Family pre-menopause

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me I am 57 years old and have two beautiful daughters agea 27 and 30. After my youngest was born I was told I was going thru menopause. In talking to family members I do have a great aunt who was pre-menopause. My oldest daughter just turned 30 a few weeks ago and informed me that she was pre-menopause. How did this happen??? Does anyone know if this is inherited or if you have ever heard from others who may have the same situation?

I am so sorry that your daughter is going through this. To be honest with you, my RE didn't know why or how this happened. He didn't think it was hereditary. My mother had me at 40 so it wasn't herediatry for me. I know there has to be something be a reason than just bad luck! Sorry I couldn't give you an answer but I wanted to respond

I am in a similar situation. I am 30 and my doc just informed me that I had diminished ovarian reserve. My RE said it was genitic and there it was nothing I did. It is completely devasting news being only 30 years old.
