Two Questions!

I am in the 2ww of my first cycle of injectables. My beta is scheduled for 3/3.

My first question is: last wednesday, I started prometrium, one 200mg taken as a suppository before bed. No problems at all, aside from the usual messiness. Yesterday my breasts started getting tender and have increased today. I am only 7dpo. Is this a side effect from the prometrium? That is what I am thinking, but want others thoughts?

And my second question: I don't want to know if anyone thinks this is a symptom of an ectopic, because I am already paranoid about that and have that in my head. But I have had some slight pinching on my left ovary on and off since ovulation (here and there with right ovary). But the last two days, when I urinate or have a **, and need to bear down at all (sorry for the details), the pinching increases and I can also feel it in my labia (how weird). Is this just due to nerve endings or what? It's so weird.

Anyone have any ideas on either?

I'm on progesterone too and I'm having sore bbs. I think it's a side effect that some have and others don't.

It's probably too early to be feeling an ectopic. Did you have more than one follicle on the left side? After the follicle releases an egg, the follicle breaks down in the days following ovulation and you can feel some cramping/pinching sensation. Maybe that's what you are feeling.

Sore bbs are definitely a side effect of prometrium. As for the other, you've had a lot of stuff going on in the groin region, so you probably can't read too much into the twinges at this point. After my iui cycles, I had intermittent ovary pain that I attributed to leftover follicles.

Good luck!

My breasts are as sore as they were last summer when I was pregnant. My husband hugged me last night and it HURT!

I didn't think what I was feeling was an ectopic, but whenever someone mentions pain near the ovaries in the 2ww, the replies are always about an ectopic. So really, I just wanted to get that out of the way.

I had 4 mature follicles when I triggered, two on each side. I figured part of it was that, but the pain when I urinate is really weird. It seems to start in my labia and radiates up to near my ovary. It's just really weird and uncomfortable, but nothing like a UTI.

I didn't take prometrium until after I was pregnant so I can't say for sure whether it causes breast tenderness. However, it's too early to feel anything for an ectopic pregnancy. I had one and had no signs or symptoms. It could be that a cyst has developed as I did have a big cyst early in this pregnancy and had a lot of pulling and stretching twinges early on. Might want to call your doctor just to be on the safe side if things don't get better.

Right now I am thinking ruptured cyst or present cyst, and the paranoiad part is worrying about kidney stones.

I have a history of weird medical things happening to me, so I never discount anything being possible.
