I already enjoyed yesterday. ![]()

Ronni - What a wonderful plan for the day!! Ice cream, rest and a pedicure. What else could those future embabies want?? Those little guys (and girls) definitely had a busy night last night. Lots of romantic music and dancing going on in those petri dishes! We kept teasing DH during our IVF that his "guys" were going to the prom for the first time! Luckily, he kept his sense of humor about the whole thing. I love the embaby cam!! Why not? Another add-on the RE's could charge us for and you know we would all just sit there and stare. Almost like a nanny cam. Maybe they like their privacy though while they're doing there replicating....
OK, so now we have to try to wait patiently till Monday morning for our next update. Urgh. Well, it will give you enough time to get all stocked up. Can you take a few days off next week too while you lay low? I hope so. And, yes, I am scared to death of sleep deprivation and early mornings with Aiden. He moves around all the time and now I think I've got some crazy hyper kid on my hand! DH and I are not morning people so we're already trying to plan on a put the baby to bed late plan and I bought black out curtains for the nursery. Of course, I'm sure the baby will have his own ideas! Those first three months are the scariest part to me....

Oh, and to answer your question Rachael...
My RE says 24 hours strict bedrest and then life can resume. Since my clinic does ETs around lunch time, I plan to take off the day of ET and the following day and stay in bed 99% of the time. If I can squeeze another day out of the office without my projects going to crap I'll do a third day off. I've been managing the development of a new software program for the past 9 months and we go to beta test in the field on Tuesday, 9/25. The week before beta is critical and usually when the s h i t hits the fan. Funny how work gets busy at the worst times...

Grits - Any update on your FET? Hope everything is going well over there.
Ronni - It always works that way! Whenever you try to slow down at work to focus on something else, that's when the projects just keep popping up! Well, it will definitely keep you busy during the 2ww. Just be sure to still eat well and don't let the stress get to you. Plus, you'll still have next weekend for some down time. I just had a depressing moment at the fancy maternity store. No issues getting my growing belly into the pants but I can't get it (comfortably) over my ever growing A S S!! What the hell. I will be doing tons of squats when this baby shows up. I might just strap him on me and do squats and lunges with the extra weight! I have no desire to be J Lo forever I need to do more shopping at the everyday maternity stores where people with real bodies shop! OK... I promise that's it for my complaining for the night. Love the belly and everything about it... just could do without the swollen butt and thigh part.
