Jen - Don't even think about this bride anymore tonight!! People have just lost their minds. It's a Tuesday night... you are perfectly normal and need to conserve energy. A wedding is not a week long event. I think my in-laws were in town for MAYBE 48 hours for our wedding! You are doing more than enough already. Now get back to bd'ing and ice cream

Shawna - Keep up the good work over there hun!! Stay on finding the doc tomorrow!

Alana - I love that movie "How to lose a guy..." I always laugh so hard.... especially when she names his member and buys the dog with the matching sweater!

Shelly - My crack baby is very scary! I think one of my pictures was too dark so it didn't pick up the features at all.

Susan - Is this a new RE that is reviewing your file? I think you've been seeing two different doctors right? I'm glad you're moving to the next step and will have a new plan.

Thank goodness its not just me!!! Our crack baby looked like a crazy old woman with tiny eyes and no mouth....very scary! Its definately a photo thing as ours were too small also, either that or its a blessing we are infertile. No child should EVER have to look like that. lol

Anyway, going to go to sleep now. Had a long day and I am up early phoning the new clinic to hopefully book my appointment. Its not officially confirmed that the doctor will see me for this, but with DH yelling down the phone at them I think we have a fair chance.

Sleep well girls...and of course little embabies, who will be nice and comfy by now. Speak to you all tomorrow.

Okay, I'm hearing about all the crack baby pictures... but I'm not seeing any of them... not okay...

Jen - your baby is gorgeous, I don't care what you say! And, hi... I am with you on bridezilla over there. Us old, married people like to get to bed at reasonable hours... and I think what your bride is forgetting is that the world may only revolve around her for her 24 hours of wedding day... and you're already giving her two additional days. Don't feel bad. You have a responsibility to work, not party... so no more guilt. You're a grown up.

Yay Shawna on the doc calling you back... but he/she is still on my list. Any explanation as to why it took so long to return your calls? I mean, big deal, they tried calling last night... you've been calling for a month. They've got some serious a s s kissing to do for you to get back in my good graces. Careful... I work out. Ooh, speaking of which... that's why I am considering plastics... In January of this year, I was (eek) 215 lbs. I am currently at 178... bringing my grand total weight loss to 37 lbs since January. Sure, 9 months ago I had full C cups... and now I have mid Bs and a saggy tummy. Granted, my tummy will be full in 6 weeks, but still... And even when I was super thin in High School, I never had nice legs. I think Rachael was right... I inherited the Jewish thighs... but which ethnicity is responsible for my ugly knees and tree-trunk cankles (that's right, I said cankles.)? Haha... I suppose it could be a lot worse... I just hope if I have daughters, they get my husband's legs. I know that sounds weird... but if he shaved and wore heels... okay, we're getting into a weird area here...

Rachael - I love "How to Lose a Guy"... it was just a great concept movie. Even if I were creepy, I don't think I could bring myself to name a man's area "Princess Sophia." That's just mean. And I almost died when she pulled out the photo album. Hahaha!

Well, I just got back from a romp in the (no, not sack) gym, watched a little Law and Order SVU, took my bcp and prenatal, and now I'm burping up this lovely fish taste... ??? you might ask??? Yeah, one of my prenatals is an Omega 3 pill taken from fish oil... and it's not even like palatable fish (even regular fish I can't bear the smell of)... this is like sucking on a dead fish's tail. MMMMMM. That's why I take it before I go to bed... but tonight I've stayed up too long laughing hysterically over Jen's "baby"... and Princess Sophia... and floppy bbs. Ugh... I'm going to go pass out now. Bah. Hysterosonogram tomorrow...

Shelly - I tried those fish oil omegas... couldn't stomach them and the pills were gigantic!! What are we going to do about these thighs? I've been wearing those little coverup skirts over bathing suit bottoms for as long as I can remember. I am so impressed with your weight loss. WOW! You've worked really hard. I know it will pay off with this FET. Then you and I can really talk about cottage cheese thighs and water retention. I'm blaming my Mom - and praying our DS gets all of DH's metabolism and body genes. He can't put on a pound even if he tries and has stick legs. Oh, but I'm putting in a request for DS to get my nose Good luck tomorrow!

