Cramps in 2ww- eek

I am freaked out because for the past couple of days light cramps have been on and off. Today it's stronger (enough to be slightly distracting but not out right pain).

Having hcg test on Saturday the 12th. Worried that since I'm cramping, af is on her darn way. Also, no boobie pain like I've had with past pregnancies.

I am aware that it could be implantation, but isn't it a bit late for implantation cramping??

Has this happened/happening to anyone else?

Thanks

This hasn't happened to anyone? Someone answer if so.

I'm sorry I can't help chica. I have a weird pain in the bottom of my tummy when I stretch (hence no yoga and I'm sooooooooo tense...*sigh*) but no cramping yet.

Maybe it's all normal though. My doc said I'd feel some weird stuff as my ovaries shrank back to normal. You think it could be that?

IT'S GONNA WORK FOR US!

I have heard of cramping going both ways. I have seen many women on this site say that they were pregnant after cramping so hang in there!!!

I have been pergo 4 times (only 1 successful) and each one was different. The first time I did feel like AF was coming and I did end up having a miscarriage at about 6 weeks. At least, that's when I started bleeding. My BPT that time was weak from the beginning. The 2nd time I didn't feel anything at all. I was bloated definitely but didn't feel crampy or anything. Again, the baby stopped growing at the 6 week point and I had a D & C about 3 weeks after that since I wasn't spontaneously bleeding. The 3rd I can't even really say because I started bleeding the SAME DAY I took a HPT that was positive. Now, with my 4th, which resulted with my BEAUTIFUL daughter, I totally thought I was not pregnant. We had been seeing a RE by then and I had just had a Lap in January, had my period in Feb and got prego in March. I even stopped taking my progesterone for about 5 days because I was SURE I wasn't pregnant. When I didn't get my period I took a test and was shocked to see it positive! One thing I did notice was that my boobs did hurt, then stopped hurting when I had my MC's. Much like before AF and then, once it comes your better. I knew I wasn't pregnant this time w/ IVF because my boobs barely hurt anymore. I ended up starting AF 2 days before my Beta.

Soooo......I think either way it could be pregnancy or AF. It really sucks that a lot of the symptoms are the same. Just keep thinking positive thoughts!!

Geeeez, thanks a bunch guys! Just kidding. The cramps have subsided for now, but every few hours I keep taking a squeeze (if you know what I mean), hoping for some soreness.

I'm not outta the race for this cycle yet dang-it!

I sure hope this is ++ on sat.I just got home from the vest and my 13 yr old golden ret. has two cancerous tumors that they need to remove tomorrow. My poor baby. It sure has put things into perspective.

Thanks gals for the input -

Lou Lou,

Please don't panic. One of my best friend just did her 3rd IVF and she had cramps in the 2ww and she was totally hysterical, crying and knew with all certainty if failed. She's pregnant! And just saw the heartbeat so please try to stay calm. Sending you good thoughts!

They did x-rays and he looks all clear inside. He is my miracle pup. He's already had two other bouts with cancer that never spread. He's amazing, and full of spunk too!

They'll just remove them tomorrow and give him a better look-sie to make sure they got it all. He can come home tomorrow night for his mum to nurse him with hugs, kisses, and a massage! He loves massages!

Thanks for caring-
Lor

If he can beat it once, he can beat it again. Don't you love how they continue to surprise you. My oldest has had multiple surgeries too but he's so strong and so smart, he's my baby!

I just had my transfer ICSI on 7-29-06 and I had some cramping 8-2-06. My husband paged our doctor and she said it could be good news but to early to tell if it's a period coming. She said it could be my uterus trying to expand or the embryos' are implanting. I transferred 3 with having 2 failed attempts. They lasted 3 days and are very light now, I hardly notice them. Wish me luck and I wish you luck as well!!

I was agreeing with you. I noted my typo though...I meant to say "You said A mouthful!" LOL! One of THE most frustrating things to me is that the symptoms of AF and of early pregnancy can mostly be the same. It will DRIVE you nuts!
