Congrats on your 2 girls...That is so crazy that you know that. I would have love to have done that but that testing was another $8K so we had to pass..

I did something really stupid today in my obsessive compulsion about knowing, and took a test..of course it was negative because it is too early, but thought maybe since I may be like 3 days pregnant I would already know and there would be enough HCG to determine...

What is wrong with me!! I am so impatient!! Blood test is next week on Tuesday so why would I think a HOME pregnancy test would tell me anything at this point...Now I am freaking...What a mistake to test. My husband would be so mad at me. I am so mad at myself!!!

Ok, took the blood test, I have to wait until like 5 pm for the results...I can't even think straight. I just am praying for a positive result. I just need to hear that so bad....

04/09-IVF #1 , cycle cancelled converted to IUI (only had 1 follicle for retrieval)

05/09-06/09-TTC Naturally again
06/13-07/12-Estrogen patches, progesterone inserts
07/16/09-Start IVF #2
Stims-375 IU Gonal-F per day, 75 IU menopur, 8 IU HGH, 5 units ganirelex
6 follies so far....
7/21-6-7 follies but 4 looking REALLY good. Lowering Gonal - F to 225 IU a day and increasing ganirelex to 15 Units.
7/24-3 really good follicles, 1 slightly smaller, HCG tomorrow night, Monday retrieval....
7/27-3 quality eggs retrieved....YEAH!!! Now I wait and pray they all grow!
7/28-2 eggs fertilized.....
7/30-2 8 cells eggs transfered. All high quality!!! Now I just wait..

We got our answer yesterday... . We spent our whole night crying. I feel so frustrated. I hope you get much better news!

This is so hard. We have already decided though to try again. We are not ready to give up!

hey gals , i had been hiding in my depression, but i thought i should let u know wut i went through. i had my ivf last month in july, i had 12 follicles to begin with but only 8 got matured and 7 were retrieved on july 8th, but only 3 fertilized. but only one was grade 1 so had only one transferred on 11th. i was put on progesteron injections( which was an awful experience, but butts were so sore that they had to put me on crinone gel) along with progesterone suppositories. we heard the good new on 22nd that my b-hcg is positive , and in next 2 days it doubled up. those were the happiest days of my life, i havent been so happy in last 2 years. i had mu fst USG scheduled on 11th of august. which was supposed to be 6 wk and one day. that showed fetal heart rate of 76 with small for dates gestational sac. which is a very bad news. i am still in phase of denial that how could this happen, so i am going next wk for USG, chances of fetal survival are extremely low. I am so devastated . I am becoming hopeless now. i wish u guys all the best, may God bless all of you with healthy pregnancies and normal babies.

I'm that the baby will be okay. I'm so sorry you are going through this. This whole process is so emotional. IVF #3 for me in October.

I had the same experience with the progesterone. It hurt like hell until this week, when I found out my .

I just want to hear everyone is having healthy babies!!!!!! Hopefully we'll all get there together by the end of the year..

I have been devastated since the news but feeling better as the days go on. I am NOT giving up and I will do whatever it takes to have another baby!!
Yes, we will just have to exchange next summer!! I see you are trying in October. I have to wait until November. We will get through this together!!! i know it will eventuallyy happen for us!!

I have a doctors appt tomorrow to review my cycle and see what we can do different in October. Also to discuss further why the cycle may have failed. Did your RE give you any indication as to what happenned? My husband and I just want to know what we have to do to fix ourselves but I know this isn't guaranteed even with medical intervention.

My nurse felt so bad when she had to tell me (the nurse is the day to day support). She actually lost 2 children in her twenties and was never able to conceive again so has such a personal interest. She is great from that perspective and I guess that is why when she believes I will get pregnant, I believe it to.

In the meantime, I think we will TTC naturally but maybe just more for the fun of it since this month we were afraid to do anything due to the cycle. I may go back to accupuncture this time to. Have you tried that?

Once again, I'm so sorry, I guess July wasn't the month for many. It just must be too darn hot ...

I'm sorry to hear about the BFN's. At least you are not giving up and will be going through the process again by the fall.

afm, I only had one egg that was mature and we transferred it. My beta is on Friday and I've been debating about whether or not to do an hpt ahead of time.

If I'm a bfn, I will probably have to wait until Jan and start with a de.
