Thanks ladies! Sorry I haven't been online all week, DH and I went to NYC to spend a week before the holiday, all that walking and I sure did get a daily workout! This morning I took another test (lol) and I expected the line to be darker but it was the same, still there though. I don't know how I am going to wait until Friday to go to the doc. Do you really just request stuff?? I am on the side of the physician knows best...but I am hoping she will be able to tell me something about how many weeks I am, do y'all think they will or can they this early??

They will tell you how far along you are based on your last period or LMP. You can request a quantitative beta HCG test which is the blood test where they can see where your levels are and a repeat beta will help to show if it's rising appropriately. Can I ask why you are seeing a NP versus an OB/GYN?

When I first made the appointment and they asked why I told them that my periods were between 40- 80 days apart and that I wanted to speak with someone about what could be going on. It is an OB/GYN office and the NP works with them. They scheduled me with her. I guess because I wasn't pregnant??? She was very good and had a great bedside manner, which is better than what I have had with some OBs in this area. I have had several friends who used this practice when they were
and had very good experiences. Not sure if that exactly answers you question...but me not being pregnant would be the only answer I really have...is this unusual?
