Hi girls!

What a day. Last night DH and I watched The Return of the King, extended version and I didn't get to bed until 2am. I took a nice long nap today. DH gave me my trigger shot in my butt, and I had to go start some cultures at work. I am wondering if I even needed the trigger shot cause I was starting to feel cramps in my lower back, and some ovary pain. Oh well. Tomorrow night we BD. Tonight I will start my belly dancing !

Rachael- glad you found some good buys at Old Navy.

Susan- glad you were able to have a great evening with some wine and friends. Was it your birthday? If so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Hmmm, if you get to blow off your MIL in November, then we should also meet in October so I can blow off mine!!!

Ronni- love the embie cam idea. I have a feeling it would be like watching water boil, though. What the should do is every time they take the cells out of the incubator to look at they should take a picture. I am sure they have cameras attached to their microscopes. We do in our lab. The cameras are linked up to the computer and you can immediately email the pictures of the embabies to their parents. It would take them 2-3 extra minutes of work...

Glad you had a good day with Grampa. Hope your shot goes well tonight.
Hey, is Ronni short for Veronica?

Heidi-no more weird dreams yet. Sorry you have a bruised butt. You girls impress me with your ability to give yourself shots. Today was the second shot DH had to give me. He is a freakin' scientist. It took him 15 minutes to read the 10 step instructions and about 10 minutes to inject the meds into my arse! He was so afraid of hurting me. The needle pinched a little. Of course I cried. Not cause of the pain. Cause of the clomid. Well, it got him to pamper me and make me lunch

Shelly-yeah, Dr. Gustofson is goofy looking. And kinda scary. Ed Norton was goofy/scary in Primal Fear. Every time I see that man I think of that movie. Creepy.

Okay, so I need some excuse to get out of the bachelorette party. It is at some fancy restaurant on Thursday night. It will be about an hour drive for me to get there. I will have worked a full day and will be exhausted (and I have a big meeting/presentation that day). Then on Friday I have to be at her house at 8:30am for the mani/pedi c r a p. Then it is a ALL day thing on Friday, with the rehearsal dinner ending past 10pm. Then I have to be back at 8:30am on Saturday and it will be an all day wedding extravaganza. She has a photo itenary where her bridesmaids get her dressed, then she and her fiance go all over Denver for 2 hours taking photos, then she picks us up and we go all over Denver taking photos. She wants us to go back and party at the hotel after the wedding, but that will be about midnight. I just don't operate on those hours anymore. Especially when I have other issues to worry about. AND HOW THE HELL AM I GONNA FIND A COMPUTER TO B ITCH TO YOU GIRLS ABOUT THE WHOLE PROCESS!!!
Oh, so I don't want to go to the dinner Thursday night cause after the dinner, around 10pm, they want to meet up with our spouces. Come on! My DH has to work the next day. And he has to drive me to Denver to her house so we don't wind up with 2 cars. He has to do the same on Saturday. It would be very out of the way to leave my car at her place. Poor DH.

Hey Ladies!

Sorry I have been so MIA lately, I"m feeling so down of course...I just can't seem to get out of this funk! Just when I thought the bleeding had stopped, it picked up and only to be heavier then it was before. TMI WARNING: I'm soaking a super plus tampon in about two hours!!! Am I bleeding to death? OMG...I'm seriously not happy...and I have no explanation on why the clinic has called me back! They've never done this to me before. DH and I speculate they've misplaced my chart! My trainer at the gym (Who is an RN in L&D...such a sweet heart...more on her later) told me to call the women's health line and to get in and see a GYNO right away. But then there's me, thinking it's just blood, my body will make more...supressing all the thoughts of what could really be wrong I guess.

I"m so mad at myself, at my doctor, at the clinic, at life. I didn't want to bring y'all down but D A M N it, I need to get it out! DH went to see if he can patch things up with his dad since they haven't spoken since April. A part of me thinks it's the right decision, the other part not so much. FIL Said so many uncalled for things, about our fertility, about us having children and about our baby that I lost in December....I don't know where or when I can start to forgive him. DH Feels the same but he knows that he needs to at least try. (FIL is having major health issues.)

