I am coming out the night of the 30th March..My training starts the next day through Fri. the 4th April.
I have a 3 day weekend so I will probably come home, unless Mel is out flying a trip. Then I have class April 8th through Friday the 11th. This part of my training is low stress..it is basically indoc sort of stuff..I think I will be done each day by 3 or 4pm, not positive though. Are you up to doing anything on a weeknight?

Update and Catch Up! (LONG)

Ladies,
Thank you all for your well wishes. I got home from the hospital yesterday late afternoon. Jeez...what a long stay. Basically last monday when they put me on prednisone to treat my colitis (ulcerative procitis) they said I was see some sort of improvement. Well by the end of the week I was not getting better...bleeding since Jan is just plain BULLSH*T! So I had already had a follow up appt w. my Dr. Friday scheduled and I knew deep down they were going to admit me. She said I was not responding to the prednisone and need to do a sygmoidoscopy - to look and see if it has gotten worse since my colonoscopy in Feb. The good news was...it did not get worse but it was not better at all. A month of treatment and nothing.

So they admitted me and put me on IV steriods (solumedrol - sp?). And IV because my blood sugar was down. I wasn't anemic but borderline so no blood needed. Full liquid diet from Friday till Monday. Then I was able to eat. They gave me pain meds, sleeping pills because the steriod IV was getting administered 3x a day and bouncing me out of my skin. They also gave me klonopin to chill out. And then the 2 enema treatments (not to poo but to coat the area).

It was a long long long road. A few things worth mentioning....the doctor claimed this flare up happened because of my hormone changes from the m/c in January. I was also off of my meds for colitis because I was in remission and I didnt want to hurt baby and then the stress of everything. Plus when I went to Florida - and I was real sick, I was untreated for 9 days.

The good news now is...I am out....I am seeing signs of improvement. I am back on prednisone but at 60mgs. I am taking a drug called colazal and doing the 2 enema treatments. I actually LEARNED to do them myself!!! (its the little things in life that make me happy).

I will take the prednisone for 2 weeks then drop it to 40 and then see the Dr. Hopefully by April 4th this will be much better.

I am out of IVF for April unfortunately but I am okay with it. In fact, our friends and DH while I was in hospital are talking about planning a mini break in May - which means I might just wait to June to do IVF. I need my health back. This was such a bad experience.

As you can see I am wired from the prednisone. I took an ambien CR at 11:30pm and I up right now. Luckily I have today off and will return to work tomorrow.

Shawna ---- I am sooo glad you are okay and you were able to keep your tube. I am also glad to hear you are going to give IVF a shot. I was so worried.

Susan ----CONGRATZ on having a lil girl!!! I hope you start feeling better soon hun. Thanks for sharing bump pics. You are too cute!

April -----I am praying for you right now. I hope your beta brings you great news. Hang in there. And demand they give you the results asap!

Jenny ---cute bunny - where can we get one.

Josee - how are you doing? Read your blog! Sorry about the not ovulating...whats going on? PS - as far as dieting/losing weight you look perfect. But keep trying. I signed up for a 5K last night right away when I got home from May 9th. I figured it was something to train for.

Alana ----have fun baby shopping. Sooo cute!

Heidi -- tried to PM you and your box was full.

Tia --I am glad to hear about your donar news. My friend at Boston IVF has decided to do it and will prob. start cyclying in May. She has met the donar, done the paper work, etc. If you need anybody to chat to let me know.

Ronni - you are on your way!!!!!!

Deven - Hope school is treating you well. Have fun w/ your mommy on Easter.

Jennnnnnnn-- thank you hun for checking in on me when I was in the hospital. How are you doing? I dont under P4 levels, etc. Have you POAS?

Amy - how was your anniversary dinner? did you get all dolled up? I am so glad your ultrasound went perfect.

Anyway, I am going to try to lay down and catch some zzzzz's. If I forgot anybody I am sorry.

April - AGAIN - I am thinking about you and Mel.

Missed you ladies. Now I have to figure out FB.

Kelly , so glad to have you back and to know you are well! Do they have you on remicaid treatments from time to time? I hope the prednisone treatment does the trick. It is good to have some time for the inflammation to go down and for your body to get re-energized. Several of us will be cycling in June/July. Where will you go on vacation?

Since I didn't ovulate in the window they wanted (or not at all possibly), they are going to use Clomid next month to force the issue. I've never been on Clomid and I am afraid of it.

Hi girls-
I am on my way to the doctor's office and it look like they want to admit me for pneumonia. I had some blood work yesterday that came back with a high whote count and I woke up barely breathing this morning.
I need a breathing treatment and some IV antibiotics.
I will text Jen as soon as I know anything!

April- Good luck today honey! Thinking of you!!!

Kelly- Glad to see you back.

Kelly!!! I am so glad that you are back. You take all the time you need to heal your body. It is amazing after all you've been through and yet you are planning a 5k. You go girl!

Susan-pneumonia? yikes! you get better soon and when you text me I will update the girls. I am sorry hun.

Josee-with all the IJs you have done, don't worry about clomid. Not everyone has s/e effects from it. And you will know what to watch out for.