Hey Shelly...I thought you said my baby was gorgeous!!! Why laugh??? hahaha

Anyway, the rest of you girls ingore Shelly's post. I don't know who she is talking about with that talk about flabby belly and thighs stuff. The thing is I (and Heidi, of course) met the REAL Shelly in Boston and she is a beautiful fit woman! I think she is adorable and perfect and I can't believe that she weighs 178. Even if she does, boy does she carry it great!

BTW Shelly- congrats on that big weight loss. I am so tossed as of late... do I go to the gym and hurt my chances of getting pg? Or do I keep my extra middle weight and hurt my chances of getting pg? Hmmm. The whole thought makes me want more ice cream...

Alana-report back after talking to the Dr. tomorrow. I hope that he can get you in soon. If they try the 3 m/c crap, tell them you were a week late or so and then started to naturally m/c for your 3rd. 2 m/c's is enough. Why make someone go through that again?

Haha... Jen, you're sweet. I'm not ginormous and I'm working on being fit... I just know that after nine months of working out, there are just some spots that just won't firm up like I wanted... and others that have gotten soft... But this is true for any one who loses a lot of weight. My mama's going through this, too... she has lost 70 lbs (maybe more, I haven't consulted with her recently) and looks stunning... you just won't see her in a bathing suit anytime soon. IDK, isn't there an aerobics instructor in here? Grits, is that you? Anyways, my doctor said that exercise is essential to proper hormone balance, regulating periods, and maintaining healthy blood flow which is, in turn, essential for a healthy pregnancy... what would be even worse, though, is being the type to work out and then all of a sudden quit when you're pregnant. The muscle tone will be lost and you'd have a harder labor as result. There was this very petite woman at my gym all winter who was VERY pregnant... and she was just pounding on that elliptical machine like there was no tomorrow. I told her she was my hero. So Jen, if you're not so much with the working out, getting pregnant is not the time to start. After your get the okay from your OB that things are looking good, though, you may want to consider swimming (great for strength training without putting a lot of stress or gravity on the baby), gentle daily strolls, or even joining a pregnancy aerobics class. You'll have a much easier time returning to prepregnancy size and you'll find you have a lot more energy throughout the day. Haha, I say this as I'm about to go back to bed and pass out for the rest of my life... ick.

Rachael - believe me, I haven't worked as hard as my mom! But thanks for the recognition. I joined weight watchers (the points system) and at first I was really annoyed at keeping track, I fudged on my points (like, write that it was only 5 points when it was 9 or 10)... but after a week or two, I told myself that I was only kidding myself and needed to take responsibility for the things that go in my mouth. I started eating healthier, with healthier portions (I mean, wow, have you seen the size of portions they serve in restauraunts?!?!), and the weight started to literally melt off. I added a half hour of cardio every couple of days and the weight came off quicker. Then I worked my way up to an hour every other day, alternating with weights. When I get pregnant in October ( first fresh cycle, no snowbabies yet ), I'll take a hiatus from the machines for a couple months until I get the go ahead from the OB. In the meantime, I'll do the swimming and easy walking. Taking a walk with my husband is so relaxing... and he never wants to do it... so I usually go alone. But anyways...

Shawna - great weight loss over there, too! Keep it up!

Heidi - how you doin over there? Incubating comfortably? Ronni - back to work today, no? Ugh, I'm so jealous of your 2ww's... mine looks more like 6. ew.

Big day's here... 11 sonogram, 2 resume review, 3:15 lesson plan review... so much to do, so little time... and I'm an icicle in my stupid apartment. They don't turn on the heat until October and shut it off in May... meanwhile, Shelly gets out of the shower and drips little ice cubes everywhere. Grr.

Ok. My life is just getting to be too dramatic. Last night at rowing I got whacked in the head with an oar and had to get three stitches. I am missing a section of my new hair-do! Dh threatened to shave my whole head to sew me up. I told him I would hit him with an oar.
Do I skip class today?

Good luck with all the appointments today everyone!!!

Morning!

