Implantation Spotting/Bleeding and BFP Time Line

For those who experienced implantation spotting/bleeding and then had a BFP, how many days after your spotting did you experience a positive HPT? In reading, implantation spotting "usually" occurs 6-10 days after ovulation. I know that I personally had a BFP 10 DPO... but can't remember where that fell in relation to my implantation spotting.

So, if you remember , how many days after you first spotted did you get your BFP?

Just wondering.

I am wondering something similar. I am 8 dpo as of today. On 3 and 4 dpo, I was having pain near my right ovary (not cramping) that made bd'ing very painful, but my doctor said not to worry, it probably meant that I ovulated. Then yesterday, 7dpo, I woke up with lower back pain and menstrual like cramps that last all day (even though af is not due for another 6 days). I woke up this morning with no spotting and no more cramping.

Keep in mind, when I O on my own, I have a 35 day cycle, but its been awhile since that happened. This was my first round of Clomid, 50 mg, days 5-9.

So I am wondering, could this be implantation pain? Should I be cautiously optimistic about what this could be?

Any replies would be helpful. I tried this on another website and no one really answered my question.

The answer to my own question, meaning my own timeline, was spotting on 8DPO, positive at 10DPO.

Was your implantation bleeding accompanied by cramping that felt nearly identical to menstrual cramps?

And still no spotting but cramps have returned.

My day-before-period cramping is usually rather light but my lower abdomen is usually very "gassy" sounding right before my period comes and that's exactly what happened in this case as well.

I have not experienced bleeding or spotting just the cramps it is almost like a prickly feeling. I am 5dpo and had them on 3dpo and 4dpo. So for me I think it is to early for any kind of implantion signs. Cyst maybe for me? I talked to my mother-in-law she said that sometimes it happens because your uterus is sore. But I would bet $ on it.

I'm being cautiously optimistic, but I won't be surprised if I get a BFN.

As for your pains on days 3 and 4, that's what I had, and my OB/GYN said that a cyst was only ONE possibility and that I shouldn't assume it was a bad thing.

With dd I had spotting on days 10, 11, 12 & 13 of a 3 day transfer. I tested on day 9 & it was BFN. I did not test again until day 15 & it was BFP. Hope this helps.

11 dpo, haven't taken a hpt yet.

the cramps have continued by the cm has lessened some, but its still creamy white cm, just the amount has changed.

my doc says that if i don't get af and have a bfn, that i have to wait a week until i visit them.

well af is due tomorrow, so if she is a no show. i'm really anxious to take the test, but also really apprehensive because i am scared to see the bfn.

i'm definitely still have the creamy white cm, but now it's all up near my cervix.

i've read clomid can cause cramps in the second half of your cycle, but i'm not sure that a week's worth of menstrual cramps is what they meant.

let me know what your doctor tells you about the cramping, so i know what to ask my doctor about.

i'll keep my fingers crossed for both of us!
