Sorry everyone else is in the same crabby mood. But...Misery loves company and I'm so glad you girls are here to listen!

Just got the final embryo update and none made it to freeze. I've decided to assume that means they really did put the best 3 back in me and at least one of them was the "good egg".

I'm such a b i t c h that I chose to tell DH via email with one sentence. "None made it to freeze."

Are there really people in this world who try to get pregnant, do, surprise their DH with a cute way of telling him, get wrapped up in a giant hug and swung around, then go meet the parents/in-laws for dinner to break the news, and glow for 9 months while being doted on by DH?

I call bullsh*t.

SHawna, I am sorry you are having to go through this. I hope it is just hormones for you.

Susan, I am glad your head feels better. I bet your rowing teacher lets you slide, he (she) should. And yes, I am getting very excited/nervous about the FET.
Susan I am so glad your BIL is coming home safely. I cannot even imagine the relief your sister must be feeling. Maybe your pooch is feeling stressed....?Nice visual.......plastic collar, Brown U T-shirt........LOL

Jen this wedding stuff will be over soon. And then you can wallow with us.

Oh Ronni , I know that feeling sucks! Think happy thoughts for your little embies......
I am sorry none made it to freeze.... I agree they put the best 3 in.

Heidi, So many hugs in order today. Homones are a B*tch. We will be here when you get back.

ronni,
I am with you I do not think it is possible to get pregnant that way!!

well I am not sure what is going on. I have to stim for 2 more days and then go in to the doctors on Saturday which would be fine if it was not a 2 and 1/2 hour drive to the office that is open on saturday. My lining looks good, but the eggs that are in there only when from 12 to 14mm what the heck!!! Plus my bw (is that your e2?) was low, on monday it was only 49 which I guess is supressed they did not tell me this on monday. Now it is 150 something I really can't remember. the nurse said it was not great but better than monday. I have never had this problem before do you think it is because of the miscarrage? I am so worried that this is not going to be a go this month. the dr did not say that but still I am not sure what all this means.
have to work now.
Martie

Oh Girls! It sounds like everyone is in a b i t c h y mood around here today. I haven't had a fight with my DH only b/c he is working so f*cking much that I never seem him! Yesterday, I was so excited to get my stroller. DH came home (after midnight), looked at it for a couple of seconds, then wanted me to get up and show him how it folds (now??), and then was "over" it. Men. I hope my DH has some hidden love for either changing dirty diapers or grocery shopping b/c he's going to have to pitch in! You know how most women pick a neutral diaper bag so their DH will feel comfortable carrying it. Not me!! I can't picture DH volunteering to take the baby out by himself very often. I'll be lucky if he entertains the baby in front of the football game so I can take a quiet moment for a pedicure. My Mom keeps laughing at our generations expectations for our husbands!

Susan - Poor doogie. Those coneheads are not fun. The t-shirt was a really good idea! I hope you both feel better soon!

Shawna - I can not believe the doctors news. A possible d&c after this long?? Be sure they take care of you.

Jen - It does put a smile on my face when I see all the funny posts over here too. My favorite is how everyone has figured out our own special way to get around the sensors! Almost wedding time for you over there. We'll cheer you up tonight.

Ronni - I hear you on the DH talks. Surprisingly, all of my girlfriends have gotten pregnant the old fashioned way on either their first or second month of trying! One does have the perfect husband - all excited for the baby, went to the appointments, put everything together w/o any complaints, sends her flowers at home during her maternity leave - but even she can't convince her perfect husband to wake up for nightime feedings I am so sorry there are none to freeze. I know what a rough call that is. But, we all know it has absolutely no impact on those perfect embies in you right now!

Heidi - I hope your day smoothed out a little and the trip to MIL isn't too painful. At least your DH has bigger pants than you to borrow! My dh is a 32 waist with stick legs... I don't know if I could fit into his.... I'm too afraid to try!

Gosh...I think girls that we need a big group cyber hug! We are all obviously having serious hormone issues right now (add me to that list) and none of our DH's are helping matters. (add mine to that list too!) I know we have come a long way from the days of men ignoring women who spent all day chained barefoot to the kitchen. But how much further?? Although, I will say my cousin who has an 8 month old is definately a catch. He shares equally the work around the house and then comes home after a long day and cooks (actually, that is something my DH does too) and takes the baby of his wifes hands etc. My Auntie was a single mum for many years though...I wonder if that had something to do with it. He had to learn to help out very early on.

