HELP! i am new here and i need some positive advice. been TTC for over 2 yrs. now. there's nothing wrong with me my period is regular, i ovulate every cycle and my eggs are good. my DH has slow motility (slow sperm) so i went to see a specialist for some help. on Nov.15th, i had a follicle scan my DR said that i had about 3-5 good eggs. then had my first IUI done on Nov.16th with a HCG trigger shot. my doctor also said that after the sperm wash my DH had a 45 million count which is rerally good. then i had my second IUI which was on Nov.17th, after the sperm wash he said there was a 20 million count. prior to all this my doctor had put me on Clomid 50 mg on the 5th day of my cycle for three days. i'm now 10dpiui and i don't feel anything. i would think the odds would be with me not against me since everything looked good. i just hope i get a BFP! i have to wait 4-5 more days to find out. i'm a little nervous. can anyone share their positve experience thanks alot!

amally, Sure it can happen the first time! I have a 14 year old and a 12 year old to prove it. After it happened the second time my dr said I should buy a lottery ticket. I hope the same for you!!

Sorry, my PC is playng games with me. Any how:I like you thought that once I'll start IUIs I'll get pregnant right away. Dr told me even if you are super healthy (just like with natural cycles) you don't necessary get pregnant right away. It has to be right time. But he also told me that each month its 15% for me. So next month its 30%, 3d month its 45% and so on. So, you are on the right truck girl, you'll get there very soon.

IUI#1 clomid(50)days3-7. Five follies,biggest 17mm&13mm. HSG shot(24 hours). SA 40mil.
IUI#2 clomid(50)days4-8. One follie20mm. HSG shot(24 hours). SA35mil.
IUI#3 clomid(50)days3-7. One follie 21mm. HSG shot(24 hours). SA40mil.
IUI#4 clomid(100)days2-6. Two follies 26mm & 28mm . HCG shot(36 hours). SA 37.8mil

hi, new to site

Read posts and I thought "wow, are these ladies reading my diary?" I have been ttc 6mo. Relatively short but still frustrating. I am convinced that being on the bpc for ~15 yrs contributed to my not ovulating. It took 2 clomid cycle and a ruptured cyst.
This month did hsg (normal) and then u/s with positive ls surge. Not big enough on 11/28, returned on 11/30. Finally big!! Did hcg shot then IUI about 15 minutes later.
Waiting sucks!

So I had my first IUI was on 2/2/09, and I'm going crazy mad with the wait. My hubby and I have been TTC for over 2 years. I am also on Prometrium which has made me feel really crampy. I really really hope this works...we had to pay out of pocket because the insurance I pick had just changed their policy to not pay for this kind of treatment and I didn't find out until after I was at the doctor's office.

i just had my first two IUI's on 2/8 and 2/9 and i'm in my 2 ww also! we had to pay out of pocket and that definitely hurts a bit! we've been trying for 7 years and this was our first IUI together with clomid and progesterone. We've never done it all together.

hi everyone im new at this website and i usually keep everything in because i never met or spoke 2 someone that has gone through the things that ive had until i read some stories here. I think its great that they have this website because it gives a person that goes through what we go through alot of faith, I am a proud mother of two beautiful daughters with my first daughter i went on clomid and my second was a huge surprisehttp://forums.adoption.com/images/icons/icon7.gif after having my 1st daughter 4 months later i was pregnant what a shock and i didnt use anything now that me and my hubby are trying to have a baby im not sure whats happening i had my first iui at the end of september which was the first time i had an iui done it was very stressful waiting the 2 weeks to find it if it worked or not it actually felt like i was waiting 2months and i couldnt get it out of my head but it turned out that it was not a successhttp://forums.adoption.com/images/icons/icon9.gif now i just went sun nov 1st and im so nervous because i ovulated fri and i couldnt make it 2 the drs on sat so they did the iui sunday im not sure if i missed my ovulation time but on top of that the sperm count after washing and doing what they do wasnt enough so i had to the the iui on sunday and go back on monday im so nervous that this wont work can someone please give me some advice and please keep me in ur prayers
