When I went for my first FSH testing it was 16.9. That was over two years ago and from that point on I tried everything under the sun to lower it. I went to acupuncture twice weekly, took Chinese herbs formulated by my acupuncturist twice daily, plus switched to organic food only (no wheat, no dairy) and a handful of supplements including CoQ10, L'arginine, DHEA (for three months), folic acid, and a powder that you make into a drink called GreensPlus. I also stopped drinking alcohol. After my fifth failed IUI (and countless cancelled cycles due to high FSI and cysts), my FSH was at its highest - 28.6. My doctor suggested I take the summer off and take a break. The only thing he wanted me to take was 800 mg of CoQ10 daily which he heard had fantastic results in women with not very many eggs and ageing ones at that. I did just that, and after two months was shocked (and I mean shocked!) to be seeing a BFP. I'm not sure if this will work for everyone, but if you have a history of high FSH and DOR (I tended to have only 4-5 antral follicles present at day 3), this may work for you.

Best of luck. I wish you all BFPs!

I have high FSH & DOR as well. Never heard of CoQ10. What is it and where did you get it? Willing to try almost anything!
BTW, congrats on your BFP!!! It gives me hope.
