My protocol is NUTS!!! I am actually taking estrogen shots in the butt (E2V). I am also on 600iu Gonal-F. I hope and pray you get 6 or more this time!! I jsut started stimming tonight so I wont know how i respond until next Monday. Good luck and keep me posted!!

What is an estrogen priming protocol exactly as your RE described it? What my RE did was put me on estradiol patches (2 per week) for the month before my IVF. I finally got my period and started stims saturday morning. I go tomorrow to check out my follies. Please let there be at least 6 again! I'll keep you posted...

Wow Lisa, that is a lot of meds! I hope all your little follies are growing well. Did they take a look when you started stims to tell you how many they saw to start or do you find out at another visit?

Got back from my doctors appt. They saw aobut 6 or 7 total follicles but 4 are growing REALLY well and the others are a bit small so may not pan out. Actually, they are growing a little fast so they need to reduce my stims. I am very encouraged and by the RE and nurse practionners response, so are they. The estrogen really helped they believe. Next visit Friday. Doctor is thinking Monday next week will be my day for retrieval. Come on follies....grow! I would so love to have 4 by the time of retrieval!!!

That is great!!! i am happy to hear that they think the estrogen is helping . I hope it all works outs and you have four follies to work with !! hey always say that it only takes ONE!! I can't wait to hear the news on Friday. Please keep me posted!

Lisa, how was your visit on Thursday. I went today and I have 3 strong follicles and 1 slightly smaller one. I am actually going to be getting my HCG injection Saturday and will be retrieving on Monday. I am very excited!! Come on FOLLIES

Monday is also a big day for me! I see how any follies are growing. I am soooooo nervous!! Yesterday they checked estrogen and the nurse said it was right where it should be ! I will let you know how it goes. My ER will be at the end of next week. Good Luck!

I had my retrieval yesterday. All three follies had quality eggs and were fertilized yesterday. I'll get updates later today to see how they are progressing. I feel so hopeful for the first time since I started this process in December...

AFM- Didn't go so well yesterday. My follies are not doing anything. After 7 nights of stimming....NOTHING!! We are hoping that we will see something tomorrow. The strange thing is that my estrogen is in the 900's. Some of that could be from the my EPP but not all. The nurse thinks something is going on . I will let u know!!

Yes, the wait is killing me. No call yet today, which is good news. The RE said they would only call if there were any problems so my 2 little ones must be multiplying... Tomorrow 3:30 is my transfer and then I am supposed to stay in bed for 3 days. DH said he would even carry me to the bathroom..lol

Don't get discouraged on your follies! My first IVF cycle the meds did not work too well ...Once the RE gets to know your body, sometimes they find a better protocol. HOWEVER, I am crossing my fingers for you this cycle! I just know both of us will achieve success!!

I went in this morning and he found 7 follicles! ER is friday. Jsut hoping I get two good quality embies to transfer I will be thinking of you!! Good Luck and let me know how it goes!!

Good news!!! ER was today and they retrieved 9 eggs!!! Now I have to see how many fertilize. The stress never ends but I am excited today!!!

5 Fertilized eggs is awesome!!! I can't wait to hear how they are doing. Are you transferring tomorrow or are they going for a 5 day transfer?

I had my transfer on Thursday and have been basically been laying in bed most of the weekend. My two fertilized eggs were both high quality 8 cell so all the doctors felt positive. With only 3 follicles, I feel I have miracles working around me at this point. HOPEFULLY, I had implantation this weekend and next week I get my positive results...I feel so hopeful at this point and just need a blood test next week to confirm. I'm dying to find out. The wait is so frustrating. I have blood work tomorrow to see how I am doing.

One thing about this process is that the progesterone shots are a KILLER! Are you having them done? It is complete torture in my butt. I am such a big baby too..lol

Yeah, you are PUPO!!! I am so happy for you!!! It seems like you have some good eggs!! That is the most important thing. I am waiting on my RE to call and tell me if I come in today or Wednesday. The suspense is killing me. I jsu hope my eggs are good quality !! This process is so hard!! Once you feel good about one thing, you have to wait to the next step!! Hopefully, I will be PUPO with in the next few days!!

Hey Lisa,

Your results are awesome!! When are you transferring? I wish you so much luck! I went to the doctor today just to do some check in blood work. The pregnancy test will be next Tuesday. This next week is going to be a killer! I am so tempted to just start taking pregnancy tests but was assured my results would not be necessarily true.

tarajean- I should be transfering tomorrow which is Day 5. They wen through PGD so I hope I have some normals to transfer. I am really nervous for the call tomorrow !!
I know how hard it is going to be NOT to test but you I would just wait for the beta. It is a personal decision and I know it's hard!! I wish you so much luck!!
