thanks ladies, i have a love/hate relationship with u/s days. but i think it's gonna be great, i just have to keep telling myself that!
tia, that is so exciting! good luck at your appt. the ball is really rolling for you! look how much has changed for you in the past couple of months. god works in mysterious ways. i need some opinions! you all know i teach 7th grade, and 13 yr olds are smarter than you'd think. i think the are starting to realize something is going on. my clothes are getting tight, i am not feeling good, and i have a dr. appt every other week. if you were me, when would you let them in on the good news? part of me wants to go ahead and tell them and part of me is scared to. ugh! what would you do??

 ME: 36 (low ovarian reserve, poor egg quality, endo) DH: 37 (inconsistent counts, low motility) TTC 4 years IUIx5 IVFx5 BFP on final IVF! 12/19 First U/S(5w6d) TWINS!! saw two sacs, one heartbeat, baby b a little behind we hope he/she catches up!   beta 26,000.Second U/S 1/2 Lost baby B. One healthy baby now measuring exactly on target with HR of 155. 3rd u/s baby b still there but getting smaller  baby A is perfect, moving around and has a HR of 172.1/24 OB appt-baby measuring ahead-HR 173. 3/19 it's a girl!!!! Well I failed my 1 hour sugar test so bad that they do not even want me to take the 3 hour test, so I have to talk to a nurse next wed about my diet. I started crying when the doctor told me. This kinda changes some of my birthing ideas. 1st she said they would induce me at 39 weeks if i have not already had the baby as long as she is not too big. otherwise I will have to have a c-section, which is the one thing I did not want to do. I have had stomach sugery and have a 12 inch scar on my stomach, it was the worse thing to get over. The up side is that I get to have more ultrasounds. DARN IT!!

oh martie, i am sorry. sorry if this is a stupid question, but can a change in diet improve things? maybe you won't have to have that c-section.

Well the ob said that for some woman the diet does fix things and they go on to have the baby normally. I also did not want to do any meds if we did vaginal birth but from what I have heard about being induced I am not sure what to do! I will have to investigate this further and ask more questions. I felt so stupid I just could not stop crying, the ob was really nice. I just want my body to work right for one thing!

i'm sorry martie. you know what, when you are holding that baby in your arms, you won't care what you went through to get it there. you will be so happy! and in the meantime, don't give up hope yet. things can improve.

I'm apologizing ahead of time b/c I still haven't caught up on the posts from last night
 But, wanted to wish Amy and Tia good luck with their exciting days!! Martie - I'm sorry to hear you failed the sugar test. I know a diet change can help tremendously so don't get too frustrated yet. Take it one step at a time. DH and I had a great anniversay night. No batteries required We went out to a super expensive dinner which we haven't done in a year. I was very excited to wear a new outfit which was a size 8! Then, after many glasses of wine and champagne, came home to a pact of a non-tv night. We just talked and relaxed together and slept in this morning. And, my Mom survived too! Aiden is still there so I'm about to shower and get him. She put him to bed at 10pm, slept till a bottle at 3am, and then went back to sleep for her till 8:30am. She loved it! Gotta run back to reality....If you've got some time, check out fb today....

Thanks Amy and Rachael I am sure I am just having one of those "just found out" moments and all will be well once I get myself back together!
Rach, your evening sounds wonderful. Did you actually sleep through the night? Size 8 good for you! I do not remember if I have ever wore a size 8, maybe when I was 8? Did you feel like you were on a first date again? I am so happy for you that everything was so wonderful. My BIL, SIL, MIL, FIL, nieces and nephews are going to be down in this area this weekend so we are going to be visiting with them. Which means we are diving 45 minutes to go see them on Saturday at my other SIL and BIL's house. Should be fun they have not seen me since x-mas and I am much bigger now!
