hi. i'm 30 and my hubby 31. we've been planning for about 4 months now. This april, my ovulation predictor kit showed positive on 17th and we've been having intercourse from 13th through 17th but couldn't do it from 18th onwards as we had to travel. I've read on internet that having intercourse prior to ovulation is good to get pregnant but i'm not sure as i cannot see any symptoms in my body... i know it's too early to wait for any pregnancy symptom as today's only 23rd apr but i'm eagerly waiting for implantation bleeding or nausea sensation to feel pregnancy.we're assuming that everything's fine with me and my hubby but i'm really confused after reading so much on net to have intercourse everyday or alternate days(every other day). For this month, we had sex for 5 consecutive days. Are there any chances of me getting pregnant this time?i've read so much that even if i feel little sensation near my belly button or on the right or left side of my waist, my mind connects it to the pregnancy symptoms !!!!
this is my first forum ever in my life n i'll be eagerly waiting for anyone's good advice.

Rammy! Glad that you posted here. Everyone is different with regards to pregnancy symptoms. some might get them all while others none well these are just two extremes. In addition, it is NOT necessary that being pregnant means you have to have implantation bleeding or nausea. Just want to wish you luck and would advice you to destress yourself and hope for the best. Hope you are soon.

Rammy - It is much to early to have symptoms. Some women never get any symptoms at all. As far as the intercourse. With my son I only did it the 1st day the test showed positive and I conceived! It only takes one time. Good luck to you.

marisa u wrote that u had BD just once the day your OPK showed positive, it worked for you as a lot of information on internet says that fresh sperms are needed so do u think that our BD from 13th apr - 17th apr was too much. Is it ok that we had everyday or should it have been every other day ??

Rammy, welcome! As the old story goes it only takes once, but more then once never hurt ( you or the chances! lol)
I usually get pregnant the first time I try or in this pregnancy when I am not trying. And I was CLUELESS this time until weeks later when I was on vacation with DH and his parents and had the funny hmmmmmmm feeling then said no, we only BD'd once no way! Well........... this one stuck! So good luck but do not get to cought up in searching for every feeling, if you get your BFP then trust me you will feel lots of feelings later on down the line!

Thanx Meremere!! I always thought that getting pregnant is as simple as it is for you (touch wood !!)
but things don't seem to be as simple for me. I will not say that i'm facing any prob but i'm getting restless to know the result !! My hubby is very understanding , he's very calm n patient, can wait for months ahead but for me.....You know in India, everybody says that over 31, it gets difficult to conceive...i have read on internet n everywhere that till 35 it's ok (n i really appreciate it ).....
I'm expressing myself so much on these forums coz i never discussed so much with anyone except my hubby.....he listens patiently but tell me to be patient....and now i've found these forums.....so no more bugging my hubby....I can bug u all lol !!!!