I have my appointment for the D&C bright and early tomorrow morning. You wouldn't believe it though, I started bleeding this morning! I'm still going to go as I don't want to end up like what is currently happening to you Shawna hun, however I also know its a huge fight to get doctors in Ontario to do the procedure. I didn't know this but its protocol here to let a patient miscarry naturally. They have been known to make women wait months for it. The official reason is its better for women to let nature do its thing....however I suspect its more about saving on costs by not doing surgery. Cheap fascists!! lol, oh well, I say 'bring it on!!'. In the grump I'm in I pity the poor doctor tomorrow who dares to decide what I do!!

Oh, and Heidi, I'm not a sleepwalker, but I'm a talker and like you a bit of a scrabbler. I'll grab at stuff or turn lights on too. My sister was the walker....actually more like stalker. She used to yell and scream and run around the house so loudly it actually took a minute to realize she was still asleep. Needless to say, I asked to not share a room with her very very early on.

Hey girls - sorry for my ranting earlier today. I'm a little better now and hope to be even better tomorrow. I'm sure DH is as frustrated with me as I am with him.

Alana - Good luck tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you and hope it goes well. I'm sure it will be a relief to have it behind you.

Martie - Hope your 2 more days of stimming are just what you need. Rachael and I both have histories of being slow responders...welcome to the slow club! Hopefully that's all it is and you'll be well on your way after your appointment Saturday!

Susan - You did make me smile today with your poor doggie description. Between the t-shirt and the cone the poor thing must have been a sight!

Shawna - How you holding up?

Jen - Have you risen from the doldrums of blah yet? Maybe when your new jumpers arrive you'll feel better. I went shopping at lunch today and spent money I shouldn't have but I've got to find something to wear to the high school reunion so I'll feel fabulous. I can only imagine the dread you're feeling with the wedding weekend looming. You're a trooper - really!

Heidi - Are you still taking it easy? I'm trying. Went to acupuncture today as my acupuncturist told me I should. It's 6 days past retrieval for me so she's thinking if they're implanting it would start today. So more needles for me today! Are you feeling anything? I'm having some cramping and twinges. Trying hard not to over-analyze anything. After I eat, I'm completely bloated and have a solid tummy. Then in the morning, flat as a pancake again.

Grits - You're next in line for FET!!! Can you believe it's only a week away? I'm getting really excited for you!!! Thanks for the cyberhug earlier. I needed it. Not only am I a hag at home right now but I'm no prize at work either. Just evil. I'm hoping it has something to do with the Estrace and PIO. That reminds me...just about PIO time now. Fun.

Ronni-
I am sorry about the embies, but like you said you got the best three and one or more of those are going to give you your BFP. Fingers crossed here foryou.

Alana- Good luck and I'll be thinking about you tomorrow. Big cyber hugs.

Today and yesterday- DH and I are getting along again.
After I had a fight with his secretary and told him offf about it things seemed t have gotten better. Long story, but I mistakenly took his secretary out to dinner to make her feel better. She is going through a tough divorce after leaving her abusive husband of 12 years who also beat the kids. Nice guy.
Well, I opened up t her about IVF and the stree it puts on a marraige and she went back and not only told my husband everything I said but concocted stories up about me and things that I DID NOT say. I made sure she knew and DH knew that was crossing the line and yes it was my stupid fault for opening up and trusting her, but she back stabbed me and purposely tried to get us in a fight.
She is dead meat when I see her again. Good thing she is fat and ugly!

Ok, I am on a roll tonight too. My hair is turning orange and I just had it done last week. ughhh..

Jen- Where are you tonight?
Rachael- There are some really cute diaper bags these days. You can kiddingly have DH go on line and choose his color scheme!!!!

Mot much else here! Good night. (for now)

Susan, your DH's secretary sounds like a b i t c h! Thats gratitude for you...give her a nice dinner and she backstabs you. Sounds like she has a bad case of jealousy and just because her life is falling apart she wants to destroy yours too. I'd definately avoid her in the future if you can...shes one of those 'toxic' people we are all supposed to stay away from. Only a complete cow (kiwi phrase there...hehe) would go back and tell the husband what you had said. ARGH...give me her address...I'll sort her out!!

Oh, and your poor little (big) pooch. A bucket AND a t-shirt. My puppy lasted all of about one hour with one of those things on his head...he looked so mortified I gave in and tied a sock to his paw instead.

Ronni, I'm sorry I missed the embryos not freezing too. I'm really really sad that happened...however I also think you won't be needing them, that this cycle its going to be the ONE!! So hang in there and I bet we see your bfp anyday now. Actually, when will you start poas?? (ignore me...I posted on another thread to Hannah in IVF that she should NOT poas anymore...they are pure evil those sticks)

I think Jen is stuck at the Champagne bar portion of the wedding weekend festivities if I remember correctly. Poor Jen - we're thinking of your brave soul back here!

