Hi! I am new to this forum, and I am starting with a question.

This morning I had very light spotting (brownish in color, with a discharge) that lasted for all of an hour. No cramping, no backache, no symptoms of af at all. I am 9 dpo, and my af is due Thursday, which is 5 days from now. I have no children currently, but we have been TTC for 3 months now. Could this be implantation bleeding? If so, how soon should/could I test to find out if this is really pregnancy related?

I definitly had implantation bleeding starting at about 8dpo and it continued for a few days. In fact it actually was heavy enought that I thought for sure had come to town. Well it was very light and spratic so I took at 25mi pregnancy test 13dpo and it was an extremly faint positive.

Otherwise it could be a LH factor where your don't have enough progesterone in your system.

I hope its the first case like it was for me!!!

I am 10 dpiui and last night I started spotting a light pink brownish colour. AF is not due for another 6 days. However for this IUI I was on Clomid, Repronex, Estrace and Progesterone suppositories. Does anyone know if any of these can give you false pregnancy symptoms? My first IUI was a success and I felt like this - I miscarried at 7 weeks. This is my 4th try and I am hoping this is implanation spotting. I had 5 follicles this time and dh had 153 million swimmers after wash with a 96% mobility. Anyone have any thoughts?

Hi, this happened to my sister and she waited 7 days after the bleeding to do a blood test. Go see your doc for peace of mind!

I'm soooo glad to have found this post. I knew I had read it somewhere. I'm still holding out hope! "worldsgreatest aunt" I still believe you are god sent! It was your post that said you could test out your HCG everyday after the HCG injection. Amazing! Then I was terrified that this whole cycle had been blown cause I started testing 5days post HCG injection. You responded to my email and said not to worry. Cause you experienced the same thing and have had a successfull pregnancy. Then I started to spot on day8, then on day9...so I called my RE and they said no it wasn't implantation cause it was 2days in a row & my HCG metabilized to quickly. They scheduled a baseline U/S & urine PT..it was negative. They said there was no reason to do a beta. I asked if it was too soon & their response was "No cause you started your period." WTF! I knew I had read this post of when your spotting had started and how long it was. I've gone through the forums trying to find it again. Without success & went to the appt. Then when I was really starting to believe that I was just a zelit & kinda crazy...I came across your post again. SO I HAVE HOPE AGAIN! Thank You!! Now I'm gonna keep testing till I start (bright red ).. or till about 16dpiui...just incase. YEAH!!! THANKS!!!