Back to my trainer, what a doll! I could just hug her! The other day I finally got to work out with her, I've been MIA there since starting Metformin...anyways, we go into the locker room afterwards and we are talking. She starts to cry and tells me how sorry she is that we lost both our babies!!! Which in turn of course makes me cry!! She went on to tell me all the CRAP she sees as an L&D nurse....and how much it hurts to see people on meth, coke, drunk, just high....giving birth to babies addicted....drunk...and underweight...sick...she hates it! But she actually got into L&D in hopes of being there for my delievery of our second...woo...I know it's not how I should feel, but I feel like I have let her down, myself down and most importantly my DH down!!

Wow I'm having a down day! I should really get out of here! I'm so sorry ladies, thanks for letting me complain and B I T C H and moan...I hate to have brought you all down with me!

Good luck with the upcoming ER,ET, and FET Ladies!! And everyone else trying, no matter how! Wishing you all BFPs...the stickiest of sticky ones!!! (((HUGS))) talk with you all when I'm back to feeling like a human!

Shawna- you have got to get into see a Dr. With all that bleeding your hemocrit level could be low. Are you taking a prenatal? Extra iron? Hon- I am worried about you...

Shawna,- Jenn is right, that's a lot of blood. At least call in the morning and have them order a CBC to check your crit. It's completely unacceptable that your clinic has not returned your calls. Do you have a regular OB/GYN? You need to follow up with someone.
I would just walk right in. Or go to the ER and tell them who your clinic is. The doctor on call will have no choice but to come in and see you. You should page the doctor on call right now.

I pulled out my iron pills tonight. I will be taking them for the next month or so I suspect. (I've been previously diagnosed as anemic fair more times then I count.)

I can't honestly say I don't care to go to the ER...the ER is just full of doctors who don;t understand how the Infertile body works I swear. I do have a regular OB GYN...but last time I called they told me it would be three months before I could see him. I'll probably try calling him and telling him it's imperitive that I see him, which is definately is.

I dealt with this same situation last August/September...I can't remember what ever came out of it...those are two months I kind of just glided along in a daze!

I just went ot the bathroom...I'm pushing an hour and a half on this tampon and things seem to be easing up...my fingers are crossed. Dealing with doctors is so not my fortay! I need to get b itchy!

Shawna- DO you have a Women's Hospital near you? They tend to be a bit more educated and understanding when it comes to fertility. Also, if you call you Ob/GYN and tell them it's an emergency then they have to see you. They have several slots per day saved for emergent visits. Your condition certainly warrants this. They cannot make you wait three months for an issue that needs imediate attention. That is just ludicrous. You may just have a piece in your uterus that keeps bleeding due to a fibroid or just a section of the emdometrium that is not healed from trauma. Sometimes they suggest progesterone to stop the bleeding. This has happened to me before, but defintely get your hematocrit checked before you become ill.
Be aggresive. Doctors listen more when you get in their faces.

Jen - Yay for trigger shots!! Wow. What a week ahead you have. Hmmm... how can we get you out of the dinner party? I'm trying to think of something really creative here. Got any proteins that need late night checking. I'm with you. Enough is enough. Last minute cold? Don't want to infect the bride before her big day... I can't believe this bridelizza has a full Friday and Saturday booked for you. Urgh. We've got to get you out of some of this stuff!

Shelly - Your in-laws sound like quite a pair! I give you lots of credit just for making it through 38 hours in the house. I couldn't do it! At least your FIL is there for some reprieve. Looks like we'll be looking for excuses for you next.

Shawna - I'm really worried about you too! All that blood loss just can not be good for you. I think you should find a doctor - any doctor - tomorrow to run some blood work before you start on the iron pills so the doctors can know how your body is reacting to all of this. I'm the first to self-diagnosis but this is a serious ongoing issue. Can you just go to the RE's office tomorrow? I know you are having a hard time but you need to see someone.

Ronnie - We're all cheering away for you and the embies tonight!!

Susan - I love the Italian! I wish I was in class with you... it's one language I keep promising I'm going to attempt. I caught the first sentence - lost me on the second. Opps. I'm a big fan of Syrahs! One of my favorites both California and French. Viognier for whites here.

I just finished watching one of my new favorite shows HBO's Tell Me You Love Me. It's all about four couples and their relationships. Well, one of the couples is having IF issues and we could all relate! Tonight, they show the wife POAS for ovulation, then she yells down to her DH who's watching football and eating a sandwich that she's surging! I'm sure we've all been there. Of course, the DH rolled his eyes, finished his half sandwich, and then tried to get into making his "donation". Very realistic viewpoints.

