New to site - help?

Hi,

I am very new to this whole fertility madness and might I add that it is so very stressful! We found out we were expecting on April 22, but the blood test verified low HCG levels. I went back four days later to have my levels tested again, and they had dropped from 20 to 8.5. I miscarried two days later.

I have been seeing a fertility specialist, and this month we tried some "assistance". I had an ultrasound to see if the clomid I took on cycle day 5 did anything, and she said I had a "big, healthy egg". Two days after that, I took an HCG injection and then proceeded to have "timed intercourse". Two days after that I started on Prometrium and have been taking it for a week now.

So, here is the latest today - I woke up with spotting/bleeding - could it be implantation bleeding? Then I had to go for labs to have my progesterone checked. She said it needs to be around 15 in order for my body to sustain the pregnancy (if said timed intercourse was successful), but my level was 8.3. So she put me on extra Prometrium (now taking vaginally at night before bedtime and then 30 minutes before I get out of bed in the morning.

The next step is to take a pregnancy test (bloodwork) on Monday, June 29th. This whole process is so very stressful, so I joined this site so I could ask questions and get some advice on what in the world is going on with my body, as well as not feel so alone. All my friends have kids, or have become pregnant recently - and none of them have ever miscarried (thank God because it sucks). But they just don't understand what I am going through. I am a very positive person usually, so I don't want all this waiting, watching, wondering to make me nuts. Help?

So in conclusion -

Could todays episode be implantation bleeding? It's been 9 days since ovulation and timed intercourse.

Should I assume I cannot be pregnant if my Progersterone was at 8.3 even after taking Prometrium for a week already?

Thanks everyone! God bless you and your families today and always! Any advice is SO VERY APPRECIATED!

Sincerely,

I really don't know everything you're going through because I've never gotten pregnant so I've never miscarried. But from what I understand you can have implantation anywhere from 6-12 days past ovulation, so I would say that it could def. be implantation bleeding!
