Infertilty Meds & PG
Is there a possiblity that the meds (HCG shot, Progestrone & Clomid) can all provide symptoms of a false pg? i.e swollen breasts, frequent urination, tiredness, etc. I've been feeling these symptoms and others on and off the past week or so. I don't know whether or not if this is a pg or false pg due to meds.

1st Cycle: 8/7/06: Clomid 100mg 5 days
Follicle (4): 18.5 - 23.5 - 24 - 24
HCG Trigger Shot: 8/21/06
1st IUI: 8/22/06 ~ Failed! 9/5/06
Beta Testing: 9/5/06 ~ Negative

yep. sucks doesn't it? i was on clomid, progesterone and hcg for a couple of months and each month i felt the same way. sorry! hang in there!

Yes! The drugs mimic pg so we have to be careful about false hope. I have terribly sore/swollen breasts but can't get excited b/c that could be from the meds. I hope it is BFP for you tho!

I've heard from a lot of those on this site that they had PG symptoms because of the extra hormones but unfortunately were BFN. However, on the flip side some felt the symptoms and were pg or didn't feel any symptoms and were pg. It's a horrible waiting game and the symptoms don't help it along but be patient, you'll find out soon enough.