Thanks everyone for your concern. I just got off the phone with DH...he says enough is enough. I'll be calling my OB GYN tomorrow and going there. I just hate including so many doctors on one issue...like the clinic and my OB would give conflicting treatments type thing...but it's definately past that. The funny thing is, I have no pain...just bleeding...lots of it. Although it seems to have let up just a tiny tad bit again. Even so, my RE NEEDS to address this...it can't keep happening. I'm crying to my DH saying I'll never get and stay pregnant because I swear they're going to have to do a hysterectomy on me to stop the bleeding. (Yay irrational thinking right?!)

Anyways, hopefully DH will be home soon...I should load up on cranberry juice...it seemed to have helped the last time. Just a few more hours to go and then I hope to get a phone call, if not I'm going ot leave a message in every single voice mail box they have at that d a m n clinic! Ya know...I wonder if it's too much to ask to be able to talk to a D A M N human instead of an automated machine!! Grrr!

Jen - Congrats on triggering! I'm glad DH treated you afterwards. I did my first PIO for this cycle about an hour ago and DH couldn't be bothered to leave the recliner upstairs in the "man-room" since he's watching football. He did yell down at me and said I deserved to get myself some ice cream when I was done. What an angel. Since DH seems to be dropping the ball around here lately, why don't you swing on down to Dallas and take care of me for the weekend? That way you can't be at that "root canal" of a wedding you've got going on over there! I agree with Rachael - you've got important lab work that needs your attention Friday night. I think that's a harmless fib.

Shelly - You're amazing for spending any time with that MIL you described. I'm not a big fan of my MIL but she's harmless. Yours sounds toxic - in more ways than one!

Shawna - If you don't get your butt to a doctor (any doctor) within the next 24 hours we may have to come get you. Just because your RE is ignoring your health doesn't mean you can do the same. You have to take care of yourself!!!

Rachael - So glad you found jeans! Old Navy is one of my favorites. The clothes are inexpensive enough that it's okay to buy several things and it's not devastating with DH ruins them during laundry incidents. I need to watch "Tell Me You Love Me" - sounds like something I'd love! Maybe I can find it in our cable "On Demand" menu while I'm on bedrest.

So I should get my embryo update in the a.m. and be able to finally get my week planned. I'm a planner. It's what I do. Really - I'm a project manager so when I can't have a plan I really feel uncomfortable. I'll check in tomorrow to see how everyone is doing! (Shawna you better be telling us what a Dr. says the next time I logon...)

Jen - You just named two of my favorites. I'm drooling just thinking of Stags Leap Petite Syrah. Yummy!

Ronni - I have to give you a little forewarning about my new favorite series. It is HBO - i.e. graphic nude scenes. Just wanted to warn you there! Will definitely keep you occupied and there are only two episodes so far to catch up on. Oh, and they interview real couples at the end of each episode to see what they think of the discussions and situations. Now go get that ice cream! And, I did my own PIO shots too. No patience for DH and his constantly changing schedule.

Shawna - I hope to hear an early report from you with your doctors appointment! We're going to just keep bugging you.

My bum hurts from the trigger shot. It didn't hurt yesterday but when I woke up this AM, ouch! I was up peeing half the night and had crampy feelings in my ovary area. How fun...

Heidi - I just want to wish you good luck with the FET tomorrow. We're all thinking of you and cheering over here! Naive question, but do they defrost the embryos today or tomorrow? Will you get any report before going in tomorrow? I know those little girls and guys will be thrilled to get back to their comfy spots!

Ronni - Thinking of you too.... hope you got some fabulous news this morning!

Jen - Sorry for the sore bum over there but it sounds like you are ovulating away! And, tomorrow is your dollar ice cream night to celebrate

Just a quick update...no calls yet. But I am giving them the benefit of the doubt...it usually takes them one to two business days to get back to me. (I am too nice and giving them too much here aren't I?) Anyways, I'm gearing up to leave a nasty message! This S H I T has been going on since August 31st. Hello? Help please!

The stupid thing is, I begin to wonder, did I leave the message int he wrong box? And ummm....which box do I leave it in? I am not doing IUI, IVF or any fertility treatments so those extensions aren't for me...leave a message with the receptionist cause well she's the receptionist and that's her job...to pass on messages...did her pen run out of ink or did she forget how to write or pass on messages????

Anyways, here's hoping. When and if I do need to leave another message, you can bet I will be saying I started calling August 31st and I am still waiting for SOMEONE to return my phone calls, I really don't appreciate this!