Ronni - That 2ww is always stressful. How do you not overanalyze every little thing?? We're all here with you. Can you at least do something relaxing on Sunday? Just go ahead and plan a nice outdoor activity for the two of you? I hate to even ask but are you going to POAS this time? I know the tests were rough last time around.

Alana - Big cyberhug from all of us for tomorrow. I know your DH is going with you and then off to the mountain cabin for the weekend right? I hope you don't have to fight with the doctor tomorrow. Your body is obviously ready to move on.

Susan - I completely agree with Alana.... that woman sounds like evil! Stay away. She's trying to create drama in everyone's lives around here. Something you absolutely don't need!

Ewww.... my dog was just pacing at the back door which seems to be his international symbol that the silent puker is about to strike. Luckily, I made it to the door quick! Ahhh... those little things He has this habit of drinking his entire bowl of water and then just can't hold it down. Total guy. Any woman would have learned her lesson the second time it happened! My female dog never did this.

Alana-
Oh beleive me, his secretary is not going to want to come near me when I am finished with her. She will pay! ARRRRGGGG!!!!!

I took the lampshade off Riley this afternoon. I had put it on her while I was gardening and she stood in the same spot, not moving for one hour, drooling. She was so scared. I felt awful. I will tie something around her wounds tomorrow. Poor baby. I will have to post a pathetic picture of her though.
DH is already snoring next to me... Ughhh. I am going to the other room.

Whats up with our puppies this week? We have found out one of ours probably has a heart mumour. The breed tends to get them as they get older but its still horrible to find out. I am always sad they only live for such a short time. Mine are seriously like my babies...I'm going to be devastated when they go. But what can you do? Dogs only live between 8-12 years depending on the breed. Its not fair really.

Rachael, your pooch sounds just like a 'bloke' (another Aussie/NZ phrase) drinking more than he can handle. Very funny. Men never ever learn do they??

I feel so outnumbered by the males in my house! But, yes, we beat them IQ wise My female dog was brilliant in comparision... and she had a heart murmur almost her whole life and never affected her. I have one too!

I think my pup made it about an hour with the cone head too. It was after his "malehood" had been removed and he couldn't even move around our townhouse in Philly without running into something. Now we don't even bother having the vet send him home with the cone. Just heavy sedation meds!

Girls! I missed you today

No, I bailed on the champagne bar. And I had a good excuse. We had a big meeting this AM and we really need to have some results. It hurts that I am not going to be in tomorrow so I had a very long long day at work. I just got home about a half hour ago. Then the lady who was altering my dress called at 3pm and asked for more time. That was fine cause I was in the middle of an experiment. Then she called at 4pm and asked if I had wanted the dress taken in cause she didn't take good notes and there were no pins. WHAT!!! I needed it taken in on the top, let out on the bottom. I went over at 5pm to try it on and she had taken it out but FORGOT TO TAKE OUT THE LINER! It was tight! Well I went back to work and came back at 7pm to get it.

Anyway, I called the bridizilla earlier and told her that either I had to sacrifice most of tomorrow or work late tonight. She said work late tonight. Yay! I do have to go in very early in the AM, but only for a short period of time.

Ronni-I am sorry about the other embies, but don't worry...you got the good ones in there and they are gonna stick!

Susan-no PIAC yet. I just took my HCG on Sunday!!! Give my eggie some time to meet up with DH's boys! That is, if they don't kill the boys cause that is how I feel about DH right now.

Speaking of, I gotta go eat or he will be cranky. I got more to say so I will be back soon.

continuation...

Alana-check in after your appointment when you can. I am glad that you are getting it taken care of. I wish you didn't have to go through this.

Susan- your poor doggie. I would love to see a photo.

Martie- sorry you got to stim longer. I hope it brings your follies to ready on Saturday. The drive to the Dr. sucks though. Although it could be worse. I think Shawna has to drive 8 hours!!!

Okay, I gotta go get some wet cat food (probably a can of tuna, Pet Smart is too far to go now) and collard greens for Maggie. Speaking of Maggie, I have to show you these photos... I came home at lunch (DH was here with some guy installing our new water heater and humidifier). Anyway, Maggie came out of her cage and was looking for the cat food (DH moved it). She started to try and bite DH's toes. I made him get me some cheese. Maggie almost attacked me for the cheese! I put it in my mouth so she can take it that way and she did...
Okay- I look really bad, but that is the face I make when a iguana tries to lick my lips cause there is cheese residue on them!
