Martie, the only reason you can sell a crack-house for that much is because the Toronto market has gone crazy. I think its slowing down a bit now, but we are located in an 'up and coming' area (its seedy as hel l but they still move here...crazy people) and its relatively close to downtown. Most houses in this area are total dumps, so even just putting some paint on the walls ups the value. I guess its big city syndrome, its expensive to buy in any of the larger places. In Sydney, Australia the average house price would have to be around $800,000, and my sister in Auckland, New Zealand just finished purchasing the teeniest wee bungalow you ever saw for a whopping $750,000. Its crazy out there!!

Bridgit! I am sorry about your losses. I was fortunate to have AF come right at 4 weeks with all of mine, including the ruptured ectopic (if you can call getting AF fortunate ). I would definitely talk to your RE. He/she can help you get your cycle back.

Amy-beautiful pictures! Looks like a little gummy bear you have in there! Not the flesh eating pac man that your DH had once thought

Amy - Your bean looks beautiful!! Great pictures. What a wonderful experience for you and dh!

Alana - Your agent was charging you for marketing?? He/she should be paying for it out of pocket as part of the commission eventually to get repaid. It's part of the risk of taking on a new listing and why I'm super picky about what I take on since you have to spend a lot of money upfront. Your market sounds like the philly market when I lived there. Sold both my homes first weekend on the market. I'm happy to help if you've got any questions!

The point is to make your progesterone rise like it would with ovulation (often you won't ovulate after a D&C) so that when you stop taking them the rapid drop in progesterone will bring on AF. Just like in a natural cycle.

Thanks so much for the response Alana. I have been taking herbals to help with the progesterone but they may not be as strong as Provera or something prescribed. If I don't get it by 8 weeks, I will request a prescription to stimulate it!

Congrats to you!! How are you feeling so far?

Bridget, I am so sorry to hear of your losses... my heart just breaks for you. I haven't read past your post, so I don't know if your question has been answered... but they put me on Provera for five days to trigger a period on at least three different occasions. Thanks Shelly! I'm glad to hear that there is something out there to take. I am getting anxious. My OB said to wait two cycles before TTC again and I feel like I should have had at least had one already!! How quickly does it work once you take it?