I feel like such a bum already and it's only 9AM. I'm laying around watching the Today Show and checking in here. Should find a good book somewhere under all the magazines. DH is taking Stella to the zoo so she can have a good run around. We have a membership so they know all the favorite spots. The elephants having a soapy scrub down is the most fun. Kinda wanna go with them. Dh told Stella not to jump on mumma when we got yhome esterday and whenever he left the room she would sneak up to me and say "can I jump on you?" with a little smile. Such a monkey.

Susan - ouch? you poor thing, do you have a headache?

Shelly, the weightloss is marvellous. You must feel really good. I hear you on the burping up fish taste. All the pills have been doing a number on me. Yesterday I took a total of 13 pills all to be taken at varying times and quantities. A combination of: 6 x estrace, 2 x prenatals, 3 x omega 3s, 1 x medrol, 4 x tetracycline and then PIO shot on top (2cc - youch). Strangely when my tummy is upset I want to eat more so yesterday was a total binge day. Oh and I've haven't been overdoing the pineapple, however have managed to get a rash on the sides on my mouth. Attractive. Kiwifruit has the same effect.

Jen, your friend needs to get off her high horse. She has to realize you can't dedicate a whole week to her pampering. It's not your wedding for goodness sake silly girl (her not you!).

I heard from my aunt's boyfriend they are not at MIL's as expected, they decided to stay down the road at a B&B???? Hope everything is okay and that MIL isn't offended. I don't blame them if this was some kind of romantic getaway they probably don't want to have to hang with strangers. Just sometimes think they should put thought into things and have given us a headsup so as to tell MIL how many days etc... Also they only called me so that I could book a hotel in Tahiti for them as they've been asking me to make bookings throughout there trip. I've been using our c/c and they've been paying me cash but unfortunately that way the money doesn't always find it's way to paying off the c/c so it hasn't been preferrable for me, not that I would say it. I'm wondering if they have their own c/c and just don't want to use the number online??? hmmmmmm. Family.

girls- I wish I had time for more of a response but I gotta find breakfast and high tail it into work.

Susan-I think we need to put you in a plastic bubble. You poor thing! How are you feeling today? I bet you have a nice headache!

Heidi- hope you have a nice relaxing day letting those embabies get comfy. I wish I could stay home-wish I had a good excuse

Everyone else-hope you have a great day. Ronni, Grits, Alana, Martie, Rachael, Shawna, Nancy (I see you down there)-how are you?

Okay, I have been looking for a jeans jumper/overalls for awhile. The Gap used to make a really comfy one, both as shorts and as long pants, but they no longer have it. I have searched for this in many stores and even googled it! I really miss my jumpers...The metal clasps broke and they no longer worked. I must of gotten rid of them. Sigh... if any of you see jean jumpers for sale somewhere, let me know.

Morning ladies...there is no good to this for me today!

Got the call back from the clinic and the doctor who prescribed me Prometrium says "Go to a GYNO!" That's it?! Hello you prescribed me the stuff that is making me bleed to death!!! GRRR! Whatever, I wouldn't have cared if they had said it differently. Like "Oh the doctor says she cant do anything from here so please see a GYNO." Not: "I didn't know you were doing treatments so go to a GYNO." Wow so you're not getting my money or the money the government would pay you for my visits so instead of trying to deal with what you made my body do, you shovel me off on someone else????? I could just cry! On top of that, I called to get my PAP results and this lady informs me it could be THREE MONTHS before they get the results! I got really upset and said rather loudly "YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME?!" She told me no. I was ready to go through the phone and rip her face off!
The good news is, I called my OB GYN's office and told the receptionist the deal, she was so sweet and fit me in this afternoon. Thank God! Now I'm just afraid my doctor will tell me it's too risky to travel and I'll be sending my DH away without me. But I don't want to end up in the hospital away from home!!!! I did get out a piece of paper, wrote down the whole long winded and confusing story and then put my questions at the end. I'm not walking out without all my answers, I may even take a notepad and take notes!!!! Probably a good idea for forgetful me!
I'm just not looking forward to sitting in the waiting room with all those pregnant bellies, but if I have to, I guess I'll just suck it up and go from there! Right?!

Anyways, hope you are all doing well.

Susan- I agree with Jen, it's time for a bubble!
