I've been taking 200 mg of tussin (tablet form) a.m. & p.m. I've also been taking the same amount of Evening Primrose Oil... a.m. & p.m.

i am taking tussin but lord it is so nasty. The nurse said for me to take 2 tablespoons per day so I took one at lunch and before bed. My cm is not to bad but clomid is drying me up. Has anyone starting having o pain. I had some last month but nothing this month.
Just curious???

I have got - opk the last two days. last month I got my + opk on cd12 and 13. I am going to start bding tonight!

quick question I have heard if you bd everyday its bad on the semen. that it doesnt have enough time to produce good swimmers. But dh did some research via internet and could not find it. Let me know if you have heard the same thing.

Instead of taking the liquid form of Tussin you could just buy any tablet that only has one active ingredient (Guaifenesin). That is the same active ingredient that is in Tussin. The tablets can be distasteful too but not as bad as the liquid form. I haven't had any o pain but I'm still not sure that I am o'ing. Temps were down yesterday and then moved up today. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

As for frequent bd and semen quality... I have also heard varying reports. The books that I have say that as long as semen quality is good and dh is healthy that there is no reason to skip days... hope this helps. Not a very good answer.

lorrie, i've heard the same thing. as long as your dh's sperm count and motility is fine, there isn't any reason to skip a day. it is recommended that men who have a low count and poor motility to skip every other day to allow the number of swimmers to build up.

i'm taking tablets instead of the liguid robitussin. i gag every time i try to take that stuff! the mucinex tablets were a little more expensive, but worth it for me since i'd rather not be gagging all over the house.

i got -opk's yesterday and today as well, but bd this morning and two nights ago. we'll bd tomorrow and thursday before i leave for my parents.

no o pain for me, but i didn't have any discomfort last month until after i ovulated.

I am going to bd everyday until o. I hope that i o pretty soon.

Lorrie,
I am cd 20 now. Temps have not gone up. (Yesterday it jumped a bit to 97.7 but today it is back down to 97.3). I am confused of course. DH and I filled out paperwork yesterday for our local RE. If no o this month we are going to move on and get an appointment with her. I think that I may have o'd last month very late... like day 24 or 25 (lots of ewcm on those two days). My cycles have been running long ever since I started taking temps in August. Long in the time before my temps go up and very short (7-10 days) after they go up. Clomid doesn't seem to be correcting that.
It does figure that someone who doesn't want to be pg has no trouble with it at all. It happened for me that way once before... Here's to girls who want to be pg getting knocked up. Have a good day!

another - opk today, but other signs are favorable (cm, cp, etc).

i've been taking my temps, most mornings at 7 a.m., but they seem to be anywhere between 96.8 and 97.08, nothing ever steady for more than a day or two, who knows.

lorrie, any + opk yet?

The blues are tough to deal with... I really struggled earlier this month too so I feel your pain. I have to say that I've been feeling better since I began posting here. At least all the baby making practicing is fun...

i totally agree the bding is fun.

OH i am having a cramping on my right side. I hope it is o pain and not another cyst.

I am so weepy. I cant control it. I hope it is just because I am going to o. If I get a bfn I think I am going to take a little break like 1 month off. I need to feel normal again. These hormones are insane.
I feel so sorry for dh I am a royal B!@#%$H.
Talking to yall makes me feel better.at least i am not alone right moriarty. Last month was really good. I am beginning to wonder if that really was a false postive or if i had a chemical pregnancy?
Who knows.

happy bding

i also agree ladies, the practice is fun, i'm glad that we haven't yet gotten to the point where it's death march style, and i'm hoping i get pregnant before that happens.

i really haven't been feeling emotional this time around. last month, the cyst was making me very weepy and i was crying at anything and everything. i hope it doesn't happen this month after i o.

lorria, i've read that a false positive's are VERY rare, so maybe it was a chemical pregnancy.

was scares me is if it was a chemical pregnancy. i really should not be trying this month but i already took the clomid and everything. They say most woman dont even know that they were pregnant so i dont know but i am so weepy and emtional it is crazy.

so if most woman dont know that they are pg that they would still ttc right because they never knew.
i only knew because i tested early.

most women who have a chemical pregnancy just have a period that may or may not be a little later and is often a little heavier the first day or so...at least that's what i've read.

and you're right, most women don't even know and so don't change their plans regarding ttc. i wouldn't worry that ttc this month is a problem.

thanks that makes me feel soooooooo much better.
All i keep thinking to my self is come on ++opk come on. at least this is not a stressful as the tww. I hate the tww is so dreadful. BUT i cant wait to be in it.

How are yall feeling today?? i feel really good. I am not as moody today as i have been lately. Hopefully that is a good sign. Sorry about calling yall yall I am from TX can you tell.hehehehehe

I have another question for you guys. Okay I read somewhere that if you bd late at night to consider that morning bding. I am wondering if they meant once you were asleep and didnt get up afterwards or if they mean if it is after midnight??? just wondering I would much rather bd at night when I know that I will not be getting up afterwards. it just makes me feel like the semen stays there longer and has a better chance of more going up there even though i know that the actually chance of concieving is like 12-13% each month. its mental i guess for me.
Just thought I would share my point of view.. let me know if you have read anything different regarding bding at night.
