I'm home. I'm officially incubating. I got home around 3PM, laid down and had a nap. I've graduated to the lazyboy already -- that's kind of laying down right. I think I was sleepy from the valium that didn't quite kick in in time for the transfer. When I got to the clinic I didn't overdo the fluids because last time they were running late and nearly burst. This time I was going to have to wait except the girl before me didn't drink enough fluids an so I got to skip ahead (hence the valium not kicking in quite yet) and they said my bladder looked perfect. That was a ginger ale, a cup of tea in the car and half a cup of water at the clinic while I waited. They told me that they thawed two and one didn't make it, so they thawed another and it didn't make it, so they thawed number 4 which made it and so they put back one 7BF and a 8BF. Last IVF I had A grades, but they didn't seem too concerned. The nurse forwarned me that they most likely will loose cells during the freezing and thawing process. The cells seemed to look plentiful but the grade went down a tad. I originally had 5 so I'm not sure what will happen to the fifth?? I'll have to call and ask as I am blurry on the details? I watched on the monitor as they little ones escaped from the catheter and wished them luck. Stella has been a maniac, but DH has been very helpful.
The nurse wanted to examine the PIO sites which was a little embarrasing but she insisted. Here's butt cheek one and here's butt cheek two. She said we've been aiming too low, and although it's still effective, it does cause more bruising and lumps. The nurse told me that my crack is longer than the diagram (TMI) so to tell DH to aim higher than the picture indicates. I only told DH that she said that so that he wouldn't get defensive about his aim. Now he's been teasing me about the crack comment. Hope everyone had a good day. I'll be lurking off and on whilst trying to stay fairly flat.

Darn, my pregnancy was before the digital camera phase in our house but I'll see if I can get our scanner working after the incubation period. I took three days off work and then have to drop the visiting family at the airport Friday. Then I'll go to work Friday PM to catch up.

Welcome Home Heidi and Welcome Home Heidi's Embyros!!!!!
I'm so excited for you. You've got two little ones in there and I'll be pulling for both of them! Okay, I laughed out loud when you said your crack was longer than normal (or longer than the diagram). I once had some guy at a bar tell me I had a nice butt except it hung a little low. HUH?! Just buy me a drink a shut up! Don't worry - I bet the diagram was wrong, not your crack! Take it easy and let DH do all the work. He can do all the extra that MY DH isn't doing. ![]()

Woohooooo.....I think Heidi you are on the way to your bfp! Sounds pretty good to me...and hey, thinking back to your last round, I would think anything different is a GOOD thing! So you relax there hun, get your DH to take care of both you and Stella, and let these crazy girls entertain you for awhile. By the way, Rachael, its a bit like that isn't it. Before TTC, what on earth was baby-dancing like? I guess for a start it wasn't called 'baby-dancing', it was sex or love-making or whatever. Now its, 'honey I'm ovulating you need to hurry up and service me' while you hoist your pelvis up on a pillow and stick your legs in the air. Sound familiar Jen? lol.

Yay Heidi
Great Great news around here!! Just keep on talking to those embies!! I think we could all use some of those valium and it's perfect that you are relaxing now. I had to laugh about the butt crack. Is there such a thing as the right size butt crack?? Another thing for us to worry about Did you tell the nurse it just gave you more room to aim for!?Alana - You're right... I'll have to search way back in my memory bank to when it was just a romantic night and good old fashioned sex! My Mom keeps joking around that between us needing IVF and my brother and SIL needing IVF that she hopes her last child can get pregnant the old fashioned way in the back seat of a convertible! We've still got one of those in my house And, I'll be glad to only be using pillows to prop up my head!

Hey everyone...great news! They finally called me back today and apparently my DOCTOR personally tried calling me again LAST night. How I missed that call is BEYOND me! The nurse apologized profusely and I mean profusely. Ask a ton of questions, then said either my doctor/herself will call back TONIGHT or TOMORROW. I also told her we'll be in town for the next week start Thursday, hint hint I can come in! (the clinic is 8 and a half hours away from me!) I was fixin to yell at her that I was switching clinics but I think I'll stay put for now. But if it happens again, I'll be d a m n-ed if I stay there! I'm taking my money and my Hormonaly butt else where!
Anyways, two pages...woo you ladies were BUSY! Heidi- Good luck!! Yay for your snowbabies!Shelly- my DH is the same with no boobies! I'm a boring B cup too...and I've begged and pleaded and since losing TWENTY pounds! Yes twenty!!! Those poor things are deflating even more. Boo lol. But still no plastic boobies for me!!! lol Oh and Baby Hume is.........ummm cute? actually no, baby Hume is really cute...if you look past the creepiness of it...well you know how I mean! With you and your DH, you;re going to have some HAWT babies! Anyways, the bleeding has subsided some and my color is starting to come back! This morning I was matchign the white doors in our condo! Not cool! I'm feelign TONS better but I want to know what I am to do if it pickes up again, plus I want to know drug wise what's the next step!! ![]() Hope everyone is having a fantastic Tuesday!!!

LMAO!!! Love the pic Shelly, I think that sums it up just nicely! I'm going to check out that website now also, I think it will be hilarious to create our own mutant family to scare people with. It actually reminds me of a scene from the movie 'How to lose a guy in 10 days'. It was very funny.

Yay Heidi!!!
Those embabies are getting nice and cozy. You relax okay!!!Shawna-glad your Dr. called you. I hope they can fix your problem. Stupid doctors! Get this- so I went to lunch with the bride and her bridesmaid from England. Okay, that was nice. Then at 4pm she calls and wants me to go to S. Denver (an hour away) TONIGHT for drinks with 2 of the other bridesmaids. Well, the 4th bridesmaid is her fiance's sister. She and the MOH planned the bachelorette party on Thursday. It will be at a champagne bar in Denver. I'm okay with that (sparkling water for me!). But then she invited all of her cousins (the finance's sister did) and wants to get together with all the guys about 3 hours after the dinner party for the girls. That would be 9:30pm. My DH has to work the next day. I have to be at the brides place at 8:30am and probably won't get home until 11pm. Then I have to do the same the next day, but probably won't get home until midnight. Excuse me, but I gotta sleep and BD with my DH!!! Anyway, the bride wanted to go out tonight with just us girls- she is pissed about the family reunion the bachlorette party has turned into. I understand that. But she told me she would call me later with the bar location for tonight. She just called at 7:30pm! By the time I put clothes on and got to the place, it would be close to 9pm. And I have a long day at work tomorrow. So I told her that I was just too tired to come down. I think she is pissed. But come on! I saw her today, will see her Thurs, Fri and Sat. Enough is enough! I didn't take off the week for her wedding like the out of town girls (I can't take a week off now anyway).!!! okay, I made my computer baby. Hmmm....maybe we shouldn't breed...
