Unhappy I want to stick my head in an oven!!!
I am SO frustrated! I went to the RE today and I only have ONE mature follicle (17mm). I have been taking 150 IU's of Gonal F and thought FOR SURE I would have at least 3. What are my chances with just one???? I just want to cry! My RE wants to do the IUI on Friday.

Honey, it only takes one! Millions of people get pregnant by producing only one egg a month. Don't get your hopes up because you were expecting more, we can't control that. Stay positive and stay focused, one is plenty!

That is a good point...most conceptions occur with just one egg! We're cheering for ya!

One good egg is GREAT!!! Many people - even with IUI get pg all the time with one! Good luck!

Thank you ladies..I guess I am just still in shock. I have talked to dh and told him that people get prego every month with just one, so I'm not going to be negative!! We will just have to pray that this is THE one!

In the last year have had two unexplained MCs (8 weeks, 5 weeks), plus
one trisomy 13 pregnancy ended at 12 weeks (8/06)

Tried two cycles of IVF with preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) in January and February 2007 to avoid another chromosomal abnormality, but didn't get pregnant.
Back to IUI...
May IUI...BFP!
Last ultrasound (8 weeks) shows twins!

I know its a bit of a downer when your egg count is low but as others said..."it only takes one".I hope this turns out true for you this time and we get to hear a good news from you soon.And hey..the oven thing..thats not a good idea..it a better idea to stick your head out and fight your IF All the best!!Stay positive.

2nd u/s on 7/31 - 1 of the embryos stopped growing
3rd u/s and 1st visit to Ob-gyn on 8/14
4th u/s 10/13 Its a BOY!!!!

9/06 Clomid -- failed (did not ovulate)
10/06 Femara -- failed (did not ovulate)
11/29/06 IUI with Follistim & Novarel -- BFN
1/27/07 2nd IUI cancelled due to hyperstimulation
3/23/07 3rd IUI cancelled due to poor response
Currently taking time off treatment to lose weight, get healthy and save for IVF. (Lost 35 pounds!)
Taking Metformin & Fertility Blend.
