Passed the tissue today

Hi Ladies,

FYI...this is a TMI message for sure. This is just describing what I think was the miscarriage today. So, not sure how to feel about this, but I got up to use the bathroom this afternoon and felt something wet basically fall out of my vagina into my underpants. I have been wearing a pad the past few days because I've had bleeding, but today has definitely started the most of the cramps and heavier bleeding. When I got to the bathroom it looks as though I have passed the embryo and tissue. It was like this gray and pink blob. I actually touched it and you can't pull it apart. I called my RE to see if I could bring it in for testing but am waiting for them to call me back. Part of me is glad this is over now and has passed through me. The other part is extremely sad that this long journey has come to an end in such a disappointing way. Now I just have to pick up the pieces and try again. Thanks everyone for being here to talk to me. I hope to be back in the thick of things at the end of the summer.

Bye,
Sarah

Sarah, I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that you will be able to move forward and try again. Dont let this be the end of your dream but the beginning of your journey. Take as much needed time to heal from the sadness, hoping to see your next BFP very soon!

I'm so sorry to hear you had to experience this. It definately sounds like you passed the embryo as when I had my natural miscarriage it looked as you described. If you can, place it in a sealed container in the fridge until you hear from you doctor as it will last longer that way and having it tested is a good way to get some answers and eventually peace of mind.

In the meantime, you have just experienced something thats very physically and emotionally draining, so take as long as you need to mourn the loss of your little one, and be very kind to yourself the next few days. The loss never really goes away completely, but it does get easier.
