That's great news about your follie count! My old RE told me after I got my high FSH results that he didn't see many antral follies when I had my 1st u/s a year ago. My new RE said he noted in my chart that I didn't have any antral follies for all 4 of my IUI cycles .

Good luck tomorrow and I hope you get the go ahead for this cycle.

Hi ladies! I have been reading your thread here and am jumping in!!I found out last month I have an fsh of 14.8 (AFTER an attempt at an ivf cycle/poor response)
I only made two follies after 14 days of stims.
I am sorry we all have to deal with this but am glad I found you!!
You guys have some interesting ideas i will try!!

sunshine- how absolutely frustrating your past RE did not even catch that you had no antral follies!! And for 4 iUI's! I am glad you have a good RE now though. Good luck !

Deanna- that is great your antral follie count raised!! Good luck with the follistims!!!

Jen

Hi Jen! I'm so sorry about your cancelled cycle. That's such a big step going for IVF and I'm guessing an even bigger let down when it was cancelled. I know you must be on pins and needles waiting to be tested again....I know I'm having alot of anxiety about my second test too. I'm really glad you joined in. I truly hate that we have to go through this, but I'm glad that we atleast have a place where we can swap stories, compare, and just chat.

I was excited about my antral counts going up, however this current cycle wasn't as good (only 6).
My RE did say it fluctuates. I was just hoping it was all the acupuncture and herbs/supplements that were helping. Even though I only have 6, my RE is still hoping to get 4 follicles with this stimulated cycle. I'm keeping my . I was kinda bummed to hear 6 but she said "that's good". I was having a hard time believing that was good, but maybe it is if your FSH is 28.

Jen- sorry to hear your cycle was cancelled. Thanks for jumping in. the more the merrier. Let's keep this thread active.

I just noticed on your siggy that your estradiol was high on 2/16. Did the RE call back yet with today's levels? I hope that they are on track!!!

Today's was 473. I'm going back in the morning for ultrasound and another estradiol. Hopefully it will be ok. My day 3 estradiols are almost always high also. I think it goes along with the high FSH.

Has anyone had any luck dispite a high FSH level? My age is the only thing my specialist thinks that I have going for me(28).

Hi ladies!

Deanna- I am praying for you- looks like your beta is coming up !!

sunshine- I had my CD 2 fsh results last wednesday ( they always take forever to call me). It was down to 7.8!! So... don't know what exactly is going on there. My high level was taken CD4? So I don't know if it goes up as you go through your cycle days? Regardless, I am still a poor responder so they are putting me on a lupron "flare" protocol.. shorter amount of time- I think it is microdose lupron?? They do want me to get genetic testing for fragile x syndrome- apparently if fsh goes up it can be a possible indicator you are a carrier? But is rare?

I am still cheering you all on!!

Jen

Hey Jen, good news that your FSH went down this month. I pray you have success with the new lupron protocol. I had the genetic testing (Fragile X and Karyotype) done a few weeks ago and I'm waiting for the resutls. It takes about a month for them to come back. Good luck with your tests!!!

chickycran- Thanks! I was wondering how long it took to come back and the RE said a week??? I thought that sounded too quick for genetic testing... I am betting it really is like a month. What a long time to wait and wonder....
