Hi! After my second MC I was told by RE that I have the beginning signs of POF. I am 32 (almost 33 ). My FSH has been as high as 26. I think it was as low as 8 a couple years ago when I started seeing the RE. Then it went into the 20's. It's been going up one month and then way down the next month. I don't get it but RE said this would happen. He said that I have to have two months of it being low before he will put me on injectables again. The month before last month it was 10.7, last month 26 and this mont 7! I just don't understand. RE said that donor eggs is my BEST option. Is anyone else going through the same thing and if so... what have you been told or been able to figure out about it?

I am going through the exact same thing, and it is so frustrating! My re told me that my best bet was to use donor eggs, and that is something I do not want to consider right now. I have done 3 iui's and am moving on to # 4 this month. The cost is killing me as my injectables are not covered by insurance but I keep holding on to the fact that I really beleive it will happen. I'm starting acupuncture tomorrow,so we will see what happens!! Good luck to you.

I may be mistaken and I am not quite sure about this one. I remember my doc offering me the clomid challenge test. Your FSH is taken on day 3 and then you take clomid and then FSH tested again on day 10. You may want to take a look into it. Perhaps you will get a better accurate FSH? HTH
